What does brother mean?
She mustered up her courage and turned her head to look at him.
The man's lips curled up, his black pupils narrowed and fixed on her face, smiling: "Miss Xia, don't you think so? Brother can also be a husband?"
Xia Weiyi opened his lips helplessly, goose bumps rolling out of his neck and spreading all over his body in an instant.
Si Wuan fiddled with the earring on his earlobe with his fingers. The small silver decoration made Xia Weiyi feel impulsive.
"Mr. Si, you are really different after coming to the bar than you are at the company." Assistant Li joked with a smile.
Others joined in the joke, and for a moment the atmosphere became warm and joyful.
Afterwards, Si Wuan talked to Assistant Li through Xia Weiyi from time to time.
His face was close to Xia Weiyi, and his hot breath spread out, permeating her body. She sat upright in the same place, but her heart was undergoing drastic changes.
"Weiyi, what do you think about this?" The man suddenly lowered his voice and asked her. His eyes fell on her delicate and fair face. She was at a loss for words at the sudden question.
She didn't hear what they were talking about at all.
Si Wuan lowered his eyes, his black pupils burning brightly in the darkness, and spoke slowly, "Why don't you talk to your brother?"
Assistant Li smiled, sat up straight, picked up the wine on the table and drank.
Xia Weiyi stammered: "I, I didn't hear what you said just now?"
"Oh, what were you thinking about?" His voice was low and hoarse, revealing a casual smile: "Well, tell your brother?"
Xia Weiyi was stunned. Facing his bewitching face, she trembled and opened her lips, unable to speak.
She couldn't tell him that she was feeling his breath and the warmth he conveyed.
"Forget it, I won't force you anymore." Si Wuan said lazily.
Xia Weiyi had just managed to breathe a sigh of relief, but his next words made his heart hang high in the air, wandering.
"But you have to have a drink with your brother."
Xia Weiyi's body shrank back, right into his palm.
The big hand completely covered the skin on her back, the fingertips were slightly cold, and the palm was hot. Xia Weiyi almost screamed, and she stood up suddenly.
It attracted a lot of attention.
The man narrowed his black pupils, and his tall body sank a little further into the sofa. His face was well hidden in the darkness, making it impossible to see his expression.
"I'm going to the bathroom." Xia Weiyi said to Assistant Li beside him.
Assistant Li also stood up, made way for her to leave, and warned her, "Be careful."
Xia Weiyi walked out of the box with unsteady steps.
Si Wuan hooked his fingertips, stood up, and said to Assistant Li, "I'm going to the bathroom too."
Assistant Li made way again: "Boss Si, do you need me to accompany you?"
Si Wuan lowered his eyes: "Do you still want to accompany me?"
Assistant Li smiled and sat down: "I dare not, I dare not."
Si Wuan walked out of the box, lit a cigarette, and slowly walked towards the bathroom.
Many women saw him on the road, like a she-wolf seeing fresh meat, or a demon meeting Tang Monk, and stopped him to ask for his WeChat.
"I'm here to play with my wife."
The beauty who wanted WeChat was coquettish: "You can still play with me even if you have a wife. I don't mind."
"Sorry, I do mind." Si Wuan refused coldly, holding a cigarette in his mouth, exuding a nonchalant air.
The beauty stared at his back and murmured, "Evil nature, such a seductive man can be so chaste, which makes him even more attractive."
Before Si Wuan reached the restroom, he saw someone blocking Xia Weiyi and harassing him.
"Sir, I don't add strangers on WeChat. Please don't bother me."
"Beauty, let's be friends. I'm not a bad person."
"What's the difference between your behavior and that of a bad person?" Xia Weiyi looked impatient.
The drunk man in front of me was wearing an expensive suit. It seemed that he had rushed to the bar after get off work and had not yet taken off his daytime clothes. He must be a domineering leader.
He stretched out his hand to grab Xia Weiyi's arm, wanting to get entangled
Si Wuan took off his silver-framed glasses, put them in his trouser pocket, grabbed the man in the suit by the collar, and punched him.
The man in the suit screamed, blood gushing out of his nose. He cursed, "Who are you? Minding my business?"
Si Wuan punched him again, and the man in the suit fell to the ground, covering his face and howling in pain.
The man took out his glasses from his pants and put them on again. Facing the frightened girl, he raised his eyes to interact with her and said in a coaxing tone: "Brother, did you get scared?"
To be honest, Xia Weiyi was frightened. He had never seen him so violent. He had always been elegant and dignified, and there was no need for him to do anything himself.
"Brother, are you okay?"
"You finally called me brother." Si Wuan chuckled. The smell on his body, a mixture of alcohol and cigarettes, was so pleasant.
Xia Weiwei: "..."
"Let me take you home." The man's eyes returned to darkness and coldness.
"Okay, thank you." Xia Weiyi didn't want to stay in the bar either.
Outside the bar, the night breeze was blowing and the air was much fresher.
Xia Weiyi followed his footsteps and came to the parking lot. His car was a black business sedan, low-key and luxurious.
The man opened the passenger door and motioned for her to get in.
She did as she was told and sat down.
The man bent down, pulled the seat belt, and buckled it around her waist. The bewitching scent from his body filled Xia Weiyi's nostrils. Her body tensed slightly, and she looked away, deliberately ignoring the throbbing he brought.
After Si Wuan had done all this, he walked around to the driver's seat, opened the door and sat down.
All the windows were closed, and the moment the car started, Xia Weiyi noticed the coldness in him.
She lowered her head and thought for a while, then whispered, "I've never encountered anything like this before in a bar. This is the first time."
