Chapter 35 I Love You

Si Wuan said calmly: "It's okay, don't worry about me."

Xia Weiyi couldn't help but hug him, his nose close to his neck, breathing deeply: "Brother Wu'an, they don't love you, but I do."

The girl was like a little puppy, sniffing around with her nose and her rosy lips falling on his blood vessels.

The blood rushed to his veins, causing the man to lose control. He stopped him coldly, "Weiyi, don't do this."

Xia Weiyi hugged him tighter and whispered in his ear, "Brother Wu'an, you are so kind and shouldn't be hurt. I feel so bad for you."

The man stood up and scolded: "Xia Weiyi, I am your brother."

The girl who was pushed away fell on the sofa, her body limp, her eyes wide open, staring at the man in front of her with a flushed face and red ears.

Si Wuan's breathing was disordered, and he tried to suppress the huge waves surging in his heart.

"I'll find out who was on the ship that night. Hopefully, it wasn't you."

Xia Weiyi was trembling all over.

She heard Si Wuan calling his assistant and asking him to take her back to Si's house. In a trance, she also heard him say not to come again.

In her previous life, she would have been obedient and never dared to appear in front of him again, but this life is different.

For a long time afterwards, Xia Weiyi hid on the second floor of the Si family to study.

Si Mumu was surprised by her frantic study. When did a poor student become so fond of studying? However, she wasn't worried at all that Xia Weiyi would win the bet. After all, with Xia Weiyi's background, no matter how hard she worked, she wouldn't be able to get into the top five of Imperial Capital University.

Sometimes when Si Wuan came home, Si Mumu would whisper to him, "Brother, Xia Weiyi is studying very hard, but I think it's ridiculous. No matter how hard she tries, it's useless. She's just working in isolation."

Si Wuan narrowed his eyes and looked at the door of the bedroom on the second floor. He felt mixed emotions about her hiding at home to study every day.

Si Wuan was still investigating what happened on the ship, but he had found nothing. Perhaps it had nothing to do with the little girl. Was he too harsh on the little girl last time?

It’s September and the Imperial Capital University is about to start school.

Xia Weiyi didn't go to the first day of school, when they received their books, were assigned to dormitories and majors. Uncle Si arranged everything. She could just let him know once he had made the arrangements.

When she was packing her things at home, she found that a small suitcase could be filled with her favorite things. The jade pendant her mother left her and the things about Si Wuan that she stole were all placed at the bottom of the suitcase.

Carrying the suitcase, I walked out of the bedroom and went downstairs.

She clearly felt that the expressions of the Si family mother and daughter in the living room were much more relaxed. Yes, they should be very happy without her around.

Brother Wu'an didn't come to see her off. Although she felt a little sad, she felt relieved when she thought that the Imperial Capital University would soon have a placement test and she would get good grades and ask him for a reward.

Si Han said calmly, "I'll ask the driver at home to take you to the academy."

"No need, Uncle Si, I can just take the subway myself."

Si Han looked at the much-grown girl in front of him and nodded slowly: "I'll take you to the subway station."

His words made the mother and daughter of the Si family change their expressions suddenly. They thought that their lives would be much better after Xia Weiyi left, but seeing how much Si Han doted on Xia Weiyi, their hearts were still completely corroded by jealousy.

"Mom, Dad is so good to her. If I go to college, can Dad send me there in person?"

Madam Si sneered: "Mu Mu, don't lower yourself by comparing yourself to this little vixen."

Si Mumu looked at her mother. Her mother's face was already ferocious with jealousy, but she refused to admit it. The girl clenched her hands and said silently: How great it would be if Xia Weiyi hadn't appeared. Her father must love her very much, right?

Si Han walked Xia Weiyi to the subway entrance. He fixed her with a calm gaze, "I only have one request of you."

Xia Weiyi looked up and looked at him puzzledly.

"Study hard, don't fall in love."

Xia Weiyi's palms were sweating. Even though she was gasping for breath under the pressure of his majesty, she still mustered up the courage to ask, "I'm an adult now, why can't I have a relationship?"

"I'm afraid you'll meet the wrong person."

"What if I meet a good man?"

Faced with the girl's questioning, the usually calm Si Han lost his composure slightly: "You are still a child, and your judgment of men is not accurate. If you really want to fall in love, I can introduce you to someone. The only thing I am doing is for your own good."

"I know my uncle has always been very good to me. You don't want me to repeat my mother's mistakes, but I asked my mother and she said she didn't regret it."

"Xia Weiyi!" Si Han yelled, silencing her. His handsome face instantly aged considerably.

Xia Weiyi stood up straight stubbornly, biting her lips, as if she was determined to fall in love even if the sky fell and the earth collapsed.

"Forget it, go to school first, everything is arranged."

Xia Weiyi relaxed his body, bowed deeply to Si Han, and turned to walk into the subway.

After getting on the subway, she sent a WeChat message to Si Wuan: "Brother, why didn't you come to see me off?"

This was the first time she sent him a WeChat message since the ointment incident.

Soon, he replied: "I'm busy with work. I wish you a smooth start to school."

Xia Weiyi clenched her phone tightly and took a deep breath before she felt less sad. He replied to WeChat so quickly, so he must care about her, right?

When they arrived at Imperial Capital University, a tall and handsome man was standing at the gate. He claimed to be Professor Jiang from the Fashion Design Department of the college and took her to familiarize herself with the entire campus.

Professor Jiang is young and handsome, and he attracts a lot of attention when he walks around the college.

She couldn't help but look over: "Professor Jiang, do you know Teacher Duan Yi?"

"Yes, I have always admired Teacher Duan Yi and wanted to get to know him."

Xia Weiyi was stunned: "Didn't Teacher Duan Yi arrange for you to pick me up?"

"No."

At this moment, Xia Weiyi thought that Professor Jiang should have been arranged by Uncle Si Han. She clenched her hands, thinking that perhaps her every move in the academy would be transmitted to Uncle Si Han's ears intact.

Professor Jiang took her into a single dormitory with one bedroom and one living room. The decoration was simple and high-end, and it was fully equipped with daily necessities.

"I know you're a good painter. I look forward to seeing you create wonderful paintings and designs."

"Thank you, Professor Jiang." Xia Weiyi bowed politely and apologized.

"Hey, don't call me professor, call me brother, it sounds much nicer."

Xia Weiyi pursed her lips and smiled, but never called out the word "brother".

Professor Jiang didn't say anything. He left his WeChat and left. He walked out of the girls' dormitory and called his friend: "Wu'an, I've done what you asked me to do."

"Thank you. I'll have to trouble you to take good care of her in the academy in the future."

"She's very beautiful. Aren't you afraid that I might steal your girl?"

"Jiang Ming, she is my sister."

Jiang Ming chuckled: "Your sister is Si Mumu, and I watched her grow up. Si Wuan, stop hiding it. I already know what you're thinking."

Si Wuan said coldly: "Don't make fun of me and Weiyi. In my eyes, she is no different from Mumu."

"Oh, go ahead and pretend. I'm telling you, there are a lot of outstanding guys in Imperial University. If you don't act quickly, she might get chased away by someone else."

Click, Si Wuan hung up the phone...
