The girl looked up, tears welling up in her eyes, her fair face flushed red as she stammered, "...I...didn't find my brother when I woke up. I...I missed him."
Si Wuan raised his feet with difficulty and walked towards the bed.
"Brother, I didn't mean to hug your clothes, kiss them, or ravage them. I've already gotten rid of this bad habit. But tonight, I'm afraid you won't want me anymore."
Before Si Wuan came home, she could only hold his clothes and sob quietly. Now seeing him, she felt even more aggrieved, crying breathlessly, her nose sore, and her voice hoarse.
The man stood by the bed, put his big hands around her and placed them against his abdomen.
Xia Weiyi's tears fell on his shirt, her body trembled uncontrollably, and she continued to cry.
"Something happened at home today. My dad wants to send my mom to a mental hospital."
Suddenly Xia Weiyi stopped crying. She felt cold all over. The Si family was in such a mess.
"My dad said that if I give up on you, he will let my mom go." Si Wu'an's throat was dry. He raised his hand with difficulty and stroked her hair, stroking it back and forth.
"You, agreed?"
Xia Weiyi was enveloped in a huge fear. She was afraid of being abandoned, so she opened her arms and hugged his waist tightly, burying her face in his abdominal muscles, motionless, deeply absorbing the scent of his body, afraid that she would never be able to smell this scent again.
"No, why should I compromise between them?" Si Wuan chuckled self-deprecatingly: "I suggested that my mother divorce and move abroad. She has plenty of money and can start a new life. She rejected my proposal and said she wanted to fight to death with my father."
Xia Weiyi tentatively said, "Your mother loves Uncle Si very much."
Si Wuan laughed again: "Is this love? They have never loved each other."
"I don't want to care about them anymore. I plan to send Mu Mu abroad. Mu Mu is willing to start a new life, but she wants to see you before she leaves. Do you want to see her?"
Xia Weiyi nodded without hesitation: "I'm willing to see her."
"Don't push yourself because of me."
"No, not at all reluctant." The girl shook her head. She stood up on the bed and looked at her boss Wu An at eye level.
"Brother Wu'an, thank you for loving me so much."
Si Wuan nodded in approval: "My good girl."...
The next afternoon, Xia Weiyi had just walked out of the gate of Imperial Capital University when he saw the Si family's car parked at the door. He turned around and returned to the college vigilantly.
The people in the car spotted her, and two bodyguards jumped out and chased after her.
Soon, she was surrounded by bodyguards.
"Miss Xia, Master Si asked us to take you home. Please don't make things difficult for us."
"I belong to Brother Wu'an now. You should think carefully. If you offend Brother Wu'an, you won't have an easy time."
The two bodyguards looked at each other and said, "We take Mr. Si's money and do things for him." Then they reached out to grab her.
"Grandson, you dare to arrest my people in the academy, are you looking for death?"
Jiang Ming appeared and punched the two bodyguards. With the help of Xia Weiyi, he quickly subdued them.
"We are Master Si's men. If you beat us, you are going against Master Si."
Jiang Ming grinned, "I'm so scared, I really am." He then kicked the two bodyguards hard in the stomach, "But, I'm Si Wuan's man."
Hearing this, the two bodyguards ran away.
"Professor Jiang Ming, thank you."
"It's my duty, sister-in-law." Jiang Ming said with a smile.
Xia Weiyi discovered that Jiang Ming smiled particularly sweetly when he called her sister-in-law.
Sure enough, when Si Wuan arrived, Jiang Ming called her "brother and sister-in-law" several times in a row.
Si Wuan frowned: "Sister-in-law?"
"Yes, if I hadn't risked my life today, my sister-in-law would have been captured. You two should thank me."
Si Wu'an shifted his gaze to Xia Weiyi's face, and the girl's snow-white face blushed.
"Professor Jiang Ming, please don't talk nonsense. Brother Wu An and I are not married yet. We are not husband and wife."
"Isn't it? You will definitely get married, right? Then I will give my brother and sister-in-law a big red envelope." Jiang Ming smiled freely.
Only then did Xia Weiyi realize that Jiang Ming wanted to take advantage of Brother Wu An.
Si Wuan and Jiang Ming are of the same age, and Si Wuan is a few days older than Jiang Ming. At this moment, Jiang Ming called him "brother", but he did not refute.
He took Xia Weiyi's hand and checked her carefully: "Are you okay?"
"I'm fine."
"Yeah." Si Wuan said softly, "I'm glad you're okay."
Jiang Ming shouted from the side, "This is all my credit. Brother, are you going to thank me?"
"If you keep calling me brother, I won't be polite." Si Wuan warned: "When you see Weiyi next time, remember to call her sister-in-law."
Xia Weiyi uttered an "ah" sound: "No, no, Professor Jiang Ming is our elder."
"I'm one year older than him. You're my wife, so it's normal for him to call you sister-in-law." Si Wuan pinched her shoulders with his big hands and said persistently, "Don't you want to marry me?"
"Yes, very much."
"Oh, I've had enough dog food." Jiang Ming said with a smile.
Si Wuan also laughed: "It's your turn to eat my dog food."
Xia Weiyi blinked her eyes and couldn't help asking, "Brother, I used to see Professor Jiang Ming often fall in love. Do you want to fall in love?"
"Yes." Si Wu'an nodded, then lowered his head and whispered, "But you were young at that time, and I couldn't be too beastly."
Xia Weiyi's body tensed up. She really liked her brother doing this, always expressing his love for her and giving her a sense of security.
Si Wuan drove Xia Weiyi home.
On the way, his cell phone rang. It was Si Han calling.
After the call was connected, he called out coldly, "Dad."
"If you still call me dad, you wouldn't have let anyone chase away the people I sent. Si Wuan, you suppress me in the company and monopolize all the power. I want to see Weiyi, and you also stop me? Are you going to be mad to death?"
