In the small suite.
"My parents and sister are not good to you. I'm really afraid that the baby will dislike me one day."
Xia Weiyi gasped. It turned out that he was in a very bad mood because of this. She thought he was heartbroken because of Si Mumu's crying.
"No, they are them, and you are you. I am with you." She smiled and said, "At worst, I won't see them in the future. Don't blame me."
Si Wuan rolled his voice and said, "How could I blame you? Just do whatever you like."
Xia Weiyi snuggled tightly in his arms: "That's great, I love you."

Then Si Wuan suddenly became busy. He would even hold meetings at the company until late at night. Sometimes she would wait for him in the apartment until he fell asleep on the sofa.
The first thing he would do when he got home was to take her back to the bedroom.
She woke up, hugged him, and murmured: "Brother Wu'an, you came back so late."
"I've been busy with work lately." Si Wuan said softly, took off her shoes and socks, covered her with a soft blanket, sat on the edge of the bed, gently stroked her hair with his fingers, and slowly reminded her: "Don't wait for me in the future, go to bed early, it hurts to see you like this."
Xia Weiyi would act like a spoiled child: "I want to wait for you, but if I can't wait for you, I will be sad."
She took his hand and placed it on her heart: "You leave so early every morning. If I don't see you at night, I will go crazy."
The man's big hand gently rubbed her heart, and his tone was doting: "Well, did you have a good meal tonight?"
"I have. I made the meal myself in the apartment. How about you?"
"I'm eating well too." He lowered his head and touched the tip of his nose to hers: "We both need to have a good body."
Xia Weiyi widened her eyes, feeling that he was extremely tired. She always knew that Brother Wu'an was very busy at work, but he was very capable. He had managed Si's company with ease for so many years. Why was he suddenly so busy now?
"What happened at the company?"
Si Wuan was slightly startled and shook his head: "No, I just have a new project."
He lied. He and his father have been fighting for power recently and he can't let his guard down at all.
"You go to sleep, I'm going to take a bath."
Xia Wei nodded slightly.
The man got up and walked out of the bedroom to the bathroom in the guest room. When he came back after a long time, the girl was still awake.
"Why haven't you slept yet?" He said with concern and reproach.
"Wait until you hold me to sleep."
The man smiled, stepped onto the bed, and held her in his arms: "Okay, my baby."
Xia Weiyi nestled in his arms and slowly fell asleep in a very well-behaved posture.
Si Wu'an fell into insomnia. His fingers kept stroking her hair, breathing shallowly, for fear of disturbing the girl's good sleep. After enduring this period, he could marry Weiyi and give her a grand wedding.
The next day, Si Wuan went to the company early as usual, while Xia Weiyi came to the studio and painted quietly.
At dusk, Xia Weiyi packed up her drawing board and was about to leave when she received a call from Si Wuan: "Weiyi, I'm going back to Si's house for dinner. Don't wait for me."
Xia Weiyi agreed.
"Weiyi, would you think too much?"
Xia Weiyi on the other end of the phone shook his head: "No, Brother Wu'an, I'm not a child anymore."
Si Wuan praised: "Good girl."
After hanging up the phone, the black car that Si Wuan was riding in had arrived at the Si villa.
He walked in and went straight to Si Mumu's bedroom.
When Song Chang saw him, she complained, "Why are you so slow? Your sister has been feeling unwell since yesterday. I don't know what's wrong, but she hasn't been able to eat."
Si Mumu, lying on the bed, had a pale face and looked excited when she saw him.
"Mumu, you don't have to pretend to be sick. It was okay before, but now you've grown up a lot. You shouldn't do such childish things anymore."
Si Mumu's face flushed red after being called out. She clutched the blanket tightly, trying to bury her head in it. Ever since she'd caught her brother and Xia Weiyi together, she'd been afraid that her brother wouldn't want her, so she resorted to the same old trick.
Although the brother sounded angry, he came after all. This shows that he still has her as his sister in his heart.
Song Chang asked in confusion: "Wu'an, what are you talking about? Your sister is really sick."
Si Wuan fixed his gaze on his mother and said calmly, "Really? Just like you used to, always getting sick and asking me to beg Dad to come home, right?"
Song Chang's face turned pale and her body trembled: "Wu'an, you..."
Si Wuan's face was full of fatigue: "I still have things to do at the company, I'll leave first."
After he left, Song Chang turned around and asked her daughter on the bed, "What's wrong with your brother? Why is he so sharp?"
Si Mumu shook her head vigorously: "I don't know either." She covered her head with a blanket. She would not tell her mother. She would keep the secret for her brother until her brother was willing to make it public.
This was all she could do for her brother. Thinking of this, she sobbed softly and sadly. There was so little she could do for her brother. She had to grow up quickly and stop causing trouble for her brother.
Si Wuan returned to the apartment and saw Xia Weiyi eating instant noodles. He frowned and said, "Is this your idea of eating well?"
"Don't eat anymore. I'll make you something to eat."
He got up and walked to the kitchen, opened the refrigerator, and took out eggs, tomatoes, and bok choy.
Soon, the sound of neatly chopping vegetables could be heard in the kitchen.
Xia Weiyi walked over and hugged him from behind: "Brother Wu'an, are you angry?"
"No." He shook his head slightly.
Although he said no, he exuded an aura of indifference, which was what Xia Weiyi was most afraid of seeing.
She held him tightly with her fingers: "I have really been eating well recently, but I suddenly wanted to eat instant noodles tonight."
