Then he sighed and said, "To be honest, I was forced to leave the capital because I offended her."
"Offended? How?"

Xu Si thought for a moment and didn't say his dirty thoughts out loud. Instead, he made up an excuse, "She was my family's servant. She stole things from my family and ran away, so I came to her to collect the debt."
Seeing that he spoke as if it was a matter of course, Feng Miao believed it a little and made a plan in his mind.
"This woman is quite resourceful and has connections with many officials.
