"Her name is Yinyin, she's one year younger than you, and she'll be your younger sister from now on." Xu Jiang then said to Yinyin, "This is the elder sister from the Lin family, her name is Hongchu."
Yin Yin called out sweetly, "Sister Hongchu."
"Hey." Lin Hongchu came up and took her hand, asking, "Is it time for breakfast? I'm making some fried dough sticks, do you want some?"
Xu Jiang suddenly coughed.
Yin Yin glanced at her in confusion. She blinked at her but didn't understand what she meant. Then she nodded to Lin Hongchu and said, "Okay."
"Come with me." Lin Hongchu smiled and pulled her to the kitchen.
"Oh." Xu Jiang couldn't help but sigh.
After a while, Yin Yin came out of the kitchen. Her lips were greasy and her eyes were dazed, like a little duck.
Lin Hongchu followed her and asked expectantly, "How is it? Is it delicious?"
Yin Yin nodded blankly, "Delicious...
Xu Jiang pulled her over, took out a handkerchief and wiped her mouth. Then she asked Lin Hongchu, "Did you pour oil into the oil fruit? How did you make her stupid?"
"It's not stuffed with oil, it's just coated with brown sugar. It tastes pretty good. Do you want some? I'll get you two."
"No, I'm not hungry." Xu Jiang waved her hands repeatedly. She couldn't bear it any longer. Then she hurriedly pulled Yin Yin, who was bored and silly, out. "I have something to do in the bookstore. I'll leave first."
Lin Hongchu saw them off.
Before getting in the car, Xu Jiang told her, "Close the door, remember?"
"Remember, sister, don't worry. Father has left someone to watch over it, so nothing will happen." As she said that, she pointed to the porridge shop not far away.
Xu Jiang looked back and saw Guards Xue, Zhu and two other guards coming out of the porridge shop wiping their mouths.
When the few people approached, the other two guards saluted Xu Jiang.
Xu Jiang returned the gift and then entrusted the two men to take good care of the school and Lin Hongchu, to which the two men naturally agreed.
After leaving the private school, the group returned to Huailiu Lane, where Manager Wang had just opened a shop.
Xu Jiang lifted the carriage curtain to greet him. He patted his belly and said to the others, "Last night, the little girl was craving for some fried fruit. Your sister-in-law fried a lot of them this morning. They were delicious, and she even saved a lot for you. I'll bring some for you to try later."
Guard Xue replied, "It's a pity that Brother Zhu and I just finished breakfast and are feeling full right now."
Guard Zhu smiled and said, "You can leave it there and have it as a snack in the afternoon."
Shopkeeper Wang asked with a smile, "What story are you going to tell today?"
Guard Xue thought for a moment and said, "Let's talk about 'Buying Longevity'."
Shopkeeper Wang clapped his hands and said, "Then I'll boil another bucket of tea to soothe your throat."
“Okay!”
In the carriage, Xu Jiang couldn't help laughing when she heard about the fried fruit, and then teased Yin Yin, "Do you want to eat more?"
Yin Yin quickly shook her head, she never wanted to eat oily fruit again!
Shopkeeper Wang was confused.
Xu Jiang chuckled and said, "We just came from Hong Chu's place. She also made oil-fried fruit with brown sugar filling. The little girl was inexperienced and fell for it."
Shopkeeper Wang showed sympathy. "Poor girl." Then he said maliciously, "Would you like to try some of my food?"
"No, no." Yin Yin hurriedly pulled down the car curtain to hide.
Xu Jiang and Shopkeeper Wang couldn't help laughing.
The bookstore opened its doors amidst the laughter.
After Xu Jiang had finished cleaning up, Manager Wang brought over some fried fruits. Little Wang followed behind him, carrying two bowls of porridge and a few plates of pickles.
Liang Mo happened to arrive as well. Xu Jiang ate the oily fruit while sighing at the stubborn donkey's round belly.
Liang Mo said he had already had breakfast, but the shopkeeper Wang forced him to drink the porridge left for him on the grounds that he had grown taller, and also stuffed a few fried fruits into his mouth.
He was choked so much that he no longer wanted to eat the oily fruit.
The morning sun broke through the fog, and guests also came.
Everyone returned to their seats.
Xu Jiang came out with a smile and said, "Mr. Wen, you are here. Please come in."
Wen Hui smiled and said, "Shopkeeper Xu, I came to ask you about the letter. Have you found the paper I asked you to help me find?"
Xu Jiang invited the person into the house and said as they walked in, "Not only has the paper been found, but the person has been found as well. I have found a master orchid grower for you."
"Really?" Wen Hui was delighted and asked, "Who is he?"
"Please sit down first and listen to me slowly."
