"It's better to be young."
Just as he was sighing, he saw Lou Yunchun riding a horse from the street corner. Then he thought that the present was not bad. Although the years of youth were green, the long-lasting love was more heartwarming.
Lou Yunchun saw her standing in front of the door from afar, and his heart felt as sweet as if it had been sprinkled with a spoonful of honey. He let go of the reins and trotted to the door of the bookstore. He jumped off his horse, and in three or two steps he was in front of Xu Jiang, looking at her with a smile on his face.
"Waiting for me?"
Xu Jiang had a malicious thought, "No, I just sent away the new helper."
Lou Yunchun lowered the corner of his lip, looked back, but did not see the helper who was paid 5,000 coins.
"Don't look at it, it's already gone far away."
"You've gone far away, why are you still standing here?"
"Let's see what the wind is blowing today."
"What wind is blowing?"
"There's no wind today." Xu Jiang's eyes curved, "The moon is shining today."
Lou Yunchun turned around to hold the horse, leaving Xu Jiang with a red neck. Xu Jiang laughed out loud, and seeing that the general was annoyed by his laughter, she chased after him to coax him.
While coaxing him, I thought, see, adults have their own joys.
After leading the horse into the backyard, Lou Yunchun took a bamboo basket from the horse's back and handed it to Xu Jiang. Xu Jiang opened it and saw that it was a basket of wormwood, which was green and lush and very attractive.
After a long, cold winter, I suddenly saw a basket of spring, and all the heaviness in my body disappeared, and I felt light and airy.
"Where are you from?"
"I picked them from Ziran Xuan. My father grows a lot of them and uses them in food and medicine." He said, as if to take credit, "This is the first crop and the tenderest."
Xu Jiang flipped the leaves over and found them tender and fresh. The best time to use Artemisia capillaris for food is when it's still young and fresh. At this stage, it has a pleasant aroma and a refreshing taste, and can be eaten with salads, added to soups, stir-fried, or used to make tea. Once the leaves have grown white and stringy, with a bitter taste, they're only suitable for medicinal use, not for food.
"How would you like to eat?"
"All good."
When it comes to food, Lou Yunchun doesn't have much idea, and usually eats whatever Xu Jiang cooks.
"This basket is quite a lot, and we can't leave it alone. If we leave it alone, it will become stale, bitter, and inedible. Since there are so many, how about we just make a small spring feast?"
"A small spring banquet?" It sounded interesting. Lou Yunchun nodded with a smile, "Okay."
"Then you cut the ingredients and feed the horses and donkeys, and I'll go make a fire."
"Go ahead."
The moonlight is dim, the lights are friendly, and the four-tile and five-house houses are filled with the aroma of food.
Lou Yunchun poured the fodder into the stone trough, and the donkey immediately rushed over to grab the food. The horse was not in a hurry, and waited calmly for the donkey to finish eating before moving forward to chew it slowly.
Lou Yunchun patted its head and praised, "Good horse."
Seeing this, the donkey also put its head under his hand. Lou Yunchun paused and touched its head, "Stupid donkey."
Xu Jiang was used to calling it a stupid donkey, so it knew it was not a nice thing to say and opened its mouth to bite, but it didn't expect Lou Yunchun to grab its lips.
"Zhaoyue." Xu Jiang poked her head out of the kitchen. "The firewood is all burned."
"I understand." Lou Yunchun quickly let go.
The stupid donkey shook his head and snorted, this is not a good thing either!
"You bastard!"
In Ziranxuan, Lou Jing was holding a basket and looking at the bare herb garden, blowing his beard in anger.
Such a large piece of fresh Artemisia argyi was stripped away until only the stumps were left. It was obvious who did it!
