Ning Yao and Ning Ze’s henchmen in the capital, had long been executed after their crimes were exposed. They escaped death, but the accomplices locked in the sky prison were not so fortunate, most of them were taken to the vegetable market for public execution.
So, when the siblings Ning Yao and Ning Ze left Prince Rui’an’s residence, there were no underlings to meet them.
Ning Ze looked anxious and pale, "Sister, how do we go back?"

After saying that, she firmly pulled Ning Ze and got into the carriage.

Ning Yao couldn’t pull him, so she said to Fen Ling, "Could you, Master Feng, toss my brother up here?"

Ning Yao let down the carriage curtain, blocking Zhang Wan’s puzzled gaze. She turned and took her brother’s hand, "What are you afraid of? Aren’t you just fine?"
Ning Ze was on the verge of tears, "Sister, why?"
Ning Yao patted him and said in his ear, "I’m protecting you. I betrayed Yan Li and Yan Lin for your sake. Do you think they’ll let us go?"
Ning Ze’s voice stopped startlingly and didn’t resist anymore.
After taking the siblings with him, Fen Ling smiled amiably at Zhang Wan. "Princess Consort of the Second Prince, it seems that the Ning siblings like me a lot, that’s why they decided to go with me."
Zhang Wan was speechless.

Could it be that the Second Prince’s suspicion was correct? Were the charges against Yan Li all revealed by her? Then how much does she know about things the Second Prince had done? How much had she revealed? Did the Crown Prince not take advantage of this case to deal with the Second Prince? Or did Ning Yao not reveal anything about the Second Prince? Or did the Crown Prince intentionally withhold, to settle accounts in the future?
She couldn’t understand. It was such a good opportunity to bring down two princes at once. If the Crown Prince had evidence against the Second Prince, would he not reveal it?
She couldn’t make sense of it, and ordered the coachman, "Let’s go, back to the mansion."
The coachman turned the horse’s head and headed towards the Second Prince’s residence.
The Crown Prince’s residence had already been sealed off with yellow tape. Yan Li stood outside the residence, still unable to accept the fact that he was no longer the lofty Crown Prince, but a mere commoner, whom he sometimes couldn’t even be bothered to look at when walking in the streets.
"Brother!" Yan Lin saw his utterly dejected and doubtful brother as soon as he arrived at the Crown Prince’s residence.
