impersonation

"Let's go check out that little mountain village. Maybe we'll find something."

Song Ning had a bad feeling that Grandma Sun might have taken the child to the mountains.

The two rode for almost an hour to reach the small mountain village.

Sure enough, they ran into Granny Sun right in front of them.

"Aunt Sun, what are you doing here? Where's the child?"

"I couldn't sleep, so I came out for a walk. Aren't the kids home?"

Grandma Sun's eyes darted around.

She thought that since she had gotten away with it, no one should know.

Grandma Sun suddenly felt flustered and began to speak evasively.

"Aunt Sun, where did you hide the child? Child trafficking is illegal. Do you know what the consequences will be if Company Commander Liu finds out?"

Song Ning began to press her relentlessly.

Grandma Sun remained defiant, pushing them away and running away, saying, "I don't know what you're talking about."

Seeing that Aunt Sun wasn't telling the truth, Song Ning had no choice but to take Huo Beian and continue inquiring in the mountain village.

Sure enough, when she reached an alley, she heard a child crying.

There were also sounds of people cursing and swearing.

"Why are you crying?"

"Could it be this one?"

"It's possible. I just saw that Aunt Sun came out of this alley. Let's go in and take a look."
