This was Song Ning's first time seeing a school playground from the 1970s. The playground was very rudimentary, with the running track made of rammed earth. There were only two horizontal bars and parallel bars, and no other sports equipment.
The so-called platform was nothing more than a platform made of bricks, without any sunshade or roof. It was just a brick platform with a wall on top.
It was very shabby and couldn't compare to the modern plastic running track and field.
The backdrop of the rostrum was painted a striking red, with a slogan written in white: "Develop sports and improve the people's physique."
On the platform, there was a large handheld megaphone, a table, and a chair.
Meanwhile, the playground below the stage was already filled with elementary school students, all of whom had brought their own stools and had innocent faces.
Teacher Yang began by saying, "Classmates, let's give a warm round of applause to welcome the author of 'Calabash Brothers vs. Transformers': Sour Lemon."
Soon, enthusiastic applause erupted from the audience.
Soon, Song Ning, filled with excitement, sat on the stage and began to tell the children some of the stories behind the creation of this comic book.
After speaking for about 20 minutes, it was time for the students to ask questions.
A little child reached out his hand and asked, "Hello, Auntie, in your story, can the Calabash Brothers really defeat the Transformers in the end? The Transformers are so powerful, but the Calabash Brothers are just country kids."
"Yes, Auntie, we want to ask that too."
Song Xue has finally been arrested. Justice may be delayed, but it will surely come. This is truly gratifying.
Thank you all for your votes! I saw them all, and I was especially touched to see some of you give 10 or 20 recommendation votes – that's practically giving all your votes to this book! I will definitely work hard to write a satisfying ending and live up to your support.
