Shi Yi glanced at the vote count. Currently, boxed lunches and braised dishes were leading the other two categories, with braised dishes seemingly having a hundred more votes, though the difference wasn't significant.
It's probably due to the vote-getting efforts of young people; the numbers are still rising.
The stalls are refreshed at 8:30 pm.
When Shi Yi took a look, the new car was still flashy, except that the back seats were enclosed.
Inside the door is a barbecue grill, and there's another door at the back.
It should be for convenient storage of ingredients, with all the ingredients placed at the back to prevent spoilage.
Shi Yi opened the door, and a cool breeze came out.
Her guess was correct.
It looked like a refrigerator inside, with boxes of food already stored there.
No problem, Shi Yi started to go out.
Today's task is daunting, and she dares not post a preview online. What if there's already a huge crowd waiting in line before she even arrives? That would be too much pressure.
She has to learn step by step, at least by baking a few different kinds first.
We arrived at the resort at nine o'clock.
Shi Yi carried down the barbecue tools one by one.
Portable folding grills, charcoal stoves, fish grilling net clips, harpoons, compatible grilling nets, food tongs, barbecue spatulas, brushes, wire brushes, high-temperature resistant gloves, portable coolers, fish grilling pans, etc.
And various seasonings and side dishes.
She moved slowly, but fortunately there weren't many people around; only a few people were peeking out from outside.
After watching for a while, seeing that Shi Yi hadn't finished yet, he shook his head and left.
Shi Yi fiddled with it for a while before finally getting it working.
This was my first time doing it in person, so my skills were a bit rusty. Even though I had practiced it in my mind several times, it was still quite troublesome when I actually did it.
There was too much stuff, so she had to carry some ingredients downstairs.
One box of meat, one box of vegetables, and one box of grilled fish—that's all for now.
With everything ready, Shi Yi began grilling.
Regardless of whether anyone comes, she just starts grilling and lets diners take what she's grilled—a self-service barbecue.
Simple!
Otherwise, she wouldn't have time to have each person take their order.
She simply picked up a skewer and started grilling.
The aroma gradually wafted out from the grill.
Shi Yi smelled the aroma and couldn't resist wanting to eat a skewer, but unfortunately it wasn't cooked yet.
Isn't it said to be easy to master?
Why can't she just put it on the grill and it be cooked with a ding?
Isn't that what food-themed games are all about? Why isn't hers?
It hasn't been baked for five minutes yet.
Not far away, Song Yan and her best friend Lin Wan, who had just finished tidying up at the hotel, were strolling around the resort.
The two arrived late and hadn't eaten anything, so they were getting hungry and were thinking of going out to find something to eat.
"There's a fried chicken shop over there, shall we go there?" Song Yan pointed to the fried chicken shop, which was packed with people.
"Aren't there too many people?"
"There's nothing we can do. There are only a few restaurants in this resort, and the other restaurants are also quite crowded."
"Alright, these are the best conditions we can offer here. If we ask for anything more, we'll probably go out of business."
There are hardly any customers normally, so it's already good that there are a few shops here now.
The two of them started walking towards the fried chicken shop.
Suddenly, Lin Wan smelled a fragrance.
"I think I smell barbecue! It smells so good!"
"I think I can smell it too." Song Yan paused, her nose starting to sniff around.
Is there a barbecue area nearby?
Lin Wan: "It seems so, but it was a long time ago. I heard that the food was so bad that the owner was scolded and stopped making it."
"Could it be that someone else came and grilled it?"
It smells so good; both of them were tempted to go and investigate. (This chapter has been completed. Please click to continue reading the next chapter!)
