While shouting:
School's out!
"Let's go home, let's go home."
Their faces were beaming with excitement; getting out of school was definitely their favorite thing.
Shi Yi randomly picked a spot to get off the bus and prepared to start grilling sausages.
As soon as Shi Yi got out of the car, she was stunned.
What about a sausage grilling machine?
Why is there such a big piece of iron plate on the stall?
She drove off as soon as the car was updated, without even looking at the back seat. Now that she looks, she's stunned.
Shouldn't the sausage grill machine be the kind she saw online, with all sorts of grooves?
Why don't you just give her a board?
It's not like teppanyaki.
I feel like the tips I learned last night were a waste of time; they weren't what I expected.
Judging from this, I guess they'll just add some oil and start frying.
Wait, is this still a grilled sausage?
Shi Yi is still a bit at a loss as to where to start.
But there was no time; the children were almost at the street.
She had to use scents to lure them over.
Otherwise, how can we open for business today?
Shi Yi dared not hesitate any longer, turned on the fire, added oil, and after the oil was hot, opened the box and took out a large handful of starch sausages and put them on.
The oil was sizzling, but thankfully it didn't splatter. The heat seemed quite intense; the starch sausages that had just been placed on the grill started to turn yellow in no time. I estimate they'll be cooked in another two minutes.
Everything was proceeding in an orderly manner, and Shi Yi's anxiety finally subsided.
This looks like a deep-fried starch sausage, not at all like a grilled sausage.
Shi Yi had a feeling that things were going to go wrong today.
Three minutes later, the crust had already hardened a bit. Luckily, Shi Yi kept flipping and rolling it, otherwise it would have burned.
Not far away.
"I only have two yuan left in my pocket, what should I buy to eat?"
"How about we just buy a takoyaki?"
A boy was muttering to himself as we walked past the food street.
Shi Yi happened to overhear this.
"Little friend, would you like to buy a grilled sausage to try?"
She wanted to place an order; several sausages were cooked but would lose their flavor if left to cool.
The little boy looked at her when he heard the sound and sniffed.
"It smells delicious," he said as he walked over, then pointed to the sausages on the grill, "but you've burned them all."
Shi Yi: "......"
"It was an accident, it was an accident, it's okay. Would you like to buy one to try? I'll give you one that's not so burnt."
Shi Yi leaned down slightly and smiled at him.
The little boy hesitated for a full minute, then looked at the cat head that had popped out from the seat in front of him, his eyes lit up, and he finally nodded.
"Meow!"
Little Lucky Cat suddenly meowed at him.
Seeing this, the boy grinned and turned to say, "Want one? It's two yuan, right?"
He looked at the price list hanging on the car.
[Starch sausage: 2 yuan each.]
Shi Yi: "Yes."
The little boy took out a one-yuan note from his pocket, and then another one-yuan note.
Feeling a little embarrassed by its wrinkles, I smoothed it out a bit before handing it to Shi Yi.
"for you."
Shi Yi took it. "Okay, thank you, little one. Should I eat it directly or put it in a bag to take home?"
"Just eat it."
He packed it up and took it home, but his parents saw it and wouldn't let him eat it.
Okay~
Shi Yi took out a skewer, skewered the food, and handed it to him, saying, "It's still warm, eat carefully."
"Um."
The little boy took it and walked to the little lucky charm in the front seat of the car.
I stood there and played with the kitten for a while.
He stared at the slightly burnt starch sausage for a few seconds, his brow furrowed as if making a crucial decision, before finally blowing on it and taking a small bite from the top. (This chapter has been read. Please click to continue reading the next chapter!)
