Chapter 14 Minced Meat and Eggplant - Part 1 (2/2)

"Whose lunchbox is this?"

Mr. Du held up a boxed lunch and asked the people in the office area.

Qin Zhipeng raised his hand tremblingly, "My... Mr. Du, what's wrong?"

"Oh, I can't order takeout during mealtimes, the restaurants are too crowded. Did you buy this meal? Have you eaten it? If not, could you sell it to me?"

As he spoke, Mr. Du's stomach began to rumble.

It's understandable that Qin Zhipeng wouldn't give it to him now, especially since he's the boss.

"I've already eaten. Mr. Du, if you're hungry, you can have this." Qin Zhipeng said these words with a heavy heart, feeling tears welling up inside.

Eggplant with minced meat - 1.

Remaining boxed meals u003d0.

He won't get a boxed meal tonight.

"Okay, thanks." Mr. Du left with his boxed lunch, and before leaving, he transferred a 30 yuan red envelope to Qin Zhipeng.

Twenty minutes later, Qin Zhipeng received a message from General Manager Du.

[Manager Du: Xiao Qin, where did you buy this lunchbox?]

Qin Zhipeng's heart skipped a beat when he received the news.

[Qin Zhipeng: What's wrong, Mr. Du? Is there something wrong with the boxed lunches?]

[Mr. Du: No problem. Buy me one, no, two portions tomorrow. You can choose the vegetables; I'm not picky.]

Qin Zhipeng: ......

Qin Zhipeng: Yes, Mr. Du.

Qin Zhipeng had just put down his phone when Li Lan sent him a message.

[Li Lan: Brother Qin, how much is this lunchbox? I'll transfer the money to you.]

Qin Zhipeng: Ten yuan.

[Wishing you prosperity and good fortune] - Red envelope.

[Li Lan: Brother Qin, where did you buy this lunchbox?]

Qin Zhipeng: He knew it!

Anyone who's tried this meal will definitely want to eat it again, and it turns out he wasn't the only one who was so greedy.

[Qin Zhipeng: It's nearby. The vendor's location isn't fixed; you might see it if you wander around a bit after work at lunchtime or in the afternoon.]

Li Lan pursed her lips upon receiving the reply.

The stall location isn't fixed? Doesn't that mean you have to rely on luck to buy anything?

Will she be able to eat it tomorrow?

Looking at the empty lunchbox on the table, Li Lan began to worry.

Why does this lunchbox taste so good? Is it because I've been dieting too hard lately? That's why these carbs taste especially delicious. I can even control myself from eating fried chicken, but I can't resist a lunchbox.

What's the logic behind this?

At 6 p.m., Li Lan left the building after get off work and strolled around several office buildings following the message sent by Qin Zhipeng.

I didn't see anyone selling boxed lunches.

There are plenty of vendors selling chicken frames, duck frames, and starch sausages; there's a small stall every ten meters.

But what she's looking for is a boxed lunch!

"Wasn't it supposed to be around here? Where is it?" Li Lan craned her neck to look left and right, and accidentally bumped into something.

I stumbled and almost fell.

"Brother Qin? You haven't gone back yet?"

Li Lan took the initiative.

Judging from Qin Zhipeng's expression, he seems to be looking for something as well, otherwise he wouldn't have missed the person.

Qin Zhipeng scratched his head sheepishly, "Soon."

"Brother Qin, you're actually here to see that guy who sells boxed lunches, right?"

Li Lan joked.

Little did she know that Qin Zhipeng had given one of the two boxed lunches he brought back at noon to her and the other to President Du, leaving him with none.

Qin Zhipeng smiled. "Yes, you are too?"

"Yes, but I can't find him. Did you find him?" Li Lan spread her hands, admitting it frankly, a little helpless. She had searched everywhere but still couldn't find him. (This chapter has been read. Please click the next chapter to continue reading!)
