Chapter 23 King Crab (1/2)

"Young lady, my grandson is starving, could I buy two portions first?"

Just as Shi Yi was about to speak, a man with a rough voice stepped forward.

"If you're really hungry, go eat somewhere else. What's wrong with cutting in line?"

A towering 1.9 meters tall, coupled with a body full of muscles, inevitably makes people feel a little intimidated.

The old lady was startled by him, but then she began to take it for granted.

"What's wrong? The child is hungry. Can't I just buy two boxed lunches? You adults are arguing with a child. Have you no shame?"

"Who's shameless? What's wrong with a child? Even a child has to line up obediently."

"Exactly! I've been waiting in line for so long, why should I let you cut in line!"

More and more people are joining the conflict.

Shi Yi also spoke up: "Those who want to buy boxed lunches should line up; I don't accept queue jumping here."

She pulled the girl who had been dragged away back.

What kind of boxed lunch do you want to buy?

The girl was quite frightened; the old lady's loud voice had been yelling right next to them.

"I'd like a king crab." The girl glanced at the three people, then took out her phone to scan the QR code.

"Okay." Shi Yi packed it for her.

"Grandma, I want king crab!"

"I want one too."

The two boys started shouting again.

The girl took the lunchbox and proudly waved it in front of the two of them.

As she passed by, she muttered under her breath, "Can't get any, can't get any, hmph."

"Aaaaaah!"

The two of them started wailing and howling again.

"What's wrong with selling us only two portions? There are so many more left on this truck!"

The old lady was at her wit's end. "If all else fails, one serving will do."

Shi Yi ignored him and moved on to the next person.

"Grandma, everyone has been queuing for so long, and there are so many people behind us. If we let you cut in line, the people behind us will make a fuss."

"Exactly, you can't expect the boss to make things convenient for you alone, while offending so many other people, can you?"

"......"

With so many mouths to feed, the old lady realized she couldn't argue with them, so she had no choice but to drag her two grandsons away by force.

At the end of the line, there were two more children.

"Mom, it smells so good over there, can I eat some?"

The little girl shook her mother's hand.

“It looks like they’re selling boxed lunches, Mom. Isn’t this the video you saw before? Do you want to try it?” the little boy on the other end said.

"Really? I'd really like to try it."

"Mom, you take my sister to line up first, I'll go see how many boxed lunches are left," the little boy said.

Okay~

The woman and her little girl stood at the end of the line.

The little boy ran ahead.

After a while, he hurriedly ran back.

"Mom, I asked the shop owner. Each person is limited to two orders, and there are still plenty left. We can get some."

"That's great. You two go wait in that shady spot for a while, Mom will just wait in line."

The little boy glanced at his mother and then at his sister, and said, "Okay, sister, let's go. We're blocking other people's way if we stand there."

"Okay, brother."

The little boy added, "Mom, please hold the umbrella yourself. The sun is too strong; be careful not to get a headache from the sun."

Okay~

The woman touched his little face.

The two little ones held hands and walked to the tree next to them.

"How did you raise your child? He's so well-behaved!"

"Yeah, those two gave me a headache, but yours is so well-behaved."
