"You can't say that. If we hadn't told the people in your other groups, how could you have found us so quickly?"
"You should have said so earlier. Many people have to go to work and can't even get food."
"We actually discovered it not early enough. Everyone here now is someone who isn't working today. Of those who are working, only a few people managed to get a meal."
"..."
The two groups suddenly started arguing on the spot, and Shi Yi had to speak up to maintain order.
"Alright, alright, stop arguing. It's not like we're only selling it for one day."
"Those who want to buy, hurry up, I'm leaving at ten o'clock."
Once it reaches 10 o'clock, the ingredients for hand-pulled pancakes will stop refreshing.
She got up late today and came out a little late. She sold a batch of hand-pulled pancakes, and it's almost 9:30 now.
She'll be leaving in half an hour.
"Huh? Ten o'clock? So fast? I just got here."
"There are still a lot of people in the group saying they want to come and eat, but should I tell them they don't need to come? They probably won't make it in time."
"Boss Shi, I'd like three orders of original flavor scallion pancakes!"
"Brother, you're not leaving any way for the people behind you to survive!"
"No, if you want three servings, then I want three servings too, for lunch!"
"I want four servings! My friends asked me to buy them for them. They haven't tried the food the owner sells before, so they have to have a taste."
Shi Yi was completely baffled.
There were only about ten people in front of them, but each of them asked for three or four portions, which was outrageous.
"Then I want 6—"
Shi Yi suddenly spoke up: "Stop! It's almost ten o'clock now. If you each take that many portions, there won't be any left later."
"Ah, okay, then I'll take two portions, and leave some for the others."
"Boss Shi, why don't you prepare more? You could sell them until noon, since these scallion pancakes are so delicious." A person who had just finished eating approached the car and looked at the scallion pancakes that Shi Yi was cutting.
I'm craving it again.
He only ate one serving, which wasn't enough for him. He doesn't know if he'll be able to get a turn in the queue.
Shi Yi didn't have time to answer him. If he didn't hurry up, all ten of them would have to wait in line for nothing.
Luckily, she had just drunk an energy drink, so she was still quite efficient. She even increased the heat, and the frying speed was pretty fast.
"If you're packing it up, you'll have to tear off your own plastic bag. I don't have time."
If she spends a little more time packing the plastic bags, she really won't have enough time.
She was working as fast as she could so that the last person could eat.
Two portions are still fried at the same time.
"Okay, okay, Mr. Shi, we can pack it ourselves."
"I'll do it, I've finished eating. I'm just killing time anyway. Boss Shi, let me help you. Just put the paper bag with the scallion pancakes here, and I'll pack it up for them."
Shi Yi: "Okay, thanks."
"It's nothing, don't be shy, it's no big deal!"
The man patted his chest, his face showing an expression of complete trust in me.
It's just packing it in a bag, that's easy. It's an honor for Boss Shi to serve him!
And the scallion pancake smells so good! Standing next to it is a real treat. The owner even turned on the fan with its oscillating function, and the cool breeze was so refreshing.
Strangely, standing next to this stall, there was no smell of smoke at all, only a pleasant fragrance. I wonder what extra features the owner added to this stall.
Could it be that there's something like a range hood on top?
He looked up and saw that there was nothing there, just a piece of iron plate.
Forget it, he doesn't understand these things, let's just pack it up safely.
Occasionally, when he saw she was too busy, he would help her get the dough and tear off the thin film. (This chapter has been read. Please click to continue reading the next chapter!)
