Chapter 6 Major Clients (1/2)

"What's there to be afraid of in a ten-yuan boxed lunch, young lady? Give me one."

"Just give me some scrambled eggs with tomatoes. I want to see if it's the rotten tomatoes and rotten eggs he was talking about." With that, he readily took out his phone to scan the QR code.

Shi Yi: "...Absolutely not, sir, don't worry, this lunchbox of mine is ready for testing."

After receiving the money, she took out a boxed lunch and handed it to him.

"Here you go, and here's a bottle of water. Take it, sir. Thank you for your patronage."

The old man waved his hand, found a stone stool to sit on, and began to open the box.

The group just stared at his movements.

As soon as the lunchbox was opened, the fragrant aroma of tomatoes and eggs wafted out, and the lunchbox was packed with food, making many people's eyes light up.

"So many eggs? This girl is really generous."

"She's obviously a newbie. Ten yuan and so much food. She'll probably lose money and cry."

"Uncle Tan, how is it? Is this boxed lunch delicious? Does it taste strange?"

Grandpa Tan shoveled a big mouthful of food into his mouth and mumbled, "It's delicious! The eggs are so tender, and the tomatoes are so fragrant."

The eggs looked like they were just laid this morning, and the tomatoes looked like they were picked today. Having eaten these dishes for so many years, he could more or less make a judgment; they definitely hadn't been sitting out for too long.

Vegetables that have been left out for a long time not only lose their aroma but also taste bad.

This tastes amazing!

He finished his meal in no time and couldn't help but praise again, "Not bad, young lady, this food is excellent."

He even wanted a second serving.

I decided to restrain myself, and the doctor recently advised me to eat less.

That was the only option. Grandpa Tan wiped his mouth, picked up a glass of water and took a sip; the aroma of the food still lingered in his mouth.

Delicious, absolutely delicious!

"Eat, eat, eat! You dare to eat this? Be careful someone ends up in the hospital tonight." Old Li turned and left leisurely, his hands behind his back.

He wouldn't eat a ten-yuan boxed lunch, no matter how fragrant or delicious it was; he was just waiting to receive the news that Lao Tan was going to the hospital the next day.

At his age, he dares to try anything and isn't afraid of risking his life.

Old Li opened the car early in the morning, and several people immediately surrounded Grandpa Tan.

"Old Tan, I think Old Li has a point. Aren't you worried that eating like this might cause something serious to happen?"

"Yeah, Lao Tan, how good can a ten-yuan boxed lunch be? You don't have to say that just to save face, do you?"

Upon hearing this, Old Tan nearly flew into a rage. "I, Old Tan, have lived for over sixty years. Do you think I can't tell the difference between good and bad things? What is face? When have I ever cared about that?"

"If you don't believe me, go and try it yourselves. You're treating this young woman like this because she's trying to do her business well. You guys have no conscience at all."

Grandpa Tan gave the person who had just spoken a few disdainful looks.

"Why are you bringing up conscience? We were just saying a few words casually, why are you getting so angry?"

"......"

Grandpa Tan was too lazy to argue with them and walked straight to Shi Yi.

"Young lady, please pack one for me. I'll take it back for my grandson. His eating habits are irregular; he eats several meals a day. He'll probably be hungry soon, so I'm bringing it back for him so he won't order those bad takeout meals again."

"Okay." Shi Yi quickly packed it up for him.

Li Fengjuan and Yu Mei looked at it for a while. The lunchbox smelled delicious and looked good. Even Lao Tan praised it highly, so it must be really good.

However, they weren't hungry at that time, so they didn't buy anything to try and turned to dancing instead.
