Chapter 9 Everyone who's tried it says it's great (2/2)

The restaurant next door never really suited his taste; it was too oily and salty, and he had to drink a lot of water after each meal. Most of the time, he preferred to eat somewhere further away.

Right now, all I can think about is the boxed lunch, so naturally I don't want to eat it anymore.

I think I'll just go back and eat instant noodles.

I hope that boss will come to his place tomorrow, although the chances seem slim.

Sigh, I didn't promote it enough. Otherwise, if I had sold a few more copies here that day, the boss wouldn't have stopped coming.

He told the person in the same city that if he saw the owner selling boxed lunches there again tomorrow, he should let him know.

He'll definitely rush over there immediately. Two hours should be enough for a round trip, so it doesn't matter if he misses his lunch break.

On the other side, Shi Yi, whose mealtime had already passed, was riding her tricycle around.

She sold 30 servings in one afternoon, thanks in large part to those people who were promoting it for her.

If you bring your boss and friends, let them buy some to try. They even bought an extra portion to keep for dinner.

During this time, some people felt that she looked familiar.

Upon hearing this, Shi Yi's heart skipped a beat. It wasn't that she was worried about being recognized, but she didn't expect it to happen so quickly.

It seems to be quite popular lately.

The small tricycle kept wandering around the city center, occasionally managing to sell one or two portions.

Six o'clock in the afternoon, the evening rush hour.

Shi Yi had already selected a new office building and was waiting.

Qin Zhipeng, who was starving after just leaving the office building, almost fainted at the building entrance.

He was starving, so incredibly hungry. He hadn't had much of an appetite at lunchtime and had only eaten a couple of bites. He never imagined he'd almost starved to death. Right now, his head was spinning.

I had no energy at all, and all I could think about was eating.

Just as I was about to walk toward the convenience store next door, a fragrant aroma suddenly wafted to my nose.

"Which restaurant is serving this food? It smells so good!" Qin Zhipeng looked around, trying to pinpoint the source of the aroma. There were a few restaurants downstairs, but he had already blocked them all.

One reason—to put it mildly: it doesn't suit my taste; to put it bluntly: it doesn't taste good.

He's a picky eater, so his lunch was so bad that he only managed two bites, which is why he's so hungry now.

But there was no other way; if he didn't eat, he was worried he would faint while walking.

So, Qin Zhipeng reluctantly walked toward one of the restaurants.

Maybe the aroma is coming from this restaurant? They might have changed chefs.

But after taking only a few steps, he heard a loudspeaker blaring from not far away.

"A boxed lunch, ten yuan a box, fragrant tomato and egg stir-fry, it goes perfectly with rice!"

"And there's also delicious stir-fried carrots with pork; you're guaranteed to love it after just one bite!"

Yes! That's exactly the taste of those two dishes.

He smelled it carefully again, becoming even more certain of his thoughts.

A ten-yuan boxed lunch? It smells so good!

That's definitely worth a try. You know, he loves trying new things and believes in never missing out on any delicious food.

Qin Zhipeng, who was just a few steps away from the restaurant, turned around and walked back towards the source of the loudspeaker.

Upon closer inspection, it turned out to be just a simple little tricycle stall with boxed lunches placed on the back.

Some of the top floor has already been sold, but it seems there's still a lot left on the bottom.

Business doesn't seem to be doing very well.

Would you like to try one?

Seeing the hesitation on his face, Shi Yi took the initiative to ask.

"It's delicious; everyone who's tried it says it's great."

She wasn't lying; everyone really says it's delicious.

One serving, please!

Qin Zhipeng waved his hand dismissively, "Never mind, it smells so good, it'd be a shame not to try it." (This chapter has been read. Please click to continue reading the next chapter!)
