Chapter 96 Giving Up First Place (2/2)

Shi Yi tore off a bag, "Take whatever flavor you want, I'll pack it for you."

"I'll help you, Boss Shi." Cheng Kai suddenly seemed like a different person, enthusiastically taking the bag from Shi Yi's hand.

"No need, I just like the feeling of setting up a stall." Shi Yi declined his offer.

"Oh? Sorry, Mr. Shi."

His original intention was to let Boss Shi sit down and rest, but he forgot that Boss Shi seemed to be very enthusiastic about his street vending business.

Cheng Kai silently stepped aside.

I dare not bother Shi Yi any longer.

"We can buy a total of 18 servings of braised food. Everyone can choose what they like."

The three girls started picking things out at the stall.

"Want some spicy?"

"Forget it, it's too spicy. I don't think many people can handle this much spice."

"Then I'll have the classic spicy one."

"This all-meat dish looks incredibly tempting; I'll have to get two more servings."

"The vegetarian option is also good."

"Wow, this box has so many shrimp balls! I'll take it!"

"I love this giant squid! I can't live with myself if I don't eat squid from an assassin, so I'll take it!"

The group discussed and selected braised dishes as they went.

Box after box were packed into bags.

The three of them were overjoyed; it was like going shopping, and they wanted to buy everything.

A box costs ten yuan, as if it were free, and Kuangkuang stuffs it into the bag.

"18 boxes already."

Shi Yi reminded them that they had already packed three bags, with six boxes in each bag.

"Huh? You've already made 18 boxes so quickly?"

"There are so many other things I want to eat, I really want this box full of duck frames."

"Sigh, that's enough, that's enough. There are 18 boxes. We can eat our fill tonight."

Seeing that they were about to pay, Shi Yi said, "Each of you pay 100, and the remaining two of you each pay 40."

"Okay, okay." The group did as instructed.

Not long after, his younger sister arrived, and Cheng Kai let her choose several portions to take home.

He stayed behind.

Shi Yi wouldn't let him help, and at first he was a little at a loss, not knowing what to do.

But as more and more people arrived, he went to maintain order and chat with the diners.

As dusk settled, the buzzing of mosquitoes began to fill her ears, and Shi Yi felt a pang of regret.

I forgot to bring mosquito repellent today.

She seems to attract mosquitoes; they just keep coming to her.

"Boss Shi, there's a huge mosquito on your arm!"

A customer who was choosing braised food pointed at Shi Yi's arm.

Shi Yi quickly took a look and saw that the mosquito had eaten its fill, its belly was bulging and full of blood.

She immediately grabbed a tissue and slapped it down, revealing a large patch of blood on her arm.

She wiped it several times with disgust, and then a bump started to bulge out in that spot, getting bigger and bigger. Shi Yi was speechless.

"I'm back. I bought some mosquito repellent and mosquito coils. Please make do with these for now." Cheng Kai jogged over. "Boss Shi, there are so many mosquitoes here. Please light a mosquito coil here."

He opened the mosquito coil box, took out a lighter, lit it, and placed it next to Shi Yi.

Seeing the large bump on Shi Yi's arm, he hurriedly pulled a bottle out of the big bag he had bought. "This bottle seems to be able to relieve the itching. Mr. Shi, why don't you try it?"

"good."

Shi Yi didn't refuse; the big bump on her arm was really itchy, and she had scratched it until it turned red.

After spraying it on, it felt cool and refreshing, and the itching was greatly reduced.

"Thank you, Cheng Kai."

Cheng Kai had already gone to the back to spray floral water on the diners. Hearing Shi Yi's thanks, he waved his hand and said, "It's nothing!" (This chapter has been read. Please click the next chapter to continue reading!)
