Chapter 33 You're right (2/2)

Shi Yi: "Come on, but I guess there will be purchase limits then."

She can't fit too much in her car.

It seems I still need to find some fabric to cover it up a bit, so she can sneak in a few extra boxes every now and then.

Upon hearing about the purchase limit, the people behind finally stopped arguing.

"Purchase restrictions are good; without them, you simply couldn't buy them later."

"I never thought we'd end up like those people who were fighting over boxed lunches."

"Before, there were purchase limits on boxed meals, and now there are purchase limits on cakes too. Boss Shi, your business is doing so well, everyone is scrambling to buy them."

The owner of the chicken rack shop next door was also stunned.

He watched the line stretch on and on all night, and he was so envious.

However, quite a few people later bought his chicken frames.

Thanks to Shi Yi, the last few chicken frames were sold out.

He even regretted not preparing more.

Sure enough, the cake was sold out, and many people who couldn't buy one went to buy food from the side.

Unfortunately, he was out of stock.

I feel like I missed out on a fortune.

"Hey, Boss Shi, you're coming again tomorrow, right?"

He asked Shi Yi, who was packing her things to leave.

Shi Yi paused what she was doing, saw that it was the owner of the chicken racks next door, and replied, "Coming."

The chicken frames he sells are pretty good; I wonder if they'll be available in later levels.

If it were available, it would definitely sell very well.

Fried chicken is a popular food, and many people love to eat it.

The chicken rack owner felt a little worried when he heard this.

Should he prepare more, less, or just the amount he needs today?

He had just heard Shi Yi say that he would prepare more cakes tomorrow, so that everyone would be able to buy them. Since everyone could buy them, there probably wouldn't be many people buying his chicken frames.

Just now, I guess someone who was in line got hungry and happened to get to his stall, so they bought some food.

I'm worried; I still don't know how to prepare.

When I looked up, Shi Yi had already driven away.

He should have left long ago; he's been watching the spectacle for so long.

Why don't I try her cake tomorrow and see just how delicious it is?

If possible, he could discuss it with his wife and suggest that she also sell cakes, since it's her old skill anyway.

He just found out some information. This boss sold boxed lunches last week, but switched to selling cakes after only one week. Maybe he'll switch to something else next week. When that happens, wouldn't it be perfect to have his wife sell cakes?

I'll buy one for my wife to try tomorrow and see if she can make it.

Cakes are just like any other cake.

He glanced at it just now; there wasn't much of a fancy arrangement, just a few pieces of fruit.

It couldn't be simpler.

Thinking this, he was overjoyed and wanted to go back immediately to discuss important plans with his wife.

——

Before the tricycle even reached the villa's entrance, Wen Xingnian was seen standing in front of Shiyi Villa.

She stopped the car.

"What's wrong? Why aren't you home so late? Is something the matter?"

Shi Yi bent down to look at her.

Wen Xingnian avoided eye contact and stammered, "Boss sister, I, I want to eat cake again tomorrow."

Shi Yi knew that this was her plan. As soon as the car stopped, her eyes were looking at the back seat, and her little scheme was revealed in her eyes.

Shi Yi gently stroked her hair, her voice tender, "We'll have to ask your family first. Besides, you're still young; you can't eat sweets every day, or you'll ruin your teeth." (This chapter has been read. Please click to continue reading the next chapter!)
