Is it really necessary for so many people to queue up for just a scallion pancake?
There are so many breakfast stalls outside now, could it be that they're all crowding here because of the rain?
The two looked at each other and nodded silently.
"No activities, I'm leaving."
"Hey, wait a minute." The girl who had just answered their two questions called out to them.
"Don't you know Boss Shi?"
"Boss Shi?" the two asked in unison.
"Yes, it's that Boss Shi who's been all the rage online lately, the former minor actress Shi Yi. But that's not the point. The point is that the food she makes and sells is incredibly delicious!"
Now that you mention it, the two of them remembered.
There has indeed been a certain boss who's quite popular lately, but they don't pay much attention to it.
"Alright, I won't say much more, lest I accidentally bring trouble to Boss Shi. But, I'd like to give you a friendly reminder: while Boss Shi is setting up her stall here, buy as many as you can. She might not be selling here again, and then it might be harder to buy them."
"I was just saying. Whether you buy it or not is up to you. It's okay if you don't buy it. Don't misunderstand. This is just my personal opinion. Please don't take it personally. Thank you."
"Oh, it looks like it's almost my turn," the girl muttered as she walked forward.
Is it really that delicious?
"have no idea."
"Want to give it a try?"
"Why not give it a try? I haven't had breakfast anyway."
I was originally planning to just grab some bread to tide me over, but now I figure it wouldn't hurt to give it a try, since it's not work hours yet and I can wait in line for a bit.
The two stepped forward.
"Ten yuan, more expensive than outside."
"But I heard that everything she sells costs ten yuan."
"......"
The two waited in line for more than ten minutes and almost lost their patience. If it weren't for the aroma and the exaggerated expressions of several people eating scallion pancakes, they would have left long ago.
"Boss, one plain one, with salad dressing."
"I'd like a purple sweet potato flavor, with ketchup."
A few minutes later, the two of them held the steaming hot scallion pancakes in their hands.
"It smells really good."
"Let's eat when we get back to the company, we're going to be late."
The two quickly went to take the elevator.
When I got back to the office, I ran into my colleagues chatting about the hand-pulled pancakes downstairs.

The two people carrying scallion pancakes attracted the attention of their colleagues as soon as they entered the room.
What are you two holding in your hands?
"A scallion pancake? Downstairs?"
The two nodded in unison, "Yes, we've never tried it before, we'd like to."
"Try it quickly, I want to know if it's good too. If it's good, I'll sneak downstairs and buy some later."
"Yes, yes, try it! I also want to know if this sudden popularity is due to genuine skill or just a charade."
Everyone looked at the two people at the door with expectant expressions.
The two were caught in a dilemma: neither could they leave, nor could they stay put.
"Alright, alright."
One of them, I just opened it and ate it.
"How is it? Is it delicious?" The person next to her asked before even taking a bite.
The girl didn't say anything, but she had already given a thumbs up.
He swallowed a mouthful before slowly speaking.
