Chapter 169 Cold Chicken Noodles



"No way."

Temperatures in the south are still quite high at the end of September; if it doesn't rain, temperatures are generally in the thirties.

It's arguably the hottest time of summer.

Even at 10 p.m., it's not much cooler because there's not even a breeze.

A bowl of cold noodles for a late-night snack is so comforting.

Lin Zhou mixed a bowl of cold noodles in less than a minute and handed it to Ding Su along with disposable chopsticks.

"Would you like to eat here?"

This week, the cold noodle stall also brought two sets of folding tables and chairs for customers to sit down and eat, which Lin Zhou had just remembered.

This is the first time I've ever eaten at a street stall downstairs from my office building, so I have to commemorate it.

Pick up a mouthful of bright red cold noodles with your chopsticks. It's coated with sauce and still dripping with chili oil. The closer you get, the stronger the sour taste of vinegar becomes. Then, open your mouth wide and take a big bite.

As Ding Su took a big bite of cold noodles, his eyes widened the moment he chewed.

He slurped the noodles into his mouth one bite after another, his mouth wide open.

The more he ate, the more delicious the cold noodles seemed. The side dishes really became side dishes; the noodles themselves were the main attraction.

It's icy cold, smooth and chewy, looks amazing, tastes fantastic, and is simply flawless.

Moreover, the chili oil is spicy but not pungent; it has a smooth spiciness that won't make people unable to swallow even a mouthful of spicy food. Instead, it adds a unique flavor to the food.

A touch of sugar enhances the flavor, makes the chili oil milder, and also helps the vinegar blend very well with the other seasonings.

The crushed peanuts clinging to the noodles elevate the taste of this cold noodle dish to another level. The crispy peanut crumbs, when chewed together, fill the mouth with fragrance.
