Chapter 22 I Love You Forever, God Is My Witness

Until they left, Mattia didn't get to say a word to Rosalia alone because Kaka stayed by her side the whole time, serving tea and water to the ladies, and he didn't interrupt, only speaking when the topic turned to him.

But Kaka just sat next to Rosalia and didn't leave.

Before leaving, Mattia glared at him angrily and said goodbye to Rosalia reluctantly. This was the first time he spoke on his own initiative that day. He didn't even look at Kaka, who was standing at the door to see him off. He said, "Lia, I'll come to see you next time, okay?"

The afternoon sun wasn't too strong, gently enveloping the people standing in front of the door. Just then, a breeze blew by, and Mattia's golden hair drooped, swaying in the wind. His head drooped, his eyelids half-closed, as if he were about to be abandoned.

But in Kaka's eyes, it was a wolf in sheep's clothing, eyeing Leah covetously.

Alarm bells suddenly rang in his mind. He took Mattia's hand before Rosalia did and said, "Of course, but we're moving back home."

As he spoke, Kaka held Rosalia's shoulders—he even changed his hand—and held her in his arms. He looked down at her and said, "Right, dear."

Both men looked at her, waiting for her answer.

Shura Field.

A Shura field full of gunpowder.

"Yes, Mattia, I'm going to move to Kaka's house in a few days, so it might not be very convenient." Rosalia scratched her face awkwardly. She even felt a dull pain in her body, not knowing whether it was from her healed feet or her conscience.

"Let's talk about it at the next party."

I would rather die than let my friend die.

Mattia:?

You weren't like this before! Why did you start acting like a couple after you got together with Kaka?

Mattia glared at Kaka again, suspecting that he had cast some kind of spell on Rosalia, like the one in Harry Potter.

In the end, he left with everyone in hatred, in the same attitude as Kaka's male host.

Seeing that everyone had walked away, Kaka was still smiling and waving at the car exhaust. Rosalia couldn't help but poke him in the waist and asked with a smile, "Are you satisfied? I see you've really pissed off Mattia."

Kaka held her rebellious hand, put it to his mouth and kissed it, saying, "He is still a child."

Hmm, hmm, hmm, I don't know who gave the handle to him, but he insisted on competing with others. Even after winning the game, he still kept chasing after him and kept provoking Mattia.

Rosalia didn't expose him. She looked down at her bandaged foot and changed the subject: "When will this bandage be removed? I don't have any injuries, it's just a sprained ankle, and they're almost putting me in a cast."

She fell because it was too dark when she was chasing the car that day. When she was pulling the child into the police car, she tripped over a stone and happened to hit the tire of the ambulance that was following behind the police car.

This was such an embarrassing thing, and there were cameras recording it! She felt like the sky was falling and the earth was splitting, and she wished she could find a hole to crawl into.

Is that reasonable? The handsome policeman who just showed off his cool car and arrested the suspect, but because of night blindness, he couldn't see the road clearly, tripped over a rock and crashed into his own car. If this gets out to others, the police station next door will laugh to death.

Grayson was so anxious that he was walking around in circles.

Suddenly, he thought of a clever idea. He waved his hand and asked Rosalia to get into the ambulance. He also said, "Help Detective Bianchi get in the car quickly. Didn't you see she was injured in the fight with the criminals? There's an ambulance right there. Let's take her away quickly."

Child driver:?

Who am I fighting?

Even though her injuries were too minor and she needed to pay for an ambulance, Rosalia was more than willing to use the card.

Before the ambulance door closed, she made a gesture of praise to Grayson and said, "No wonder you are the police captain. I support you in killing the captain and taking the position immediately."

"I'll call my family doctor and have her take it apart for you. If possible, we'll do it today." Kaka knelt down to examine it, touched it, and decided it wasn't serious. If it were him, he'd probably just soak in a cold pool for a few days, and then resume training after the swelling went down. If it were during a game, everyone would just lie on the ground for a while, wait for the referee's call, and then limp back to play.

But the injury was on Rosalia, so he felt that he should be more cautious. If it was not healed properly, it would leave sequelae. It was better to be careful.

After the doctor finally removed the gauze, Rosalia felt a lot lighter, but...

"What if Dad gets angry when he comes back?"

Kaka was squatting beside the bed, feeling her ankle, trying to use his years of experience to feel if there was anything wrong with her bones. He was not very confident in the doctors, especially the team doctor.

Hearing what Leah said, he raised his head and smiled at her and said, "Just say that I took it apart because I wanted to take you out to play. I'm not afraid of him getting angry with me."

No, he was afraid that Matthew would dislike him and kick him out and not allow him to get close to Leah.

"Oh, dear, you are so nice." Rosalia kissed his curly hair contentedly.

Kaka naturally would not miss any opportunity for intimacy. He leaned his arms on the edge of the bed, held Rosalia in his arms, and stood up to follow her lips.

Just as the two were about to touch each other, Rosalia suddenly remembered Kaka's last words when he said goodbye to his friends.

She covered Kaka's face and asked him, "You just said you were moving out, are you serious?"

Kaka had been staring at the corner of her lips, intending to savor them, but when his mouth was suddenly covered, he couldn't help but deflate. He buried his whole body in Rosalia's knees as if he had no bones. "It's true. I've found a new house very close to the police station. You can move out and don't have to live in a hotel anymore. I'll take you to work before training every day and pick you up on the way home after training."

Rosalia thought for a moment and asked him, "Then you won't be far away?"

"No, Pippo lives nearby too. I specially asked for the place he picked for me." Kaka turned over and sat on the edge of the bed, hugging Leah and thinking about the future. "When you're busy, I can go to training with Pippo. He rushes from the city to Milanello every day and is never late. If you're not home, I can also go to Pippo's house for dinner. He has a weak stomach and is very careful about his diet, but it's okay. He can just watch me eat, and maybe he'll eat more. He's too thin."

"Then we can pick Eleven up and go out for a walk together after dinner." The more he thought about it, the more excited he became. His lover, pets, and family were all right beside him. It couldn't be more wonderful.

Kaka also asked excitedly: "Can I invite Sandro to my house to play games during the break? We get along really well!"

Rosalia hesitated to speak. She really wanted to ask Kaka if he had forgotten Matthew's existence. He came to their house and not only kidnapped her, but also left the dog behind.

But who can refuse Kaka?

Especially Kaka, whose eyes are sparkling and long eyelashes are fluttering as he looks at you.

No one, at least she wouldn't refuse.

"Okay, okay," Rosalia compromised, "Then I'll give myself to you."

Kaka sat up straight, held her hand, put it to his lips and kissed it, and said solemnly: "God is my witness, I will protect you well and never let you get hurt. I will love you, cherish you, and love you forever."

If they weren't in the bedroom, if they weren't wearing home clothes, Rosalia would have felt like she was in a church with Kaka. His solemn vows made her at first overwhelmed, then softened.

She couldn't help but hold his face and murmured, "I hope God can bless you, my dear, and bless you not to be hurt or sad, and to live a happy and healthy life."

Rosalia is an atheist, but at this moment, she sincerely hopes that God will bless Kaka. It has nothing to do with love, but just to bless him to be healthy and happy, not to suffer from illness in the future, and to live a happy life.

Kaka pressed his lips against hers, a simple kiss without any color, exchanging their true feelings.

The author has something to say:

----------------------

Fisherman Matthew (Air Force version) returned home and was shocked: Where is my daughter? Where is my dog?

Super Pippo (Weak Stomach Version): You're such a nice guy, even though I watched you eat.
