Chapter 26 is v! Kaka? Cat? Fight? ...
After dinner at home, the two packed up and were about to go out. Rosalia put on her shoes at the door, wondering whether to wear sunglasses and a hat. In the blink of an eye, she saw Kaka took out a folding stroller from somewhere and assembled it.
"What's this for?" Leah asked hesitantly. "Should I push you to the supermarket?"
"Of course not. If you need to push, I'll push you." Kaka quickly assembled the bike, wiped the car body clean with a wet wipe, and folded it up again. "I'm planning to take Luna out with me."
He deftly put on Luna's clothes and brought a canvas bag filled with cat wipes, a water bowl, and snacks. He stuffed Luna into Leah's arms and carried the heavy bag on his back. "Okay, let's go."
"...You will definitely be a good father."
"Thank you, I thought so too."
-
The car drove all the way to the large supermarket near the apartment. There were a lot of people on non-working days, but fortunately the time they chose happened to be the Italians' favorite afternoon tea time. At this time, everyone usually enjoys the beautiful afternoon sunshine in the restaurant area upstairs, orders a cup of coffee and slowly whiles away the time.
At the supermarket entrance, Leia first carried Luna, who had been well-behaved and cute all the way, out of the car. Luna was very brave and kept looking around while in the car. If Leia hadn't stopped her, she would have almost stood on the center console with her neck raised high to cosplay as the Lion King.
So when Kaka installed the stroller and tried to put her in, she was met with strong resistance. Luna kept meowing, her voice hoarse, sounding particularly miserable, causing passers-by to turn their heads from time to time to look at Kaka and Leah, wondering if they were cat dealers or animal abusers.
"Be good and I'll be out in a minute, Papa promises." Kaka tried to reason with Luna, "You've been leaning on the windowsill looking out, wanting to go out, haven't you? Why are you still unwilling to go out now that we're out?"
Leah thought, even if I asked you to go out and tie you up and put you in the stroller, you wouldn't want to. But she didn't speak to rescue her boyfriend. Instead, she folded her arms and calmly watched the stalemate between the man and the cat. She even took two steps back with them to avoid blocking others from entering and avoiding being reported to the police for animal abuse.
She didn't want to encounter her colleagues on duty, especially in the jurisdiction of their police station.
"Just a moment!" Kaka stretched out a finger, and Luna seemed to be convinced and stretched out her fist. Just when Kaka thought he saw the dawn of hope, Luna punched him twice, then gracefully retracted her fist and licked her paw.
Seeing the security guard not far away also starting to look around, chatting with his companions for a few words, and about to walk over here with the intercom in hand, Kaka couldn't help it any longer. He spoke quickly and gently to Luna: "If you sit quietly in there, Papa will go back and open a can of cat food for you." He paused, gritted his teeth and said, "You'll sleep next to your mother."
This was already a big concession, and Leah was shocked. Usually, Kaka strictly controlled the time and amount of snacks for the two of them, especially for Luna, who was gradually growing into a small truck. Canned food and cat strips were given at regular times and in fixed quantities. He would never be defeated by her pitiful meows, but would only move his mouth to say "How pitiful" or "What's wrong", and his voice was very pinched, but he never took action.
Now the retribution has come.
Luna seemed to understand what Kaka said. When she hesitated, her body unconsciously softened. After he rubbed her twice, she instantly turned into a pool of kitten biscuits and was placed quietly in the stroller.
Kaka breathed a sigh of relief, gave an awkward smile to the security guard who was coming over, and pushed the cart into the supermarket.
There weren't many people here today. Leah felt her head was stuffy wearing a hat, so she put it on Kaka's head and pushed the stroller forward, heading straight for the snack area.
"Let's go buy eggs first, and also some seasonings..."
Kaka finally managed to comfort Luna and stuffed a cat noodle for her to lick. He then looked down at the shopping list to plan his route. When he looked up again, both the cat and his girlfriend had disappeared from his sight again, leaving behind a sprinting figure not far away.
The blood vessels in his temples were throbbing. He comforted himself, saying, "It's okay, my girlfriend just ran away. Next time I go out, I must buy a child safety rope for each of them!"
He strode forward, taking two steps at a time, using the speed of a man dribbling the ball into the penalty area. He dodged the defenders and headed straight for the goal. With a big wave of his hand, he firmly grabbed Leah by the back of the collar to stop her.
"Just run around and eat broccoli for another week."
"oh……"
With her fate strangled by the scruff of her neck, Rosalia dejectedly followed Kaka, watching the snack area grow further and further away. It wasn't that she didn't want to run, but her hand was held tightly by Kaka's ruthless grip. His fingers, slightly open, clasped tightly between Rosalia's.
After buying some cauliflower and carrots, the two carnivores hit it off and headed straight for the refrigerated section. Neither of them knew how to handle fresh meat and marinate it, so they decided to just buy ready-made refrigerated food and fry it right away.
"Tender beef?" Kaka hesitated as he picked up two boxes of meat patties. "Or sausage?"
“Buy them all.”
Leah took the patties and placed them in the storage area under Luna's stroller. She discovered that Kaka had a fear of making choices because he picked up two more boxes of hamburger buns.
"Should I buy whole wheat or butter?"
"..." Leah held her forehead in her hand speechlessly, and decisively ran away pushing the stroller, leaving him to fret over it. "I'm going to buy some yogurt up front. Come find me when you've made your selection."
I don’t know whether he heard it or not. He just hummed twice and then got lost in the ingredient list on the box.
"Skim, skim."
The fat-free yogurt was on the top shelf, but Leah was tall enough to reach it easily. She put the yogurt in Luna's cart and was about to go back to Kaka when a short, delicate-skinned Asian woman suddenly approached. She was standing on tiptoe, trying to reach the yogurt on the top shelf. Finally, she found it, breathed a sigh of relief, and reached out to grab it.
But the yogurt was too heavy, beyond her expectation. It slipped out of her hand in the blink of an eye and fell straight down on her. The girl subconsciously closed her eyes.
"careful!"
Leah was admiring the girl's clothes and wanted to wait until she finished taking them to ask where she bought them. Unexpectedly, she saw this scene. She was so scared that she quickly stepped forward and held the yogurt bottle with both hands to prevent it from hitting anyone.
"Here." She waited until the girl relaxed before putting the yogurt in her cart. "The layout here isn't very reasonable. You can complain to them."
The girl blinked and answered blankly: "Huh?"
Because of the language barrier, Leah slowed down her speech and repeated it again. Seeing that she still didn't understand it very well, she simply switched to English.
"Where are you from?"
Hearing her start speaking English, the girl breathed a sigh of relief and started communicating in English as well.
It turned out she was Chinese and had just come to Italy on government funding to study. Her Italian was still limited to written language, and even slightly complex conversations sounded like exam listening comprehension to her, not to mention Rosalia's rapid speaking speed. But having studied English since childhood, communicating in Italy wasn't difficult for her; there were always people who knew English.
"This is fat-free yogurt," Leah pointed to the Italian on the bottle. "If you like full-fat yogurt, you can choose that brand. It tastes better."
"Thank you!" The girl looked at her with sparkling eyes. "Italian is so difficult. I always can't understand what others are saying."
"You can start with the hand gestures," Leah said, making chicken hands. "Learn that, and you'll have learned general Italian."
The girl burst into laughter, tiptoed up and put down again, looked at her hesitantly, then looked away, "You..."
As soon as he said this, he was interrupted by someone who hurried over.
"So you're here."
It was Kaka who spoke. He had finally finished debating in front of the freezer and decided to buy both boxes. Turning to put them in the cart, he realized Leah was gone again. He scratched his head and thought, thinking she had said something, but he was so focused on the ingredient list that the words went in one ear and out the other, leaving no trace in his mind.
He couldn't say he hadn't heard her, so he searched shelf by shelf. Luckily, he was smart enough to remember that yogurt was on his shopping list, and the sign indicated the dairy section was close by. He knew Leah must be heading that way, so he hurried over with the meatloaf, fearing she'd leave too soon.
"Have you bought the yogurt?" Kaka saw that there was someone beside her, thinking it was someone he knew, so he nodded and said hello, "Hello."
"Ciao! Oh no, ciao!" The girl turned around and was surprised by the face under the hat. She blurted out in her native language, "Are you Kaka?!"
She subconsciously covered her mouth, afraid that her voice would be too loud and attract more people, but she also forgot to loosen up a little to leave herself some breathing space, and her face turned red in an instant.
Kaka looked at Leah in confusion, and after she shook her head, he politely replied, "Yes, I'm Kaka."
"I'm Rossoneri! I chose to come to the school in Italy because of you," the girl said excitedly, but her voice was small and restrained. "I didn't expect to see you here. I was planning on watching your game at San Siro."
"Thank you, and welcome to Milan." Kaka hadn't expected to run into fans, foreign ones at that, while shopping in the supermarket. He was surprised that his fame had spread to Asia, and at the same time, he felt a little touched. Of course, he didn't know now that ten years later, he would be even more famous in China, but only in TV commercials...
The players and fans interacted in a friendly manner. Leah stood aside with a mysterious smile. I don't know if the girl noticed that she suddenly seemed to have mastered Italian, speaking as fluently as a local, and using flexible gestures. She didn't look like she was stumbling and could only speak English just now.
Not only that, Leah also watched her pull out a Kaka poster and even a jersey from her bag. She couldn't help but glance at it several times, trying to observe how the girl stored it, how it was like a telescopic space.
Noticing her gaze, the girl puffed out her chest proudly and said, "My mother taught me to keep valuables close to me. I even kept my money separate." It was obvious that she also knew something about the security situation in Italy, but not much.
"You'd better carry your bag in front of you, or don't carry a bag next time you go out," Leah reminded her. "If someone approaches you, be sure to pay attention to your bag. If several people deliberately bump into you, just yell and the patrol will come to help."
"It's signed. Here you go."
The girl excitedly took the poster. A handsome man in a red and black AC Milan jersey, a soccer ball at his feet, a vast green field behind him – he was the prince of this place. His name was signed in the open space beside him, not covering his face. There were words below. She thought it was a blessing for her, but when she looked closer, she saw two large characters written on it:
Long.
The girl's eyes went dark, and she pointed at the two big words with a trembling hand and asked Kaka, who was smiling proudly: "What, what is this?"
"Isn't that right?" Kaka reached up to scratch his head, forgetting he was wearing his hat. He could only scratch it awkwardly. "That's how Chinese fans write messages on the club's official website. I even practiced writing it down in my notebook several times."
Seeing such care, the girl swallowed the correction in her mouth, hardened her heart, closed her eyes and nodded, "Yes, that's right, that's how it is written."
As long as it is not a matter of principle, you can spoil your child.
After Kaka finished signing, the girl took out her phone, a candy-bar BlackBerry. She looked at Leah hesitantly, her words stumbling back to normal. "Can I take a picture?"
"sure."
After becoming the girlfriend of a famous football star, Rosalia was already prepared. She was discovered by fans during dates and even followed by reporters. Now she was just helping fans take photos. She didn't care at all. Instead, she took the phone enthusiastically and prepared to find a good angle. Fortunately, Kaka got up this morning and shaved, and put on a hat to cover his messy hair.
"No, it's not." The girl turned to Kaka, who was about to approach her, "Can you take a picture of me and her?"
She was referring to Leah.
Both of them were stunned.
She continued, "I can still go to the stadium to see him, or ask for his autograph at the stadium gate..." Her voice was soft at first, then it got louder and louder, "But I think the chances of taking a photo with you will be almost gone in the future."
She made a starry eyed look and asked, "Is it okay?"
Leah reacted quickly and raised her chin proudly towards Kaka, saying, "I am still more charming."
She pulled the girl over and hugged her in her arms, "Sir, please take a photo of me and my fans, thank you."
Looking at the phone that was handed to him, Kaka raised his eyebrows, took a step back and stood on the other side of the girl, stretched out his long arm, placed it on the arm that Leah extended, turned the phone over, and before the two of them could react, he pressed the camera button.
A photo of three people is frozen.
The girl excitedly took the phone, and Leah also came over. She had never seen Kaka take pictures before, so she must be very...
As soon as they saw the photo, they both fell silent.
On the small mobile phone screen, Kaka in the front was grinning happily with his teeth bared, while the two ladies behind him, one with her mouth open and the other with her eyes wide open, were obviously photographed before they were ready.
It's pretty good, Kaka is handsome, and the others... are also human beings.
The girl quickly put away her phone, not wanting to look at it any longer, afraid that she would be unable to resist pressing delete and lose the photo. She wanted to leave and not disturb the two people's date, but she saw the cart pushed by Kaka move and was startled: "You two have children?"
She had originally thought it was a trolley unique to Italian supermarkets and was wondering why she hadn't noticed it when she first walked in. Unexpectedly, it actually moved! It moved!
There's someone inside!
She looked at the two of them in surprise, paying particular attention to Leah's belly, "You've recovered so well." She didn't expect that Kaka had just arrived in Italy and quickly found a girlfriend and had a child. China is so far behind Italy, but there is no news about it on the Internet. It's terrible.
"Do you want to see it?" Leah forced a smile and gestured for her to open the stroller cover. "It's cute." She didn't mention any pronouns.
The girl was very touched. She was willing to introduce the child to Kaka on their first meeting. She said to Kaka solemnly: "She is a very nice person. You must treat her well." Her words clearly put herself in the position of her family.
As Kaka seemed to be hesitant to speak, the girl opened the tent and just as she was about to make an expression to tease the child, her face froze.
The stroller was filled with toy balls, half-eaten snacks, and a small lace quilt and pillow underneath. On the pillow was a chubby, plump, furry butt that rose and fell with the baby's breathing.
The girl looked blankly at Leah, then at Luna who was sleeping soundly with her head upside down in the stroller. "You...you gave birth to her?"
Leah decisively made way, pointed to Kaka next to her, and said firmly: "He gave birth to it." That's right, Leah was sure of herself in her heart that what Kaka brought back was equivalent to what Kaka gave birth to.
After watching the girl walk away dazed with the canvas bag and the yogurt bottle, they both breathed a sigh of relief.
Leah: "I didn't expect to be recognized as soon as I left the house."
Kaka nodded: "Fortunately, she was quiet and didn't let other people come over, otherwise we might have needed security to clear the way."
Leah glanced at him sideways: "Are you showing off your popularity to me?"
Kaka put on a cocky expression and puffed out his chest proudly, "No, I'm stating the facts."
Fortunately, they had almost finished buying everything, so they decided to go home. It was already dinner time in the afternoon, and if they stayed any longer, the supermarket would be crowded and the chances of being discovered would be higher.
Before leaving, Leah took advantage of Kaka going to the car to go to the service desk to complain about the shelf placement. "Your design is very unreasonable. The yogurt bottles are so heavy. What if they hit someone?"
The staff was also very patient in recording the problem, thanked her for her feedback, and gave her two coupons as a gift.
-
"Let's go to Chinatown for Chinese food?" Kaka loaded the things into the car, saw Luna sleeping soundly in the back seat, and whispered to Leah how they were going to have dinner.
She thought for a moment and said, "Let's go to a restaurant where I can take Luna. I'm afraid she'll wake up halfway and get scared when she can't see anyone."
They found a pet-friendly restaurant, but did not go in. Instead, they chose to dine outdoors. The sunset was beautiful today, and there were not many people in the restaurant or on the street, so they simply ate outside while enjoying the scenery. Luna's stroller was placed aside so that they could easily observe whether she had woken up.
Sure enough, Luna woke up with a meow when they were halfway through the meal. Kaka called the waiter and ordered a pet meal for her. Although she had a small body, she had a big appetite, just like Kaka. No one knew where all the food went into her stomach. When asked, she just said, "I consume a lot," and she didn't look fat at all.
After Meimei finished her delicious dinner, Luna couldn't stay in the stroller any longer. She meowed and screamed that she wanted to go home. Kaka and Liya had no choice but to speed up their meal and take her away before she attracted the volunteers from the animal protection organization.
I don’t know what Luna was so anxious about. She kept meowing all the way, even louder than the sirens Leah heard every day, urging Papa to drive her home quickly.
We drove all the way at lightning speed. When we got home, it was just getting dark and the sky was gray. I don’t know if the street lights in the community were not on because of poor connection.
Kaka had just parked the car and hadn't closed the window yet when Luna jumped out and disappeared from their sight.
Leah was so scared that she quickly unbuckled her seat belt and pushed the door to get out of the car. Kaka didn't even bother to take out the car keys and followed her out.
"Luna?"
"Luna, where are you?"
With the weak flashlight from her mobile phone, Leah searched on the road. Fortunately, everyone was almost eating at this time and there were no vehicles passing by on the community roads. She stepped into the grass on the side of the road, lowered the flashlight and tried to see if Luna appeared here.
Kaka followed closely beside her, only a few steps away. Leah had night blindness, so her vision was poor at night, and he was worried she might step on something and get hurt. Kaka's attention was half on Leah and half on searching for Luna. Seeing that Leah was searching in the bushes, he raised his phone to check for any trace of orange in the trees.
"It's all my fault. I didn't hold Luna well."
After searching through several bushes in vain, Leah felt a little scared, and more of a sense of self-blame. If she had held Luna tightly and not let her run away, she would definitely be curled up on the cushion at home, choking and letting them open the can.
"Don't blame you. It happened so suddenly that I couldn't react." Kaka hugged Leah and comforted her.
Just as the two of them regained their spirits and were about to continue searching along the path, they heard a heart-wrenching roar that tore through the quiet community and headed straight for them.
Leia looked at him and felt something was wrong. It sounded like the voice of a kitten.
Without thinking too much, Leia picked up a slightly thick branch at her feet and ran towards the sound, with Kaka following closely behind.
The sound was getting closer, and the road was getting more and more remote. They followed the sound to the alley of the community garbage disposal station. When they turned the corner, they saw Luna with her back to the intersection, her back arched high, her hair standing up, and she was breathing towards the opposite side.
Across from her was a pitch-black kitten, seemingly larger than Luna. It also bared its claws, arched its back, and breathed at her. It charged toward the alley entrance, but upon seeing a human, it took two steps back, a look of alarm, and stopped.
Only then did Leah realize that the two cats were trying to have a fight!
As soon as she saw the black cat with shiny and smooth fur and a plump body, she knew it was also a domestic cat, not a stray cat. It must be a neighbor's pet that had sneaked out on its own.
Seeing Luna, Kaka breathed a sigh of relief. He threw down the stone in his hand and was about to go over and pick Luna up, but was stopped by Leah.
"Wait a minute and see what they are going to do," she whispered.
Seeing that the two people did not move and did not try to get close, the black cat gradually relaxed and turned its attention back to Luna. It touched its paws and meowed at her. Even Kaka could hear the provocation in its tone.
Luna glanced back and found that it was her servant. She suddenly felt an inexplicable pride and lost her previous bluff. She was full of fighting spirit and prepared to show off her skills to the servant to prove her status.
Both sides are ready to go.
The black cat rushed towards Luna first, its movements very nimble, leaping over the trash can and the glass bottles on the ground, and heading straight for Luna's head, without any of the clumsiness that might have come from its fat appearance. Its movements were sharp, but the nails between its claws were always hidden, as they had been from the beginning, so Leah was relieved not to let Kaka pass.
Luna was not to be outdone. She also jumped over the trash can and charged towards the black cat with her head raised.
For a moment, the alley was filled with cat fur. Both cats had no claws and were determined to fight with only their soft fists.
Leah calmly leaned against the wall and cheered for Luna. Kaka beside her took out his phone and started recording. "This is Luna's first fight. I have to record it for her."
"Wait until she has a child to show it to her, right?" Leah complained, then corrected him, "This isn't necessarily the first time. Seeing how familiar they seem, they've definitely done it before."
After watching the cats pecking each other for a long time, Leia found that they were unharmed except for some loss of fur. She felt relieved but also lost interest. She yawned and felt that the food she had just eaten turned into blood and rushed to her head, leaving her feeling dizzy.
She nudged Kaka, who was happily recording beside her, and said, "I'm sleepy and want to go back and lie down for a while. You stay here with her. If you win, bring her back. If you lose, neither of you should come back."
"Yeah, yeah." Kaka looked at the two cats intently, holding the phone steadily. Leah's words entered his left ear and then came out of his right ear.
No! The familiar scene suddenly alerted him. He was about to turn around and ask Leah again, but the situation suddenly changed -
The fat black cat had Luna under it at some point. It held its head high and licked its paws contentedly to smooth its fur.
Luna stuck half of her head out from under him and meowed miserably towards the entrance of the alley. The sound was even more shrill than when she asked for canned food at home. She tried to struggle out from under the black cat, but the black cat held her down tightly and did not move, thanks to its size advantage.
The cry was pitiful and hoarse, and to Kaka, who was full of fatherly love, it was like a cry for help in his mind.
Seeing his precious daughter being bullied, he could no longer stand it. He stuffed his phone into Leah's arms, picked up the branch she had just thrown on the ground, and rushed over, shouting, "Get out of the way, you bad cat!"
Leah: “???”
"What are you doing! Hey!"
Suddenly something was stuffed into her arms, and a dark shadow flashed by her side. She was about to go home but was stopped.
In the blink of an eye, Kaka rushed forward with a branch in hand.
This reversal came so suddenly that Leah subconsciously raised her mobile phone and repeated Kaka's actions, thinking that she must record it for him and show it to him when she had a child.
Seeing her old father rushing towards her, Luna was suddenly filled with strength. She seized the opportunity, and as the weight on her body lightened, she put her head on the black cat's fat belly, pushing it upside down with its limbs facing the sky.
She patted the squatting Kaka and rewarded him with a strangled "meow~", but the black cat immediately turned over and stood up. She didn't try to coax him, but twitched her tail and slapped it on Kaka's leg, making a snapping sound, signaling him to follow her quickly.
Kaka shouldered the heavy responsibility, holding up the branch and following Luna, waiting for the right moment to strike. He held the branch high in the air, dancing it with such force that you could hear the sound of it breaking through the air as he flipped his hand. However, when it landed, it was always two steps too slow, kicking up a cloud of dust that blinded the two cats for a moment. He even turned back and winked at Leah, indicating that she should admire his superb acting skills.
He just wanted to cheer his daughter on from behind and let her take advantage of the power of the tiger, but he didn't want to really hurt the little black cat.
Seeing that this tall servant could only drag his feet from behind, Luna lowered her voice, gave him a look of disgust, turned around and jumped to a high place with the black cat to continue fighting with each other.
"Haha!" Leah laughed out loud at the scene, but was afraid that the recording effect would be bad, so she forced herself to hold back her laughter, and her cheeks turned red.
Kaka, the despised old father, was very worried. He was afraid that the two cats would play at such a high place that one of them might slip and fall down. So he took off his coat to prop it up and moved along the wall with the two cats.
He even advised: "Forget it, Luna, let's go home."
"Stop fighting!"
"I'll open a can of food for you when I get home, okay?"
Catching the sensitive words, the black cat's ears moved, as if thinking about something. After giving Luna a slap on the flesh, it turned around and ran away.
The street lights on this path were dim, and the cat was black, so it slipped away quickly and disappeared into the night. No matter how angrily Luna tried to chase it, she couldn't find any trace of it.
Unexpectedly, she was so angry. Kaka sighed, thinking that she must have inherited Leah's personality. He even advised: "Okay, you see, you beat it away. Let's go home, okay?"
He finally coaxed Luna down, and she jumped into the clothes he had prepared. He quickly wrapped her up like a big sushi, to prevent her from jumping out of the car and disappearing again, otherwise no one would be able to sleep tonight.
Seeing the outcome was decided, Leah pressed the stop button and raised her hands in cheers: "Luna! Champion!"
She also sang the accompanying song: "We are the champions my family~"
This made Kaka both angry and amused. He freed one hand and tapped Leah's forehead with his knuckles, "You two really are a family."
He poked Luna's little head as it struggled to emerge from her clothes, "My daughter is acting lawless outside."
He poked Leah, who was looking proud with her lips curled up, and said, "Mom is cheering in the back."
After saying this and that, it was his turn. Leah and Luna looked at him with equally wide eyes. Kaka sighed and said, "I'm the only one working hard for this family." He didn't mention the fact that he had just waved the branch to support Luna's tiger skin.
Leah rolled her eyes at him, snatched Luna from his arms, lifted her above her head, and made her favorite Lion King pose. "That's great. Mommy will go back and open a can of food for you later. I'll hold you to sleep tonight and let Papa sleep in your bed."
"Meow meow meow~" It has to be mom. Luna doesn't know what papa is.
The family of three walked home happily, not noticing the dark corner. The flash flashed by and was quickly covered up.
There were two paparazzi huddled there. The older one stuck his head out to see Kaka and the others enter the house before saying, "I didn't expect there would be such a surprise today."
The younger one looked down at the footage captured by his camera and sighed, "Yeah, Kaka has a girlfriend. News like this will surely sell like crazy tomorrow."
This kid is incorrigible! The older man snatched the camera away, patted him on the back, and said with dismay, "Do you think we were the only ones who caught him going out with his girlfriend? It was a cat! A cat!" He pointed at the picture of Kaka waving a branch on the screen. "Who wants to see a star player in a relationship? That's such corny news! Kaka fighting a cat, that's the kind of news people would want to see."
"Just wait, sales will definitely double tomorrow."
He stood up and brushed off the leaves on his body. "Let's go back to work overtime!"
Ignoring the intern's wailing behind him, he hummed a song as he walked towards the parking space, feeling that this month's bonus was right in front of him!
-
Kaka went back and wiped Luna's body thoroughly with pet wipes. He then opened a can of food for her as promised and locked up the rest. He told the two of them, "I'll open the second can tomorrow. We've had enough today."
He wondered how he became a housekeeper after coming to this family. His age rose sharply and his status fell sharply. He was a bully both in the club and the national team, but at home he became an old housekeeper who worked hard and was unwilling to complain, and had to endure the contempt of the mother and daughter.
Oh, being a dad is so hard!
But being a boyfriend is such a blessing.
Kaka took a shower and changed his clothes. He got on the bed and hugged Leah, who was still watching the video. His lips rubbed against her neck, and he said in a low voice, "I'm so tired..."
His hair made Leia feel a little itchy. She tried to hide, but was pushed back. She could only watch him sniffing her like a big pet.
"Rest if you're tired." She tried to persuade Kaka that he still had to train tomorrow.
"Uh, no."
Kaka remained unmoved, his lips tracing her fair, soft skin upwards, gently pecking at her lips, tentatively extending his tongue to trace the shape of her lips. Meanwhile, his hands continued to move downwards, following the contours of her body, across her tight, curvy belly, and disappearing into the quilt.
"Huh..." Leah gasped softly, her hands unconsciously grabbing the sheets beside her ears and slowly tightening. She was a little confused by Kaka's kneading, and she obeyed his instructions and opened her mouth slightly, allowing him to attack her and penetrate her aggressively.
After a few minutes, or maybe more than ten minutes, Leah no longer had the energy to think. She lay on her side in Kaka's bed, occupying the edge of his bed, and breathing heavily on the pillow.
Kaka got out of bed and took another shower. He was still cold when he came out. Seeing that Leah had fallen asleep leaning on her pillow, he kissed her slightly sweaty forehead, then walked to the door and opened it for Luna who had been scratching at the door trying to come in.
When she came in, she even expressed her dissatisfaction with him, saying, "You waited so long before opening the door, what a lazy servant!" Luna held her tail high in the air, and when she passed by Kaka, she even whipped his ankle as punishment. Then she jumped up on the stool at the end of the bed, walked all the way to Leah's head, curled herself into a ball of yarn, and fell into a deep sleep with a comfortable purr.
Kaka was gently brushed by the kitten's tail and thought she was in a good mood and acting coquettishly. He closed the door with a smile on his face and rubbed his body to warm it up before going to bed. His space was occupied, so he didn't go to Leah's side. Instead, he opened a little space on his side and squeezed in.
He held Leah, who was mumbling in her sleep, in his arms and patted Luna on the head. Then he leaned over, turned off the light, and lay down on the pillow to sleep.
Even though he quickly fell asleep, his hands were still tightly around Leia's waist, pulling her into his arms. His arms kept tightening when she tried to move in her sleep, and he only relaxed them when their bodies were tightly pressed together.
