Chapter 39 Wedding I love you.
The weather was nice on Christmas Day. Although the wind was still a bit strong, it was much better than the biting cold of the previous few days. The big sun was hanging high in the sky, shining on our bodies and adding a lot of warmth.
Leah woke up very early. It wasn't because she didn't want to sleep in, but mainly because Kaka got up even earlier.
Before she opened her eyes, Kaka was already lying on the pillow, whispering in her ear.
The sound is not loud, but it is very disturbing.
Buzzing like a little bee: "Babe, when will you wake up?", "The weather is very nice today", "We are getting engaged today!", "Get up quickly, get up quickly, get up quickly", "Sleeping Beauty, do you need a kiss?" and so on.
Leah was so annoyed that she forced one eye open, reached for the phone on the bedside table and turned it on.
It’s only seven o’clock!
She turned to look out the window again.
The windows were covered with dew early in the morning and it was gray outside. How could it be good weather!
Leah flopped back down, resting the back of her hands on her eyelids, and wailed, "Please, let me sleep a little longer. It's only seven o'clock!"
"If you keep talking, don't go home tonight. Stay with Eleven!"
Her threat was very effective. Kaka, who was originally buzzing, suddenly stopped, pouted in dissatisfaction, and his cheeks bulged out, but he refused to say a word.
After a long silence, not even the slightest sound of movement, Leah, who had been gradually waking up, finally woke up. She opened her eyelids and looked at the person beside her curiously. The sight almost made her laugh out loud. Kaka, after being silenced, lay on the pillow like an angry pufferfish, staring at her silently, his caramel eyes filled with resentment, like a resentful husband who had been abandoned.
"What's wrong?" Leah asked with amusement.
Kaka said nothing, shook his head, and still looked at her sadly.
"Okay, okay, I'll get up right away." Leah compromised. She prepared to get up, wash up, and then call the styling team to come to her house.
Just as she raised her upper body, a large bony hand pressed it down. Leia didn't understand why and lay back down obediently.
Then, Kaka pressed half of his body over.
Although he is not tall and strong in Serie A, and is even a little thin compared to them, he never puts all his weight on Leah at home, but today is different.
Kaka allowed himself to press down on Leah, his face close to hers, his lips touching, but he still said nothing, just staring at her.
As if she understood what he meant, Leia sighed helplessly and took the initiative to lean over and kiss his lips: "Can you talk now, my little prince?"
Before he finished speaking, Kaka pressed down on her, holding her wrist, lowering his head to follow her open lips, his tongue deftly rubbing across her palate. He watched with satisfaction as the girl beneath him softened into a puddle of water, then slowly, bit by bit, hooked himself up to dance with her, sucking on her lips.
When the styling team arrived at the door, the two of them came out of the bathroom.
Leah's cheeks flushed, her eyes full of affection. She glared at Kaka as she saw him, then went upstairs with the stylist without looking back. A few makeup artists and Kaka remained on the first floor, ironing clothes and styling hair, each doing their own job.
Three minutes later, the makeup artist put down the brush in her hand helplessly and sighed: "Mr. Kaka, please stop smiling. Your eyebrows are not at the same height anymore."
Hearing this, Kaka immediately stopped smiling and put on a serious expression: "Ahem, sorry."
"...Don't be so serious, it'll make the powder stick. Just relax."
After the styling was complete, the stylist changed Gaga into a suit, the same Armani suit that Lea had taken a liking to during the magazine shoot. They added a few stitches to make it fit better. They had originally had the suit custom-made, but a reporter somehow got wind of the news and published an article about their Christmas engagement ceremony. This prompted Armani to call and request that Gaga wear his brand.
"What's wrong with a family gathering?" Mr. Armani said confidently, "I can't see you appearing in the newspaper wearing someone else's suit. I'll be sad!"
Kaka quickly comforted him: "Of course, of course, I plan to wear an Armani suit, not any other brand." Handmade ones don't count, because they don't have a brand.
"That's great. I wish you a happy engagement." Mr. Armani was very satisfied. Before hanging up, he reminded her, "If you're getting married, please let me know in advance. I started designing Sheva's suit three months before the wedding, choosing the fabric and style. The same goes for yours."
“…Yes, sir.”
Kaka pinned the flowers in his lapel, straightened his collar, checked the time, and then went up to knock on the door.
The door opened with a click, and the stylist poked her head out. "What's wrong?" Seeing Kaka, she was surprised at first, then pushed the door open further and invited him in. "We're done."
Kaka walked in and saw Leah's back as soon as she entered. She was wearing an Armani dress today. The brand sent this dress together with Kaka's suit. It was said that it was a dress specially selected by Mr. Armani for her. The whole dress was made of silk and had a waist-hugging cut. The champagne-colored skirt fell naturally when she moved, making her look capable and sexy.
He took the rose necklace from the stylist and put it on Leah himself. After fastening the clasp, his hands naturally rested on her waist and he embraced her from behind.
The others were very tactful and quietly left the room with their things, not forgetting to close the door before leaving.
After staying in silence for three or four minutes, Leah couldn't help but turn around and throw herself into his arms, looking at him face to face, and asked softly, "What's wrong?"
"It's a bit unreal," Kaka tightened his arms, so tightly that he seemed to want to embed her into his arms, "I thought I was dreaming."
Leah pulled his hand up to her neck and said, "Now, is it real?"
Kaka quietly felt the pulse beating under his fingertips, rubbing it unconsciously a few times, as if to confirm. Under her gaze, he nodded slowly: "Really, we are getting married."
It's marriage.
They submitted their documents to the city hall a few days in advance and booked a date to register their marriage. Due to their special status, they did not publicize their marriage information on the city hall bulletin board. The city hall was originally scheduled to be closed for Christmas, but Kaka sought the help of President Berlusconi and opened a special day for them to receive their marriage certificate. So now they will go to the city hall to take the oath and receive the marriage certificate, and then go to the manor for the ceremony.
Just like Shevchenko's small wedding, Kaka and Leah decided to stage their engagement ceremony as a wedding, secretly under the media's radar, making them believe they would marry after Kaka achieved significant personal success, as Bosco had announced. Consequently, the media only made a few comments about the grandiose engagement ceremony, while few people ventured in, waiting to get photos from Kaka's spokesperson before reporting on the event.
So, apart from their families, only the club and the staff who were required to work overtime knew that they would officially get married today. Of course, Kakat specially gave the staff a large compensation to make up for their poor holiday.
Finally, under Bosco's constant phone calls and urging, the two set out from home.
Without calling a driver, Leah chose to drive Kaka to the city government herself. She was afraid that Kaka would be too nervous and drive the two of them onto the flower bed on the side of the road.
She stared straight ahead without looking away along the way, not even saying a word.
"Liya? Honey?" Kaka asked, "Are you okay?"
"What?" Leah suddenly came back to her senses, glanced at him, and quickly turned her head away, "I'm fine."
He looked at Leah's hands, whose knuckles were white from tightly gripping the steering wheel, and said silently, "Don't worry, there's still time." If it weren't winter, if he rolled down the car window now, the wind from the high speed would have blown his hair off.
"If you step on the gas again, we'll be at the police station instead of city hall."
"Mom and Dad will strangle us to death..."
This sentence seemed like a magic spell. Thinking of the busy and nervous parents at home during this period, Leah subconsciously released the accelerator, slowed down the car, and slowly moved forward.
Kaka finally breathed a sigh of relief and reached out to touch her cold earlobe, but he couldn't stop smiling in his eyes.
Knowing that she was not the only one who was nervous, Kaka's nerves, which had been tense since the two of them submitted their applications, relaxed.
The car quickly stopped in front of the city government. Because it was a holiday, the road was full of hurried pedestrians. I glanced at it twice and left without looking any further.
Kaka got out of the car and walked around to the driver's side to open the door for Leah. He held Leah's hand tightly and put it to his mouth, breathing continuously. "Dad just called and said they are waiting inside. Rita and Paul are here too."
The oath-taking required the presence of witnesses from both parties, as one needed Italian citizenship or a residence permit to serve as a witness. Kaka specifically asked captain Maldini, who gladly accepted the invitation.
"Hmm, wait a moment."
Leia's hands were shaking slightly, not because of the cold, but because of nervousness.
It was very strange. Even when facing armed criminals during the arrest, she was able to remain calm, but now she was standing at the deserted door of the city hall, refusing to step inside.
Her eyes were dull and she glanced at Kaka unconsciously and paused.
"Why are you dressed so formally today?" Leia asked for fun.
“Here’s this.”
Kaka looked around to see if anyone was paying attention, so he pulled her hand up to touch his thigh and whispered, "I'll show you when I get home tonight."
She was so nervous that her mind was in a mess and she didn't realize what he was talking about. Just as she was about to touch it again, she heard a crisp cough behind Kaka.
The two turned around and saw that it was Digan and Fiore.
Digan looked at the sky awkwardly, but Fiore was not embarrassed. Instead, she looked at her brother-in-law's look with some criticism, and gave him a passing grade in her heart.
She handed the bouquet in her hand to her sister: "Everyone is inside."
Kaka looked at Leah. She took a deep breath and straightened her chest: "Let's go!"
Instead, he was no longer nervous, his eyes full of smiles. Looking at Leah's resolute look as if she was going to the battlefield, he walked closely beside her and protected her as she went up the stairs.
The group arrived at the oath-taking hall, where everyone had been waiting. Enzo was immediately greeted by a camera. Due to confidentiality, no photographers were invited to the ceremony, but he quickly took the role, vowing to capture his sister's most beautiful moments, just as he had done when photographing lions hunting in the Serengeti.
Leah reserved her opinion on his statement.
Two salutes sounded, and colorful streamers fell from above and landed on the shoulders of the two men.
Only then did Leah feel that she was really going to get married.
Marry Kaka.
She unconsciously turned her head to look at him, and happened to meet Kaka's gaze, and they smiled at each other.
The staff read the legal text, signed the document, and asked Liya and Kaka to sign. As Kaka put the final touches, he announced, "Congratulations on becoming husband and wife."
There was a cheer from behind. Martini and Rita stood aside and applauded. Matthew was also standing beside them, hugging Christine. He looked down at his wife and said, "If you want to cry, just cry."
Kristen rolled her eyes and took out a handkerchief to smear his face: "Go cry."
The handkerchief was soaked in an instant.
Digan and Fiore sprinkled flower petals on the two of them's heads again. Enzo jumped up and down in the room, trying to record it from every angle. Bosco also held Simone's hand tightly, and both of them had emotion on their faces.
He never expected that his son would get married in Italy, nor did he expect that he would get married in just one year. This made Bosco, who had agreed to Kaka coming to Milan early, couldn't help but wonder if he had personally handed his son to Rosalia, but everything was the best arrangement.
"Beep--" As a whistle sounded, two figures rushed in quickly from outside the door.
Leah and Kaka looked up.
It's Eleven and Luna.
They were dressed up, with big bows tied around their necks, and they walked over the obstacles without looking away, coming to the two of them with small flower baskets in their mouths.
Leah's heart softened. She squatted down and kissed Eleven's head, then patted Luna's furry head twice: "Baby, why are you so good?"
Kaka also snored twice, praising them for being well-behaved and obedient.
He picked up the box from the flower basket on Eleven's chest, knelt on one knee, and said to Leah, "Dear, I know I'm not a perfect boyfriend. I don't have enough assets, I don't have such strong abilities, and I don't even have much time to accompany you. But you still chose me and are willing to be with me. I was attracted to you from the first moment I saw you. The swiftness and decisiveness when you commanded the operation, the serious expression when you inquired about the case, are so charming that I can't help but get closer to you, hoping to catch your eye."
"After arriving in Milan, the quickest and most correct decision I made was to buy that apartment. Now I have you, Luna, and our home."
At this point, he took a deep breath and said, "Will you marry me, Leah?"
He asked even though he knew the answer, and both of them signed and received the certificate!
Although she knew that he wanted to make up for not proposing that day, Leah still couldn't help but glare at him. Then, she couldn't help but laugh at his innocent eyes, stretched out her hand and said, "I do."
Kaka's face broke into a huge smile. He took off the ring on Leah's middle finger, took out a new one, and solemnly placed it on her ring finger. Leah also took the small flower basket from Luna's chest, freeing the little kitten who was about to get restless, took off Kaka's old ring, and put the new one on his ring finger.
"Wow!" Everyone cheered. They could finally take a group photo. Enzo directed everyone to stand in a row, fixed the camera on the tripod, and quickly adjusted the picture.
Leah and Kaka were surrounded and stood in the center. He held her in his arms, while Leah held Luna in her arms. Eleven happily squatted in the front. While Enzo was adjusting the positions of the others, she couldn't help but whisper to Kaka:
"Didn't we agree to buy a simple style?"
This time Kaka chose a bigger diamond than before, with a row of diamonds surrounding the outer ring and a huge sapphire in the middle, just like Leah's eyes. He fell in love with it at first sight. It was the diamond ring at that time that inspired him, and asked the designer to make a bigger and more dazzling style.
But Kaka wouldn't say that. He just said, "I will buy you a ring every anniversary from now on."
"What about this year? I won't take it with me?" Leah asked tentatively.
Kaka pinched her hand punishingly: "Don't even think about it, this year's one is on the bedside table. I'll put it on you when we get home tonight!"
Enzo caught them whispering. He finally adjusted his camera and poked his head out: "Hey! Those two newlyweds, get serious! Let's start filming!"
"Five, four, three..."
As the shutter was pressed, everyone adjusted their expressions, and Enzo quickly jumped back and stood in his own position.
"Two, one!"
"Congratulations on your wedding!"
As the flash lights came on, everyone's expressions were frozen.
Enzo directed me to take a few more photos, both solo and in pairs. He only stopped when Leah's face turned fierce: "If your photos don't look good, stay in the Serengeti and never come back!"
Maldini was leaving early to go home and spend Christmas with his family. He found Kaka to say goodbye. Kaka hugged the man who had helped him so much on the field and in life since he came to Milan. With red eyelids, he said: "Thank you, Paul, thank you for coming."
Maldini smiled and hugged the child back: "Thank you for inviting me, Ricky, enjoy your vacation, and see you in Milanello."
At the entrance of the city hall, Matthew and Bosco politely thanked the staff for their help today on behalf of Kaka and Leah, and gave them two signed Milan jerseys before saying goodbye to them.
Rita, Fiore and the two mothers held Eleven and Luna and surrounded Enzo to look at the photos he took today, commenting from time to time and discussing which one to develop and which one to enlarge and hang up.
Leah looked around and saw that everyone was busy and no one noticed her. She quietly approached Kaka, who had just seen off Maldini, pulled his tie, and whispered in his ear, "How about we run?"
Kaka glanced at them secretly and said in the same voice, "Where are you going?"
"Go home?" Leah suggestedly touched the subtle bulge on his thigh.
Kaka blinked, took her hand and said firmly: "Let's go!"
While no one was paying attention, the two of them ran towards the parking space hand in hand. Leah's skirt fluttered, and the veil that was originally pinned behind her head floated away like a gust of wind, floating in front of Fiore and being grabbed by her. She thought her sister's veil was not fixed properly, and was about to pin it on her again, but when she turned around, where was she?
Matthew also noticed the two people running away, and felt that the scene looked familiar. He shouted, "Where are you taking my daughter?"
Kaka helped Leah onto the passenger seat first, then he quickly walked around to the driver's seat and started the engine. Before he stepped on the accelerator, he leaned out of the window and shouted, "Elope!"
"You are already married, why are you eloping?" Bosco was so angry that he blew his beard and glared.
But what responded to him was his son's merciless car exhaust.
In the car, Leah texted Ms. Christine, who kept calling, and told them to go back to the manor first. She and Kaka would be back soon. Then she turned off their ringing phones and threw them on the back seat.
"Mom has been preparing for so long. If she doesn't see us go back, she will definitely kill us." Kaka calmed down at this time and said belatedly.
"I will definitely go back, but when to go back depends on you." Leah said meaningfully.
With a squeak, Kaka swerved the steering wheel and drove the car into a deserted alley, then braked and pulled the parking brake in one go. Before Leah could react, he had already unbuckled his seatbelt and moved closer to her. Seeing that there was no one outside the car window, he held Leah's face, forehead against forehead, and whispered:
"I love you."
Leah responded softly, "Me too."
Unexpectedly, Kaka was not satisfied. He frowned and asked, "What are you too?"
"Love you." Leah winked.
Kaka was still not satisfied: "Who loves me?"
Oh! Difficult child!
Leah had no choice but to hold his face and whispered, "I love you."
Their eyes met, Kaka lowered his head slightly and kissed Leah on the lips. His kiss was as soft as a feather, sucking the corners of her lips and the beads of her lips bit by bit, and tracing the shape of her lips inch by inch with the tip of his tongue. When Leah finally let him go, before deepening the kiss, Kaka smiled softly:
"I will love you forever."

The author has something to say: The main text is finished!
Actually, I'm getting stuck in writing more and more as I go along, so the updates have been slow and late these days. This is the end of the main story, it's very fast hh. I'll update two chapters of the story after the wedding later, and then start the bonus chapters.
Originally, this story was a sudden inspiration, and I didn't expect everything from signing up to becoming a V-rated writer to go smoothly. Thank you all for your support! I never had an outline, and I only knew the plot an hour or even half an hour before everyone else, so my writing isn't great, and there are many typos. I didn't expect everyone to follow it all the way through. Thank you again!
I've liked Kaka for many years. I still have the photo of him wearing a wreath on my profile picture on the platform. It went from clear to blurry (crying). Seeing him in such good shape and happy now makes me very satisfied~
