Chapter 13 Chapter 13 Liar Perez
On the day when Eto'o bid farewell to Real Madrid and left for Mallorca, it was still only Leandri who saw him off.
At Barajas Airport, Eto'o squatted down and hugged Leandri tightly, then walked into the security check passage without looking back. Leandri thought that no matter how close he was to Eto'o in the past two years, after being coldly treated by Real Madrid and abandoned again and again, Samuel might never come back.
Leandri tried to intervene but was unsuccessful.
The depressed mood caused by saying goodbye to Eto'o improved day by day with time. La Fabrica youth training welcomed children of all ages again. Leandri also had to return to the U12 to report, but he was pointed at and scolded on the first day.
"Liar Perez! Liar Perez!"
Leandri looked towards the source of the sound, Miguel Balmond, the substitute striker of Real Madrid U12.
Ignoring him, Leandri put on his gloves and prepared to do his own shot-saving training. The goalkeeper coach was already waiting for him there.
"The son of the liar Perez is also a liar!" The little boy continued to curse at this side, making weird and exaggerated expressions on his face.
Leandri frowned but couldn't help it. He threw the football in his hand to the side and walked towards Miguel.
Everyone on the field who heard the noise immediately turned their attention here.
"What do you want to say?" Leandri's eyes darkened as he asked word by word.
"I said your father is a liar, and you are a liar too!" Miguel was not afraid at all and continued to sneer.
"What did he lie to you about? What did I lie to you about?" Leandri was not so angry at the other party's sarcastic tone and expression that he lost his mind. He wanted an answer.
"Perez deceived us into selling Redondo, isn't that enough? If your father wasn't rich enough, how could you have come to U12 so quickly? And played for Barcelona right after you arrived?" Miguel swore, "You are actually a poor kid who was thrown away and no one wants you!"
Miguel's friends also started to make a scene. It is difficult for children around ten years old to distinguish right from wrong. They just thought that Miguel's "fearless" behavior of standing up and arguing with others was super cool. They had no idea how much psychological damage this would cause to others.
Hearing Miguel say this, the coaches on the side were ready to step forward to stop him. It is normal to have conflicts, but one cannot target others' pain points.
If Leandri was really only eight years old, his faith would probably have collapsed by now, and he would either be crying or rushing up to pull someone's clothes and punching him.
“Has Redondo been sold?”
"Didn't Figo transfer here?"
"During team training, when did you ever score a goal against me?"
"In the match against Barcelona, were you standing by and saw me blocking the ball and they were sure to score?"
Leandri threw a few questions at the other party with great force, leaving him speechless.
"President Sanz brought us two Champions Leagues!" Miguel, who finally reacted, tried to struggle.
"We almost got relegated to the relegation zone and were beaten twice by Barcelona!" Leandri continued to refute, "You said my father is rich, which is of course true. Can't he run for president just because he has money? At least my father won't squander Real Madrid's public funds in the casino."
Last season, Sanz was photographed appearing in a casino, and later a reporter revealed that the huge amount of money held by this chairman who came from a poor family all came from Real Madrid.
"Real Madrid can win the Champions League thanks to the fans for paying the membership fees, the players for fighting on the field, and Bosque's command!"
When Nacho walked into La Fabrica for the first time, he stared blankly at Leandri, who showed no anger but was extremely imposing.
To a certain extent, Miguel was not wrong. Florentino's method of taking down Figo could be regarded as getting something for nothing, in order to satisfy the growing appetite of the Melinex. But was Sanz not wrong as well?
Even though Florentino has signed a bet agreement, he is still making efforts everywhere. What about Sanz? Sanz was laughing at Florentino's wishful thinking, and he didn't even notice that Redondo, who always supported him in the past, had flown back to Argentina at this critical juncture.
The troublemaker Miguel was speechless and was about to get angry when the coaches came over to stop the confrontation between the two.
On the other side, Nacho completed the team joining test seriously, but during the breaks he couldn't help but look at the figure on the goal line, who saved the goalkeeper coach's close-range shots time and time again.
When he was doing side slides and crossover runs, his speed didn't necessarily drop after completing two or three sets of training.
Nacho's eyes are getting brighter and brighter. He wants to stay in La Fabrica to play for Real Madrid and also wants to be his teammate!
A few days have passed since the conflict on the sidelines, and Leandri has been wandering around the team every day with an indifferent look on his face, but he is still a troublemaker.
"Just wait, I will definitely shoot you through tomorrow!" Miguel, sweating all over, just finished an internal confrontation within the team and ran over with a defiant look on his face, panting and making threats.
"Oh." Leandri didn't care, took off his gloves and walked around him to the sidelines.
"Did you have a conflict with that kid?" Cassie, who had been watching from the side for a while, was curious. He had seen this scene several times.
"It's okay. Training is tiring enough. It's quite interesting to see him like this occasionally." Leandri walked over to the few people.
"What did he tell you?" Guti continued to ask.
"He said he was going to shoot me and make me cry." Leandri had a dead look in his eyes.
Hahahaha, several people burst into laughter. Raul laughed so hard that he couldn't straighten his back, and his upper body fell uncontrollably on Morientes.
"His talent is average, but you can't be careless." Redondo handed Leandri a sports towel.
The others also nodded. They had watched from the sidelines for quite some time. If the career of that provocative striker went smoothly, he would probably be a substitute in Castilla at best and get some playing time.
"I know, I know." Leandri nodded.
"If he scores a goal for you, you won't be able to take Igor's place in the future." Guti joked loudly, not noticing Casillas' momentary low mood.
Last season, Casillas played all 12 Champions League games for Real Madrid, but still failed to secure a supporting role.
Redondo glanced at the sunny-looking Golden Wolf, and put his big hand directly on his head, successfully shutting Guti up.
Guti: What's going on? Fernando slapped me on the head? Does he not hate me that much? !
At the end of the summer break, Redondo really stayed in Real Madrid, and Raul knew that Leandri must have contributed to it. On the first day of joint training this season, Florentino invited him to his office to discuss contract renewal and salary increase with him. Real Madrid offered Raul a contract that is very suitable for his current stage.
Raul and his agent were about to leave, but Florentino interrupted them with a smile, "Raul, Real Madrid fans like you very much, maybe you will be the next prince."
When Raul heard that the president valued him so much, he felt a little shy but more of a yearning for the future.
"You can come to me if you have any problems in the future. You are a child of Real Madrid, and I will consider your opinion." Florentino sat at the conference table and closed the pen he had just signed. "The last time you came to see Ryan, he cried all night and was upset with me for a long time."
Raul scratched his head. “I’m sorry, Mr. Perez. I was just a little anxious.”
Raul was embarrassed by his behavior, but his agent Carvaja was sweating coldly.
Florentino continued to wave his hand with a warm smile, "It's okay, it's just that this is the first time I got angry with Leandri. He felt a little wronged, and I felt very uncomfortable too. Okay, go back and share your contract with your family, Raul. Maybe our big star can consider moving to a bigger house. Have a nice day!"
Watching Carvaja pulling Raul away with a serious face, Florentino signaled his assistant to close the door and continued to think about how to help Real Madrid eliminate the huge debt left by Mendoza and Sanz.
"Are you crazy? You actually went to find his son!" Carvaja questioned Raul as soon as he got back into the car.
Carvajal knew that the rumors about Redondo's transfer were true, and he also knew that the progress at that time had almost reached the point where Real Madrid accepted the offer, and Redondo could soon negotiate contract terms with Milan. He also knew that he had the man of tomorrow in his hands. In order to keep Redondo, he and Guti approached Bosque, the management, and even tried to persuade Florentino.
No one knows what happened at that time that made Florentino change his mind.
But now, Florentino's personal words let Carvajal know that it was Raul Guti who contacted Leandri that caused this series of changes.
"I..." Raul was about to explain but was interrupted by Carvajal again.
"Do you know that this will make Perez feel that you are manipulating Real Madrid's transfer through his son!"
Raul was shocked when he heard Carvajal's words.
"And why do you think Real Madrid is planning to sell Redondo? Redondo is a direct descendant of Sanz!"
After saying this, Carvajal was overwhelmed. "Oh my God, what are you doing?"
Raul was speechless for a long time. He was not a stupid man. After Carvajal's words, he understood the twists and turns.
"Then why is Perez willing to give me a new contract?" Raul was puzzled.
"Because he has not yet secured his position, Real Madrid cannot sell every player, especially someone like you who is favored by everyone as the next prince," Carvajal explained.
"Redondo rarely appeared to support Sanz not long after Perez announced his candidacy. Now that I think about it, it may have something to do with Perez's youngest son. I remember you said they had a good relationship?"
Seeing Raul nodded, Carvajal continued.
"That's it. Redondo finally saw that Sanz was constantly dragging Real Madrid into the abyss. Even though he was Sanz's direct descendant in the early stage, he did not stand on the side in the later stage. In addition, you went to ask Perez's youngest son for mercy, and he had not yet secured the position of chairman. So many fans protested. Perez saw the situation clearly. Keeping Redondo is the safest choice at the moment."
"But you can't go to Leandri and tell him this again. Perez won't allow your feelings to influence his decision. No matter how much he dotes on you, he won't agree to it. Didn't you hear him say that this has already caused a rift between them? Regardless of whether Perez's words are true or false, Raul, don't hurt him, and don't hurt yourself."
Seeing Raul nod solemnly, Carvajal breathed a sigh of relief, started the car and sent Raul home.
