It's triple positive, everyone must wear a mask recently!
It's double positive again, and I can't escape this wave.
Doudou was the first to be infected with this wave of the new coronavirus. At first we all thought it was a cold. Doudou couldn't express himself and couldn't say that he was feeling unwell. We only saw that he was coughing all the time, but he didn't have a fever, so we didn't take it too seriously at first.
Later, I also started to have a sore throat and cough, and Doudou had been coughing for three or four days without getting better, so I took him to the hospital for a check-up. It turned out that except for Doudou’s mother, both Doudou and I tested positive o(╥﹏╥)o This new coronavirus is different from the previous two waves. The main reason is that there is no fever, but the cough is very severe.
I have rarely coughed when I had a cold for more than ten years, but this time I couldn't stop coughing. I couldn't help it at all. I always wanted to cough when I went to bed at night and couldn't sleep at all. My abdominal muscles hurt from coughing. You can see how serious this symptom is.
In addition to coughing, just like the previous two times, my throat hurt and it was difficult to drink water and swallow it.
Poor Doudou, he is not very good at expressing himself. He had been coughing and having a runny nose. Even when he used cotton towels to wipe his nose, his nose was scratched.
And his throat must be sore, but he can't express it. It's hard for him to express his feelings subjectively like a normal child. He can only say things that we have taught him repeatedly. For example, when his nose is running and he needs to wipe it, he will say he has a runny nose.
When he coughs and feels there is phlegm in his throat, he will say that there is phlegm in his throat, but blowing his nose and coughing up phlegm is too difficult for him. It is not easy to teach him and he cannot learn it. We can only wait for his nose to run and we will help him wipe it. Otherwise, pinching his nose to blow it will easily hurt him, and his cooperation rate is also very low.
However, Doudou has made some progress recently. Last night, his uncle drove to pick him and his mother up to go back to her parents' home. When he saw his uncle coming, Doudou immediately started crying, shouting, "I don't want to go to my uncle's house." He also ran over and cried, pushing his uncle, "I don't like this uncle," meaning that he wanted his uncle to leave quickly and not take him away. Haha!
He usually doesn't talk much and spends most of his time repeating a few words we taught him, but sometimes he can actually use them correctly in corresponding scenarios, which surprises me.
I hope he will get better and better in the future!
Without further ado, I wish you all a happy Chinese New Year in advance!
Remember to wear a mask when you go out in the next few days, and be sure to protect yourself!
