Chapter 52
The joint physical training camp between AC Milan and Manchester United is going very well in terms of business, with sponsors placing more advertisements before the rest of the training camp begins and allocating more funds for media operations related to the friendly match that will be launched on the last day.
To be honest, this is indeed a win-win approach for the clubs on both sides. It is not easy for the clubs during this period - or in other words, clubs are like giant ships sailing on a tightrope at any time - they all need more commercial value. Whoever realizes this first will have an advantage in the next ten years, unless they have greater hidden dangers.
So even though Sir Alex Ferguson did not think that such "physical training" could bring much substantial help and improvement to his athletes, he had to nod and agree to cooperate.
The main players of both teams returned to the training camp less than half a month later. Cristiano was familiar with the place and went straight to the dormitory for two people with his luggage.
But when he opened the dormitory door, he was stunned by two shirtless strong men who were about 1.9 meters tall.
Cristiano subconsciously took two steps back and looked up at the dormitory number. Is that right?
When a stranger suddenly opened their dormitory door, the two room owners showed an offended and dissatisfied expression, but soon, when they noticed Cristiano standing at the door, they became much more tolerant.
"Pretty boy, are you lost?" Someone in the room stood up and teased Cristiano with a smile in English with obvious Italian accents.
Cristiano opened his mouth, but before he could ask what was going on, an arm embraced him and pulled him behind without a chance to refuse.
"Sorry, he just arrived and doesn't know about the dormitory adjustment notice. Please forgive me for disturbing you." Kaka said gently and sincerely.
"It's nothing." The Italian man who had just spoken shrugged indifferently. He looked past Kaka at Cristiano with a smile on his face. "We don't mind being disturbed by such a beautiful boy. This is a surprise encounter."
Cristiano smiled at the other party and pulled Kaka over. Although the two men in the dormitory looked tall and strong with tattoos on their arms, and there were two well-tailored black suits hanging on hangers in the dormitory, making them look like they were not easy to mess with, he was unexpectedly friendly. He apologized for his rashness and asked, "We are players who came to train. What about you?"
"I know him, a football player, right? He's in Serie A." Another person in the room spoke up, looking at Cristiano and asking, "What about you? We're in athletics."
"I'm currently playing for Manchester United in the Premier League." Cristiano stepped forward and shook hands with the two men. "You're welcome to come and watch the game when you're free in the future."
Italians are always very enthusiastic. The two men shook hands with Cristiano and then hugged him. A simple kiss on the cheek: "Of course! We will pay attention to it."
Kaka swore he saw one of them brush his lips against Chris' neck as he spoke.
Cristiano was already used to the Italians' enthusiasm. He grinned and picked up his bag: "That's settled. I have to go find my own dormitory. See you later."
Kaka politely gave the two track and field athletes a fake smile, then moved sideways to the inside of Cristiano, blocking all sight from the opposite side.
As Cristiano walked out, he asked Kaka in a low voice in annoyance: "Oh my God, when did you announce the dormitory news? I thought it would not change!"
"You had already run away when Keane made the announcement, and he didn't have time to call you back," Kaka stated, still thinking about Cristiano's skin being touched just now.
"Oh, so... I think I heard someone calling my name, but I just wanted to see you so much." Cristiano said thoughtfully, then pursed his lips, with an embarrassed smile in his eyes, "How did you know?"
"Keane told me that he was going to take the others to the correct dormitory, so he asked me to inform you." Kaka said, that's why he knew all this. When he saw the little expression that his young boyfriend was not good at concealing, his heart softened.
He finally couldn't help but reach out his hand and rubbed Cristiano's neck with his thumb slightly, as if he was wiping something.
Cristiano shrank back ticklishly: "Kaka?"
"Um?"
"Nothing." Cristiano felt that he should change the subject, "Are we still sharing a dormitory?"
Kaka paused. This was another reason why he was in a bad mood.
Cristiano stood at the door of his dormitory, turned the doorknob, and was greeted by an eight-person dormitory with bunk beds.
"Oh..." Cristiano blinked, not quite surprised.
Four Manchester United main players - him, Keane, Ferdinand and Van Nistelrooy, and four Milan main players - Kaka, Maldini, Shevchenko and Costa.
Cristiano murmured, "To be honest, I haven't seen an eight-person dormitory for a long, long time."
Shevchenko put on a fake smile: "Who says it's not, Ronaldo."
He heard from the grapevine that the eight-person dormitory was arranged by the Manchester United captain.
Keane said expressionlessly, "A group of track and field athletes happened to arrive at the training camp two days earlier than us. The contact person probably forgot to tell the staff here to keep the original dormitory, so this is all that's left."
"But don't you like the hustle and bustle, Ronnie?" Fanny looked at Cristiano with a smile.
Cristiano touched the tip of his nose: "Well... sort of..."
