Chapter 64

Chapter 64

At Cardiff's Millennium Stadium, the match whistle blew and smoke spread in the fanatical air.

Manchester United, wearing red jerseys, played against Millwall, wearing blue jerseys. At the beginning of the game, the two teams, one red and one blue, were filled with subtle murderous aura - not only from the players on the field, but also from the fans outside the field.

Millwall's former Chelsea captain Wise and Manchester United captain Keane are both known for their bad tempers and are tyrants on the field. The encounter and collision between the two on the field is enough to make this game full of gunpowder.

Millwall's guerrillas expanded the gunpowder smell and battlefield of this game to another space.

Less than five minutes into the game, Keane made a straight pass, Cristiano moved to the right and made a diagonal pass, accurately sending the ball to Van Nistelrooy's feet.

"Manchester United launched the first threatening shot towards Millwall's goal!" Commentator Joel Joel said in real time, "Van Nistelrooy headed the ball! Unfortunately it went wide of the post!"

Van Nistelrooy clicked his tongue, his eyes met with Cristiano's, the two nodded slightly and exchanged glances -

This was just the beginning, and they had created threatening attacking shots, which was a good sign and their morale was in the ascendancy.

The ball was wandering in Millwall's half. A long pass landed on the ground and rolled quickly to the right baseline. Cristiano accelerated and chased it. Before the ball was about to roll out of the baseline, he gently hooked it back.

A defender in a blue jersey was defending him alone. Cristiano slammed on the brakes and the defender in front of him had no time to run out of the gap. He even had time to look up at the goal and lightly flicked the ball.

The ball flew out a beautiful parabola and landed in the front of the penalty area!

"Ronaldo made a juggling pass with his heel, and Scholes shot in front of the goal!" Commentator Maddison said "Ah!" and shook his head regretfully, "Scholes didn't make the shot, this position is really dangerous!"

"Millwall's goalkeeper was shouting something to his teammates. Two consecutive threatening shots from Manchester United in less than ten minutes must have made Millwall's goalkeeper feel a sense of crisis, right?" Joel added.

His partner nodded: "Ronaldo's pass was in a really good position this time... Oh! Scholes shot low from outside the box again! Okay... it was a bit off this time haha. Scholes looked a bit embarrassed, and the boos from the Red Devils fans were a bit loud."

The tempo on the field was picked up, and before the commentator could finish a sentence, a new round of attack began the next second.

Sir Alex Ferguson sat on the sidelines and calmly watched the performance of everyone in the game. He was wearing a dark gray suit with a bunch of red fireworks on his chest. He looked like he was attending some award ceremony.

The camera in the broadcast room was turned to Ferguson. He chewed gum and twisted his nose. He glanced at the camera and then continued to look at the field, at the red and blue figures running on the field.

Nearly halfway through the first half, Manchester United's midfielder Fletcher looked up and saw Cristiano lurking on the right side.

He made a long pass from the left to the right, and Cristiano rushed forward to grab the ball.

The next second, a blue figure quickly approached Millwall's midfield, and Cristiano lightly touched the ball, and the ball seemed to be able to read his mind and flew high, lightly bypassing the defense in front of him.

Cristiano caught up with his ball, and the Millwall defender targeted him. He nimbly knocked the ball away and turned around to dribble past the opponent.

There was a gap in front of him and Cristiano immediately accelerated.

After being dribbled past by Cristiano, the defender on the opposing team quickly turned around and chased after him. At the same time, another blue figure rushed up from the side road!

"Cristiano Ronaldo! He bypassed the defense of Scot and Cahill in succession! His flexibility and skill teased the Millwall defenders! No one can defend him! Unless it is a tactical foul." Jolk commented.

As soon as he finished speaking, he heard his partner exclaim.

"Wise rushed up from the side!" Maddison exclaimed, "Oh my God! Wise and Cahill kicked Ronaldo down at the same time, one in front and one behind!"

It was indeed a tactical foul.

The two Millwall players closed towards Cristiano like two doors. Cristiano didn't have time to slow down and fell forward heavily in embarrassment.

He fell to the ground, slammed the grass hard in dissatisfaction, and knelt up, but before he could get up, he saw Weiss, who had just tackled him, rushing forward by inertia, covering Cristiano's face with one hand and pushing him back hard.

"Hey!" Cristiano was suddenly pushed to the ground. He immediately wanted to get up and argue, but in the blink of an eye, he was surrounded by four or five Millwall players.

Since Cristiano was sitting on the ground, the space for him to stand up was compressed to the extreme. All he could see in front of him were the men's thighs, surrounding him like an iron cage, making it impossible for him to even turn around and get up.

Giggs, Fletcher and Keane also rushed over immediately, and the main players of both teams rushed forward immediately.

The referee found Cristiano, who was surrounded and unable to get up, in the crowd. He grabbed Cristiano's arm and tried to pull the boy up first, but the main players from both sides almost started fighting.

He had no choice but to divert his attention to separate the main force over there.

Cristiano looked down to check his body, and another Millwall player stepped over him, stepped on his knee and walked away.

Cristiano yelled, he looked at the man, then immediately turned to signal the referee, but the referee was busy separating the furious Red Devils and Blue Lions on both sides and didn't notice this at all.

"Fuck you!"

"Oh my God! My child!"

"This is too bullying! This is a foul!"

The Red Devils fans on the sidelines were incredibly angry, while the Millwall guerrillas were extremely arrogant, singing the team song loudly to boost morale.

"What's going on!?" Ferguson suddenly stood up from his seat and spat out the gum he was chewing. Like an angry bull, his face turned as red as the red firework on his chest.

Harris of Millwall came over and pulled up Cristiano who was sitting on the ground.

Van Nistelrooy trotted over from the frontcourt. He only saw Cristiano surrounded by the blue Millwall players and could not see what was happening at all.

He frowned and glanced at Giggs and Neville who were discussing with the referee, then lowered his head and asked Cristiano: "Are you okay?"

Cristiano turned his leg. The guy who stepped on him just now didn't use much force. It was more like he just rubbed it with the upper of his shoe. He rubbed his knee, nodded and replied: "No problem, I can still run."

Fanny patted him on the shoulder.

Cristiano rushed to the referee, pointed at his face, and loudly accused Weiss of what he had just done to him.

However, the referee just glanced at him, patted Chris's shoulder lightly as if to comfort him, and finally only gave Weiss and Fletcher a verbal warning each, without showing any gem cards.

Such a penalty obviously made the Manchester United fans on the field very dissatisfied. For a while, the boos almost overturned the roof of Cardiff Millennium Stadium.

Cristiano puffed his cheeks slightly in dissatisfaction, but he got a free kick thirty meters away from the goal.

He straightened the ball and looked at Van Nistelrooy, who was standing a few meters away from him and nodded slightly at him.

Cristiano has the right to take the free kick.

He took a deep breath. To be honest, he had played hundreds of games and could not remember the results and processes of most of the games because they did not mean much to him, but he remembered the championship cups he had lifted, and this was one of them.

He wanted to get a one-point advantage for the Red Devils more than anyone else.

"Thirty meters! Is this within the range of Ronaldo's free kick?!" commentator Joel shouted.

"We all know that a few months ago, in the game against Arsenal, Cristiano Ronaldo scored a stunning long-range free kick! But in the subsequent games, we didn't have a second chance to see such a wonderful long-range goal..."

"Ronaldo runs up! Low shot!" Jolk let out a long "Oh!" and shouted excitedly, "The ball goes in!!! A low shot from a heavy artillery piece thirty meters away!! This is a world wave!!"

"Cristiano Ronaldo scored against Millwall! One to zero!"

Cristiano clenched his fist suddenly, and his eyes happened to meet the gaze of Weiss opposite him. The former Chelsea captain spat heavily on the ground.

Cristiano raised his eyebrows, and immediately suppressed the excitement that was about to cheer. He deliberately shrugged his shoulders, spread his hands, and turned down the corners of his mouth, as if saying "this is nothing."

Giggs, Fletcher and Van Nistelrooy ran up and hooked his neck. Giggs looked at Cristiano's expression with amusement and laughed softly: "Good boy, Wise will be pissed off by you."

Fletcher grinned. "He deserves it."

Van Nistelrooy pinched Cristiano's face and shook his head helplessly: "Control your expression. Weiss is not a good-tempered person. It's too obvious."

Cristiano wrinkled his nose and grinned: "I did it on purpose."

Fanny choked, silently grabbed a handful of Cristiano's hair and gently pushed him: "You are amazing."

Cristiano trotted away, shaking his head, and wandered easily on the sidelines.

Ferguson shouted to Cristiano. Hearing this, Cristiano trotted over to Sir Alex with a smile on his face: "Boss?"

"Was I fouling you just now? Where did you step on?" Ferguson asked.

"I'm fine." Cristiano shook his head. He looked at the field and couldn't wait to go back.

Ferguson saw Cristiano's anxiety, so he had to let Chris go back, gave him a few tactical instructions, and asked Cristiano to convey them to Neville and others.

Cristiano responded and ran back to the field quickly.

The first half of the game was coming to an end, Manchester United got a corner kick opportunity, and Cristiano took a tactical corner kick.

After taking the corner kick, he calmly observed the movements of his teammates, quietly lurking outside the penalty area, running in small movements, like a cheetah waiting for an opportunity.

After his teammates passed the ball several times outside the penalty area, Neville made a precise cross into Millwall's penalty area!

Cristiano started suddenly, rushing to the front of the goal from the left, staring closely at the black and white ball, and with his beast-like goal-scoring intuition and instinct, he nodded the ball and unexpectedly hit the lower corner of the goal!

"GOOOOOOAL!" the commentator Maddison shouted, "Gary Neville made a cross to assist! Cristiano Ronaldo scored with a header! Manchester United! 2-0 Millwall! Ronaldo scored twice!!"

Cristiano took off the upper body of his jersey, pointed at his muscular and toned body, and roared with pride and vent.

Cardiff Millennium Stadium witnessed the landing of the Red Devils!

The fans in the audience went wild because of Cristiano's actions and goals! The screams and cheers are about to pierce your eardrums!

On the other side, the angry roars and commotions of Millwall fans attracted the stadium security.

Ferguson couldn't help but stand up and looked around with a smile, pointing at the boy on the sidelines, as if to say "Look! That's my child!"
