"Say it again!"
Zhou Chenyan was angry.
He grabbed my neck with one hand.
I couldn't breathe, and a feeling of suffocation and fear came over me.
I struggled desperately.
He held me down tightly, "Speak, answer my question."
"You told me to say that..."
I spoke with difficulty.
Hoarse voice.
He seemed to wake up from a dream, his expression was stern, and he suddenly let go of her hand.
I sat up by holding onto the back of the sofa, looking at him with fear in my eyes.
I could feel that at that moment, he really wanted to kill me.
But more than fear, I was also confused.
Why is he so angry?
Care about me?
No, it's impossible.
That is because of the man's possessiveness, and he will not accept his belongings being touched by others.
But even for this reason, I felt a sense of relief when I saw him get so angry about it.
Maybe he was not angry because he cared about me, but the anger he felt at this moment was probably the same as the sadness I felt when I found out that he had a special liking for Zhou Zhizi.
My throat clearly hurt, but I still grinned.
"If you can't stand me, we can get a divorce. There's no need to get entangled. Can't we just part ways amicably?"
"Want a divorce?"
Zhou Chenyan smiled coldly.
"You wish."
I knew he wouldn't let me go easily, but I still felt disappointed when I heard this.
"I really regret it."
"What are you regretting?"
"I regret marrying you, meeting you, and being with you."
I even regret meeting him.
Sometimes I wonder why I couldn’t be reborn earlier, before my mother died, before I met Zhou Chenyan.
"If you want a divorce, just wait." He warned me fiercely, "I will never divorce you in this life. You will never be able to get rid of me, and I will not let you find a second spring!"
His face was full of paranoia.
Crazy and scary.
I whispered, "You're crazy! If you don't divorce me, what will happen to Zhou Zhizi?"
"It was impossible for her and I to have a relationship."
It seemed like he had already given up on his future with Zhou Zhizi, so he was determined to drag me into hell.
The face that once filled me with love now only filled me with fear.
"I won't let you succeed, and I won't live with someone as selfish as you."
Sooner or later, I will be able to get rid of him!
Zhou Chenyan chuckled, "You're right, I'm a selfish person, so you'll never get rid of me."
This sentence is like a curse.
I felt a chill all over my body. I put the sunglasses in my bag and prepared to leave with the bag on my back, but Zhou Chenyan suddenly grabbed my wrist.
"Where are you going?"
"It's none of your business where you go."
Zhou Chenyan pulled me back and asked, "Are you going to look for Han Qi?"
I said coldly, "Even if it is, so what? Are you planning to imprison me now?"
Zhou Chenyan smiled with an ambiguous smile, "I won't imprison you, but you want to find a wild man in front of me. Do you think I'm dead?"
I shook off his hand, opened the door and was about to leave, but someone held me down from behind and the door handle was pushed back before I could even open it.
I yelled angrily, "Let go!"
He pressed me from behind, his voice low, slightly hoarse and full of danger.
"Why are you running?"
When I heard his voice, the hairs on my back stood up.
When a man adopts this posture, the sense of dangerous oppression increases.
It's disturbing.
I bit my lip, "Zhou Chenyan, do you want everyone in the company to know about our relationship?"
He didn't care.
"So what if I knew? Isn't it normal for me to have a wife at my age?"
He looked fearless.
It seemed like nothing could shake him.
I had to grasp his weakness, "You don't care about others, what about Zhou Zhizi?"
Zhou Chenyan paused.
I continued, "Zhou Zhizi likes you. You've always known this. Aren't you deliberately trying to make him sad?"
I didn't want to anger him anymore, so I lowered my voice.
"Zhou Chenyan, isn't it good for us to maintain the status quo? What do you want to do? I won't interfere. You can be with whoever you want..."
"You are very generous."
The tone of the words was calm, and no emotion could be heard.
I was too lazy to figure it out. "As long as we stay the way we are now, it's good for both you and me."
"Everything is fine?"
I don’t know what I said wrong, but his emotions suddenly became unstable again, his tone was deep, and he pressed me against the door tightly.
"It's for your own good." He lowered his voice and moved his fingers along my back.
Like a poisonous snake spitting out its tongue.
Cold and sinister.
It makes one's whole body numb and the back feels cold.
My whole body was stiff, frozen, and I couldn't move my limbs. "I don't understand what you are saying. Please stop making unwarranted assumptions about me."
"Is it groundless speculation, or do your actions arouse suspicion?"
He was in my ear, his voice low.
Like the whisper of a devil.
"You ignored what I said, but you know everything about Han Qi."
There was no emotion, and there seemed to be a hint of sourness in his tone.
I thought I had heard it wrong.
"Han Qi and I are innocent."
"Innocent... these two words don't seem quite right to describe you, do they?" He was still skeptical, and every word he said was a test. "I told you to stay away from him, but you gave him sunglasses. I found out. What else did you give him before I found out?"
