Zhou Chenyan looked at me and said, "Since you made a mistake, you must be punished..."
Anyone with a discerning eye can tell there’s something fishy about this matter.
But Zhou Chenyan refused to ask or investigate.
I gritted my teeth slightly and said, "When this document came into my hands, the data was exactly like this."
"What do you mean by that? Are you saying that I deliberately gave you a document with wrong data?" Su Xiaohong said aggrievedly, "Mu Yan, I admit that I don't like you because you suddenly appeared in our secretariat, but I wouldn't joke about the company's affairs."
She looked righteous.
Zhou Chenyan said calmly, "The work was actually handed over to you. Why didn't you report the data error immediately?"
I didn't speak.
Zhou Chenyan glanced at me coldly, "Since it's your fault, then..."
Su Xiaohong looked very proud.
Even I didn't expect Zhou Chenyan to believe what he and she said so easily.
Did he really believe it, or did he do it on purpose?

She looked at Zhou Chenyan.
"Mr. Zhou, I don't think we need to listen to her further excuses. She's just sloppy and she's trying to shirk responsibility even though she made the mistake."
"You're right. I noticed from the beginning that the data was wrong."
Su Xiaohong was stunned. "You found that the data was wrong and you didn't modify it?"
"Why should I change it? Isn't this document your job?"
Su Xiaohong choked suddenly.
This was originally her job, but she forced it on me and then said that the mistake was my fault. She was very good at passing the buck.
"What evidence do you have to prove that this data was wrong when it was given to you?" Su Xiaohong insisted, "When I taught it to you, the data above was clearly correct! It was you who was careless and filled in the numbers incorrectly."
"You're so stubborn."
I sighed and thankfully I was prepared.
I called Tang Fan.
Tang Fan is Zhou Chenyan's assistant. He has followed him for many years, is loyal to him and has outstanding abilities.
I said calmly, "When this document was initially handed to me, I discovered that the data on it was incorrect, so I went to Assistant Tang and told him about it."
Tang Fan nodded, "Miss Mu Yan did come and tell me about it."
"Since you discovered it a long time ago, why didn't you change the data to the correct one?" Su Xiaohong asked sharply.
"Because I wanted to see how a veteran employee who had worked at the company for so many years could fail to spot such an obvious mistake."
Su Xiaohong has been working in the company for nearly 10 years. She is Zhou Chenyan's chief secretary. Apart from Tang Fan, her status is the highest.
The ability is also the strongest.
So I was surprised when I saw the error in the data.
She would never make such a mistake.
There is only one possibility.
She did it on purpose.
Since the other party has already set the hook, of course I have to pretend to take a bite.
Su Xiaohong gritted her teeth, "This is impossible. What's the point of you two doing this? You knew the data was wrong but you still gave it to Mr. Zhou. Are you trying to play a trick on him?"

Zhou Chenyan asked, "What's going on?"
Tang Fan and I looked at each other.
"I found that the data on the file was incorrect. I wanted to go find Secretary Su, but I overheard her conversation with someone else."

But Su Xiaohong's words revealed her contempt and disdain for me. She looked down on me.
So I went to find Tang Fan.
"We put on a show together, pretending we didn't know about the data error and handed the document over. Sure enough, someone immediately got upset and came to complain."
I looked at Su Xiaohong.
She gritted her teeth slightly. "You said these were all fabricated, without any evidence. I've been with Mr. Zhou for so many years and he trusted me deeply. How can a newcomer like you possibly can replace me? I don't need to do these things at all!"
"Whether you need it or not is your business." I don't want to guess her motives, I am only responsible for exposing her actions.
"The fact is that you gave me a document with incorrect data, urged me to complete it overnight, and then used this document to find fault with me."
Tang Fan said coldly, "I can testify that Miss Mu Yan discovered the problem with the data from the very beginning. The reason she didn't tell President Zhou was that she wanted to see if the error was due to negligence or human error."
We all looked at Su Xiaohong, and she finally panicked. "Boss Zhou, the two of them must have colluded to frame me. I didn't do it. I really didn't do these things!"
"How long have you been with me?"
Zhou Chenyan asked,
Looking back on the past, this was a very bad sign. Su Xiaohong burst into tears in panic, "Yes, it's been four years..."

His voice was cold and warning.
