I almost threw my phone away.
Thinking of Zhou Chenyan's rejection of Han Qi, I hurriedly said, "I have something to do, I'll hang up first."
Zhou Chenyan laughed, his eyes full of meaning, "Why are you in such a hurry to hang up? Can't you let me know who you're talking to on the phone?"

"There is a project that we are working on together. We have to go together to sign the contract in a few days. This is official business." Even if he hates Han Qi, he can't stop me from going to work!
"You're not allowed to go."
He is domineering and almost brutal.
I didn't understand, "Are you crazy? This is for the project!"

Zhou Chenyan warned in a deep voice and left.
I looked at his back and gritted my teeth. This guy is simply sick!

Han Qi called me at noon that day.

I lowered my head to change my shoes.
"Going out to buy something."
"What do you want to buy? I'll have someone bring it back for you."
He took off his coat as he walked, as if it was just a casual remark.
"No, it's a rare break. I'll go out for a walk. You should go have breakfast."
He paused slightly, "You care about me?"
I hesitated for a moment, but nodded to get by.
He then smiled and said, "Go ahead. The sooner you go, the sooner you'll be back."
I gave him a complicated look.
For the first time, I realized that he also likes sweet words.
Even if it's a lie.
I came to a teahouse. This was the place where Han Qi and I had agreed to sign a contract with a client. The private room was booked in advance, so I went in and ordered a pot of tea first.
After waiting for about half an hour, the person still didn't arrive.
But the time we agreed upon has come.
I called Han Qi, but I couldn't get through. At first, no one answered, and later on, the call just couldn't go through.
Could something have happened?
I'm a little worried.
But the call wasn't going through, and I couldn't leave rashly, for fear that Han Qi or a client would show up later and there would be no one here.
Time slipped away little by little, until an hour later, I was finally sure that no one would come.
Han Qi’s phone could never be reached, even the client’s phone was unreachable.
I can only go back to the company.
When I passed by the design department, I happened to hear laughter coming from inside.
"Oh, Gardenia, you're amazing. You've made such a great contribution not long after joining the company."
"I didn't expect today to be so smooth."
Zhou Zhizi's humble voice sounded.
"Of course, the success is because you have strong abilities."
"Yeah, look at some people who have been in the company for so long and haven't completed a single decent project."
"Gardenia is still the best."
Everyone was talking and laughing.
I listened to a few words and was about to turn around and leave.
Unexpectedly, someone saw him.
"Mu Yan, why are you here?"
I stopped and said, "Just came back from outside."
"You're back just in time. Gardenia completed a big project today, and we were all congratulating her."
"Aren't you going to say congratulations? We're all colleagues after all."
"He's the CEO's assistant now, how can he still look down on us?"
"Oh, don't say that."
"Are you guys done yet?" Cancan suddenly slammed the table and stood up. "You've been chattering non-stop since just now. Are you going to let me work? Can you please shut up for a while?"
Cancan is usually a lively, cheerful and easy-going girl. This is the first time she has gotten so angry.
