"She is my wife. Our affairs have nothing to do with you. Let her go."
Zhou Chenyan's face was filled with gloom, and his eyes, sharp as a knife, stared at Han Qi's hand.
Han Qi said calmly, "Even though she is your wife now, you should still respect her. If she doesn't want to go with you, you shouldn't force her."
"It's none of your business, let go."
Zhou Chen spoke each word with emphasis.
It is clearly on the verge of an explosion.
I don't want to have a conflict with him at this time and place, nor do I want to implicate Han Qi. After all, Zhou Chenyan has always regarded the team leader as a thorn in his side.
I took a deep breath and said, "Team Leader, thank you for today. You can go back first."
Han Qi was worried, "Are you okay?"
"Okay or not, what does it have to do with you?"
Zhou Chenyan said coldly.
Han Qi ignored him, probably because he didn't want to embarrass me, and slowly let go of my hand. "Remember my words, contact me if you have any difficulties."
I nodded.
As I watched Han Qi leave, a voice as cold as ice sounded in my ears.
"You haven't seen enough yet, do you want to catch up and talk more?"
"But I suggest you change the date location. This place is not suitable for romance."
"You misunderstood." I was too lazy to explain.
Zhou Chenyan sneered, "I have eyes to see for myself, Mu Yan, I warned you not to get too close to Han Qi, but you always seem to ignore my words."
This was too harsh to hear. I endured it again and again, but still couldn't help but refute it.
"We met by chance."
"Meet by chance?"
Zhou Chenyan seemed to be about to say something, but at this time a few nurses passed by. He paused, pulled me and just stood there.
After the nurse left, he forcibly pulled me into the bathroom at the other end of the corridor.
As soon as the door was closed, he pressed me against it.
His expression was gloomy to the extreme. "We met by chance and sat together, chatting happily and hugging each other. Why didn't he let me take you away? Would ordinary friends meddle in the affairs of other couples?"
He was aggressive and relentless.
"Does he like you?"
"I'm not a RMB, everyone loves me."
Although Han Qi did say that he liked me, I would never tell Zhou Chenyan.
Otherwise, there's no telling what this madman might do.
He pinched my chin hard, forcing me to lift my head, and his fingertips slid slowly along my cheek to my neck.
The palms were slightly closed, and a feeling of oppression came over me.
I looked at him calmly, "If you don't believe me, no matter how much I say, it will be useless."
"It's okay, just keep explaining and let me hear what else you have to say."
Zhou Chenyan had a smile on his face, but it didn't show in his eyes.
I lowered my eyes. "If you insist on thinking that I am that kind of person, then I have nothing to say."
"You're speechless now, and now you're admitting it directly, right?!"
Zhou Chenyan was so angry that he laughed. He lowered his voice and added a bit of ferocity. "Mu Yan, remember this: stay away from other men. This is my bottom line. If you don't obey, don't blame me."
"What do you want?"
I saw a vigilant and cautious version of myself in his pupils. I wonder if this expression pleased him.
He suddenly laughed and said, "You came to the hospital today for your brother, right?"
My younger brother is now an insurmountable warning line in my heart. I gritted my teeth, tensed my whole body, and stared at him.
His fingertips brushed across my face, as light as the touch of a feather.
"The cost of your brother's follow-up treatment is a huge sum. Can you afford it?"
He enjoyed my anger.
"You can't, but I can."
"So, what do you want to exchange this for with me?"
I know he won't help me for nothing.
There must be a purpose.
"I really like you more and more. You are much smarter now than before." The voice was low, like a lover's whisper.
But I felt a chill in my heart.
"what would you like?"
"I want... you." He paused deliberately, as if he was teasing me. "Listen to me and stay away from Han Qi. Otherwise, your brother will be kicked out of the hospital."
"I can take him to another hospital."
I don't believe he can control all the hospitals in this city.
Zhou Chenyan smiled and said, "Then you try and see if anyone is willing to take you in."
I gritted my teeth and eventually even tasted blood.
He stroked my hair gently, and there was a lot of ambiguity.
"The professor treated your brother. Who do you think he was doing this for? You? Or your sickly brother?"
I understand what he means.
Of course the professor was doing this for his sake. The professor and I were not familiar with each other at all and had never met before.
It is impossible to get the professor to agree to stay in the country.
But Zhou Chenyan can.
"I'll give you time to think about it. A smart person should know what to do."
He suddenly took a step back, walked past me, opened the door and walked out.
The bathroom fell into silence.
I slowly sat down on the ground along the door panel. The ground was icy cold, but not as cold as the coldness in my heart.
Coercion and inducement.
It turned out to be Zhou Chenyan’s method.
I washed my face with cold water and then turned and left the bathroom.
Zhou Chenyan hasn't left yet.
"Have you thought about it?"
At this point, do I have any other choice?
My brother is at a critical moment and cannot afford to make any mistakes because of me.
