I want to look up at Zhuang Qiling.
"What was the news you mentioned earlier?"
Zhuang Qiling pursed her lips and said, "I found the driver of Zhou Zhizi's father."
"Where did you find it?"
"It's a long story. Anyway, this driver should know something, but he won't tell me." Zhuang Qiling frowned in annoyance. "I'm trying to figure out how to pry this secret out of him."
I lowered my eyes slightly. "Qiling, who else knows that you found this driver?"
"No one knows anymore, I just told you."
I bit my lip and an idea suddenly popped into my mind.
But it's not certain yet.
"I need to give it a try."
Zhuang Qiling frowned, "What are you talking about?"
"Listen to me, don't contact this driver anymore for now, and don't investigate this matter any further. Everything just stops."
Zhuang Qiling was reluctant. "But we finally found this driver and have just made some progress. If we stop now, all our efforts will be in vain. Besides, this driver is a living person. What if he runs away?"
"I'm only doing this for your own good, Qiling. Zhou Zhizi attacked my brother."
Zhuang Qiling opened her eyes wide and slammed the table.
"She's sick!"
The sound startled the other guests and made them look at us.
Zhuang Qiling quickly sat down and lowered her voice, "Is this woman crazy? What did she do?"
I told her everything that had happened at the picnic.
He solemnly warned her, "Listen to me and don't contact that driver for the time being. I need to confirm some things now. I don't want you to have any accidents like my brother did."
