Zhou Chenyan hasn't been home for several days, and I'm happy about that.
A person happily guards a home.
It's quite comfortable.
The only pity is that I don’t like cooking. I used to love cooking and always felt that it was very heartwarming to cook a table of food for the whole family to eat together.
But maybe every time I finish cooking, I feel too tired to wait for someone.
Later I gradually disliked cooking.
But I don’t like eating takeout, so I’m thinking about whether I should pick up cooking again.
Zhou's mother helped me solve this problem.
The next day, a middle-aged woman came to my house. She was the nanny that Zhou's mother found for me.
Sister Wu, in her forties.
The cooking skills are particularly good.
I have hot meals to eat every day when I get off work, and I feel so good.
Until Zhou Chenyan suddenly came back.
He had a sour face.
I don’t know what got him angry. I was eating and didn’t want to pay attention to him.
He sat down opposite me and suddenly sneered.
"I thought you really didn't care, but you turned around and complained. Mu Yan, when will you change your hypocritical habit?"
I looked up at him, "What are you talking about?"
"Keep pretending."
I frowned slightly, "I don't understand what you mean. Who did I complain to?"
"It's no use telling my mom. Just because I'm back today doesn't mean I'll be back in the future. You'd better save yourself the trouble."
After he said that, he turned and was about to leave.
I can't let him go easily. It makes no sense what he said, and it feels like a huge pot has been put on my head out of nowhere.
"Please explain yourself clearly."
He said coldly, "Still pretending, you are addicted to acting, right?"
I thought carefully about what he just said, and I felt like I understood.
"Did Mom call you?"
He looked at me coldly.
I explained, "I didn't tell Mom that you weren't coming home."
He folded his arms across his chest and glared at me coldly.
"If it's not you, who else could it be? How did Mom know that I wasn't going home and still call me to ask me to go home more often to be with you?"
He pressed closer and grabbed my chin.
"Can't you stand the loneliness? Okay, I'll come back to accompany you."
Suddenly he tried to pick me up horizontally. I was startled and subconsciously grabbed his shoulders. This action made him sneer again.
"Your body is more honest than your mouth."
"Put me down."
"Don't you want me to come back and be with you? Why are you pretending now?"
He carried me upstairs in his arms. I didn't dare struggle when we went up the stairs, for fear that he would lose his hold and drop me.
It wasn't until I reached the second floor and saw his feet on the ground that I pushed him away and struggled to land.
"I repeat, I didn't call Mom."
Push him away and go downstairs.
Suddenly, his eyes caught sight of Sister Wu peeking out of the kitchen.
I seem to understand.
"Sister Wu, is that you?"
Sister Wu looked confused. "Ah? What is the young lady talking about?"
A sarcastic voice came from behind.
"Stop pretending. Are you trying to shirk responsibility?"
I ignored him and walked quickly towards Sister Wu, my eyes sharp. "Mom asked you to come here to cook for me, not to spy on us."
It's such a waste of time!
Sister Wu still refused to admit it. "Young Madam, I really don't understand what you are saying. I didn't do anything."
Zhou Chenyan seemed to have just noticed that there was an extra person in the house. He stared at Sister Wu for a long time, then looked at me.
"I did it, what's wrong with admitting it?"
very good.
He was sure it was me.
Any unnecessary explanation would be futile.
I threw the can down and said, "When did you become so obedient that you come back whenever someone calls you?"
Zhou Chenyan's face darkened, "Is it wrong for me to come back?"
"Actually, I don't mind if you live out there forever."
It would be so nice to live alone in such a big house.
Whenever I see him, I will think of the days when he imprisoned me in my previous life, and the suffocating shadow lingers.
"You want to move out? I have no problem with that. I can help you pack your luggage."
My sincere advice.
He was so angry that he laughed, "Mu Yan, this is my house."
"Then I can move out."
I was just waiting for him to say this.
Without saying a word, he went upstairs to pack his luggage.
As soon as he took out the suitcase, he pressed the lid of the suitcase with one hand.
"If you move out now, Mom will accuse me of bullying you. Mu Yan, you really want to turn our good life upside down, don't you?"
Neither this nor that works.
I threw the suitcase to the ground and asked, "So what do you want?"
He was suddenly stunned.
I looked at his expression and realized that this was once his line.
Told me countless times.
He came home late and met Zhou Zhizi, and we were in a cold war.
Every time I wanted to have a good chat with him, he would ask me impatiently.
"What do you want?"
I looked at him and suddenly felt like laughing. "You said this, so can't others say it? If someone else said it to you, would you feel uncomfortable?"
God knows how tortured I was by this sentence.
This marriage made me realize one thing.
The most terrifying thing is not quarreling with someone, but that person does not communicate with you at all.
"Mu Yan, you're so hypocritical." He was still certain that I was the one calling to complain. "The more you try to do this, the less likely I'll come back, because you make me sick."
I wished, "Then take care."
Zhou Chenyan's face darkened and he slammed the door and left.
