Before I could press the photo button, the two people had already noticed me. Zhou Chenyan pushed Zhou Zhizi away, frowning angrily, "What are you doing here?"
I asked coldly, "Can't I come? Isn't this my home?"
Zhou Chenyan was speechless.
"Sister, please don't misunderstand me. I accidentally bumped into my leg and almost fell. Ah Yan was anxious and helped me up. Please don't be too sensitive!"
I pointed to my eyes and said, "I only believe what I see with my own eyes. I won't disturb your world of two. Please continue."
Zhou Zhizi hurriedly chased after me and held my hand tightly, "Sister Yanyan, don't be angry, this is really a misunderstanding. Ah Yan and I have absolutely never done anything to let you down!"
She grabbed my wrist so hard that it hurt. I frowned and tried to pry her hand away, but she fell to the ground and slapped herself in the face.
I was stunned.
She sobbed aggrievedly, "I'm sorry, Sister Yanyan must be angry with me. I apologize to you. Please don't blame me, and don't get angry with A Yan. If you don't like me, I don't have to come to your house in the future."
Zhou Chenyan pulled her up and looked at her red and swollen face with some heartache, "What are you doing?"
Zhou Zhizi buried her head in his arms and cried.
Zhou Chenyan had a headache and said to me, "It really is a misunderstanding. I wouldn't do something like this at home."
They both looked so innocent, and I became the evil woman who refused to give in.
"What did I say? You two were the ones talking the whole time. I didn't even say I cared. I'm sorry for disturbing you. Please continue."
I turned and left.
He even closed the door considerately.
About five minutes later, Zhou Zhizi also came down from upstairs. Aunt Amei happened to come out of the kitchen, and the two greeted each other.
Acting like a stranger.
"Miss Zhou!"
Zhou Zhizi smiled brightly, "You must be the nanny that Ah Yan hired. Ah Yan said that you are a very good cook and the food you make is very delicious. I must try it if I have the chance."
Auntie Amei smiled and said, "It's just right that Miss Zhou came today. I was preparing a big meal. My husband and wife rarely have a day off today, and Miss Zhou's arrival will make things even more lively."
Zhou Zhizi's eyes were filled with impatience, "Then I'm really looking forward to it."
The two of them were talking to themselves, completely ignoring my opinion.
I was thinking whether to kick them out directly or leave them here while I left.
Zhou Chenyan also came downstairs and said calmly, "Since you're here, stay for dinner."
Zhou Zhizi smiled and said, "Okay."
She and Zhou Chenyan sat on the sofa, chattering about daily life, and Zhou Chenyan listened patiently.
Aunt Amei was busy in the kitchen. I was standing at the door and suddenly had a feeling.
I am the outsider in this family
They are like a newlywed couple, loving and sweet.
I turned and walked towards the door.
"Mu Yan."
When I heard the voice, I rolled my eyes, pretended not to hear it, and continued walking out the door.
"Mu Yan!"
This time the tone was noticeably colder.
I paused, turned around and gave a fake smile, "What's up?"
"Where are you going?"
"I'm having dinner with a friend."
"Just stay home today." Zhou Chenyan said to me, "Gardenia rarely comes over. As her sister-in-law, shouldn't you stay and entertain her?"
sister in law? !
This is the first time he has used this name since we got married.
I even saw Zhou Zhizi's surprised face
Zhou Chenyan seemed not to notice anything strange between us and stretched out a hand towards me, "Come here."
I looked at him like I'd seen a ghost.
Is this person okay?
Does he really think that Zhou Zhizi and I can coexist peacefully?
That's simply impossible!
If I didn't go over, he would keep his hands raised in the air.
I glanced at Zhou Zhizi.
She forced a smile and said, "Sister Yanyan, just come here."
"sister in law."
Zhou Zhizi was stunned. "What?"
Zhou Chenyan repeated, "You should call her sister-in-law."
Zhou Zhizi stared slightly, biting her lips, and said softly, "Sister-in-law..."
Like the wind, it blows past.
In her two lifetimes combined, this was the first time she changed her words at Zhou Chenyan's order.
Before I could react, she ran away covering her face as if she had suffered a great injustice.
I stared at the door blankly.
"Aren't you going to chase her?"
Zhou Chenyan said calmly, "She will come back on her own."
Damn it.
I looked at him in disbelief. Zhou Chenyan was really weird today.
I have to give him a shot in advance.
"I told you in advance that I wasn't the one who kicked her out today. If she encounters anything outside again, don't try to blame me."
Zhou Chenyan chuckled, "Am I that unreasonable?"
"So do you think you're reasonable?"
Why is it so funny when this sentence comes out of his mouth?
Zhou Chenyan touched his chin and said, "I think I am reasonable."
I tried to hold it back, but I couldn't help it and rolled my eyes.
He was at his ease, "It's ugly."
"...I didn't let you see it." This guy is just as annoying as ever.
Zhou Zhizi didn't come back before dinner.
Zhou Chenyan still went out to look for it.
In the end, both of them left and never came back. I sat down to eat peacefully. It would have been better if they hadn't come back, so as not to affect my appetite.
But I couldn't help but feel that someone was nagging me.
