Chapter 131 Huang Momo, Stop Hiding

Chapter 131 Huang Momo, Stop Hiding

Under the eaves, with the surveillance camera flashing red, Momo crouched down and escaped beneath it, then went downstairs.

The area downstairs remained quiet, but a few people stood on night duty at the main gate in the distance.

Momo bent over and went around the house, then went to the back.

The moonlight outside was much better than inside; it was still bright enough to illuminate the road ahead.

Momo ran quickly toward the broken iron fence. She had seen her surroundings clearly during the day, but in the pitch-black night, she still felt somewhat unfamiliar with the place.

Looking at the dense trees and the fences that looked much the same everywhere, she seemed a little disoriented.

Momo wandered through the woods, searching for the right direction, looking somewhat anxious.

She remembered that there were trees all around her laden with red berries, and the moonlight was so bright that the red color would have been very noticeable.

Thinking this, she bent down to search for that patch of red.

They were somewhat cautious, afraid of going the wrong way and wasting time.

After about ten minutes, she finally found the place by following the iron fence along the way.

She was a little excited, so she immediately ran over and removed the broken iron fence, then without hesitation, she lay down on the ground and crawled forward.

Even after all the broken iron bars were removed, the area was still very small, and Momo got stuck as soon as she stuck her head out.

She tried her best to pull her shoulders inward, but in doing so, she had to hunch her body slightly.

The broken iron block above had curled, somewhat sharp edges.

She had barely lifted her body a little when the rolled-up, sharp iron block pierced her waist.

She couldn't help but hiss, then continued crawling forward with renewed vigor.

But as soon as half of her body was exposed, Momo felt her clothes being torn open on the back, and the metal block moved backward along her waist, causing excruciating pain to her flesh.

She endured the pain and continued to squeeze outwards little by little, as if she could feel the flesh on her back being pulled back inch by inch.

At that moment, she didn't care about anything else; all she wanted to do was climb out, and climb out as quickly as possible.

It took her about ten minutes to get her completely out of the iron fence, and she was covered in bruises.

Momo lay on the ground catching her breath, then immediately got up again.

She turned to look inside the fence; it was pitch black, yet she felt a strange sense of relief.

She looked up at the bright moon, its light spreading out and falling on the girl, and she seemed to see hope.

Then Momo ran forward without hesitation.

The training ground is surrounded by dense woods and bushes, and soldiers stand guard and patrol around it at night.

In the dark, dense forest, the call of the greywood owl was extremely terrifying, sounding almost indistinguishable from the pitiful cries of a baby.

Momo was so scared that her hand holding the gun was trembling uncontrollably. She bent down and looked around, tiptoed across the grass that was about knee-high, and then carefully moved forward.

She was surrounded by soldiers; if she made any sudden movements, she wouldn't be able to take any further action.

They might even be shot dead as ambushers.

Only by passing through this forest could she escape the sight of those carrying submachine guns and run forward without any worries.

She looked fearfully at the people not far away, while also keeping an eye on her line of sight ahead. She couldn't walk too fast, otherwise the rustling sound of her calves scraping against the grass would be more noticeable.

She had just taken a step forward when she suddenly heard a slight thud; she had stepped on something.

Momo's heart pounded wildly.

Oh no, could it be a landmine?

The next second, pain struck, and she looked down to look. By the moonlight, she could see that it was a hunting trap.

She was too nervous just now, and when she stepped on it, she only felt a buzzing in her head and didn't feel any pain down there.

It was a false alarm, but Momo felt disheartened as she watched the blood trickling down her feet through her shoes, causing her to lose heart. This would also affect her plans for the evening.

An injured foot is never as good as a normal one.

And how do I remove this clip?

Although the clip is quite worn out, probably because it has been left here for a long time, its strength is still considerable.

She quickly squatted down and tried to pull the springs apart, but they only managed to pull them halfway before they snapped back to their original positions as she let go.

In that instant, the impact on the foot aggravated the injury.

Momo bit her lip, enduring the intense pain without making a sound, and then used all her strength to forcefully tear a space on both sides, taking out her foot from inside.

She threw away the clip in her hand, picked up the gun, and dragged her injured leg forward.

The girl hunched over and finally made her way across the meadow before disappearing into the grove of trees ahead.

Ignoring her injuries, she ran forward with all her might.

After running only a few steps, a huge beam of light shot directly at them from the front.

Countless electric lights then lit up around her, trapping her in the middle.

In that instant, she was like a criminal being arrested, just waiting to be caught.

Momo instinctively hid the gun in her hand, then covered her face to block out the light and immediately hid behind a large tree nearby.

"Huang Momo, stop hiding. You're more skilled at handling a gun than you are in bed."

"By the way, you really need to work on your skills in bed."

Momo's heart sank like a stone into the sea; the appearance of that familiar voice extinguished all her hopes.

She hid behind a big tree, now filled with nothing but disappointment and despair.

"come out."

The man suppressed his anger and spoke to the person hiding behind the tree.

Momo's heart skipped a beat, but she remained hidden there, motionless.

The man sneered, having no patience to repeat himself, and looked directly at Sawa beside him.

The next second, Sawa, holding a submachine gun, flashed a muzzle flash and fired a barrage of bullets directly at the tree.

"Ah...!" Momo jumped around in fright.

"Don't kill me."

The bullets being fired at her haphazardly made her feel like she was close to death, and her plea for mercy was almost an instinctive reaction to survive.

Momo immediately ran out from behind the big tree without hesitation.

In that instant, the blinding light was focused on her face again, and she instinctively reached out to shield her eyes.

Fu Yungui walked towards her with his hands in his pockets, following the light, his face expressionless.

He stopped just two steps away from the girl, leaned down slightly, and stared at her face.

Momo's face was covered in dirt and a little blood, and the back of her clothes were torn.

She looked extremely disheveled and pitiful.

The man stared at her for a few moments, then couldn't help but smile.

"The worst thing for someone who wants to do great things is to have a soft heart."

"Look at you, if you had just pressed the button and killed me, wouldn't you have hope of freedom now?"

Momo was nervous and kept her head down in silence. She had hesitated and dared not, but she knew that even if she killed him, she might not be able to escape this place.

Fu Yungui suppressed his smile, reached out and pinched her chin, lifting her head to look at him.
