Chapter 136 Are you saying I'm love-struck?

Chapter 136 Are you saying I'm love-struck?

"I'm not in the mood."

The man held a cigarette between his fingers, slowly exhaling smoke rings.

"Huh?" William exclaimed in surprise, walking over to the sofa next to him and sitting down. "You're not even going to make money anymore?"

"Women are not as important as money, Fu. Don't be confused. With money, you can have any kind of woman. Besides, why would you do this for a woman?"

William is outspoken and speaks without any regard for consequences.

Upon hearing this, the man, with a cigarette dangling from his lips, turned and looked at her with a gaze that could kill.

William was startled and immediately realized he had said the wrong thing. He smiled awkwardly, glanced at the man's gaze, and dared not say another word.

Sawa, watching from the side, couldn't help but cover his eyes and sigh repeatedly, saying he couldn't bear to watch.

That foreign devil...

It's hopeless.

I was just communicating with him in an internationally recognized language, his very native tongue, and I didn't even speak Thai. How come he can't understand me?

It seems he still felt that the remaining half bag was a bit too much.

They're so eager to make themselves childless and without descendants.

"What do you mean?" The man then stared at William with a slight smile.

Are you saying I'm love-struck?

“…” William was taken aback and gasped. He immediately denied it three times, “No, no, that’s not what I meant.”

"Fu, don't misunderstand what they mean."

The man stubbed out his cigarette, leaned back on the sofa, and spoke casually.

"Then tell me what you mean!"

William glanced at him, paused for a moment, then shook his head. "I won't say." Saying it would only make it easier to lose his life.

"Get out if you're not going to talk."

"..." William pressed his hand to calm himself down. This man's temper was really unusually strong today, it really scared him to death.

“Well…” William gave a dry laugh, “Fu, in my experience, you might feel this way when you have one woman, but when you have a group of them, it doesn’t matter.”

The implication is that there are still fewer men than women.

Even when he's just starting to understand things, he's too attentive to women.

"roll!"

Sawa was startled and, without waiting for the man to give any orders, immediately grabbed the foreigner next to her and dragged him out in a few quick movements.

Anu stood there, completely bewildered by what was happening. He only saw Sawa dragging something like a corpse as he ran outside in a flash, as if being chased by dogs, running for his life.

He glanced furtively at the person on the sofa, then froze, too afraid to move.

William was dragged outside, looking bewildered. He looked at Shava, who was staring at him speechlessly, and felt wronged.

“Sawa, didn’t that man say, ‘If you don’t talk, get out’? Why did he tell me to get out after I told him?”

Shava looked at him, speechless. It was the first time he had ever felt Anu's speechlessness when he looked at him. "He told you to speak, not to talk nonsense."

"Who told you to be so reckless as to spout nonsense at that angry man?"

William felt wronged, but he remained silent.

Looking at his expression, Sawa couldn't help but laugh. This time, he had finally found a scapegoat. Otherwise, he was always the one who suffered when that man got angry.

Heavens above! He wanted to look up and howl, "My God, you've finally learned to treat me better!"

Finally, she was no longer that man's only punching bag.

This foreigner's arrival is really timely. It seems I should treat him better in the future; at least someone will suffer for me.

After Fu Yungui was called away by Anu, Sang Ma came upstairs with her medicine box a short while later.

The door was wide open, and Aunt Sang still stood outside and knocked on the door. There was no response from inside. She paused, a little worried, and then pushed the door open.

"Miss Momo," she called out, but still no one answered.

The room was empty. Sang Ma took a few steps forward and saw the person in the bathroom, who was completely submerged in water.

"Miss Momo!" Aunt Sang exclaimed, immediately putting down what she was holding and running over to pull the girl above the water.

"How could you be so foolish?"

Looking at her, Sang's mother felt a pang of heartache. How could she have become like this in just a few hours?

She deliberately didn't go home tonight because she was a little worried.

She was worried about the girl, afraid that she wouldn't be able to escape.

She didn't sleep well all night until a few hours ago when she heard rustling sounds outside and immediately knew what had happened.

But she didn't expect that not only would she not escape, but she would also be covered in injuries and now she's having second thoughts.

Momo choked on several mouthfuls of water and was coughing violently. She looked up at Aunt Sang, paused for a moment, and gave her a slight smile.

“Auntie Sang, I wasn’t thinking anything of doing anything. I was just tired, so I fell asleep here and then I slid down.”

Aunt Sang looked incredulous, but didn't ask any further questions.

"Momo, although I know you are in a lot of pain right now, it's better to live a miserable life than to die."

"Only by surviving can there be hope."

You can't give up on yourself first.

Sang's mother encouraged her, hoping that she could rekindle her hope to live.

Momo forced a smile and nodded at her.

She knew that Aunt Sang was genuinely concerned about her, but she also knew that Aunt Sang didn't understand the situation and that she had little chance of escaping again.

But she didn't want to explain anything more to Aunt Sang, because she knew it would be difficult to explain, and she was afraid that if Aunt Sang knew too much, it would only harm her.

Seeing how haggard she looked, Aunt Sang didn't say anything more. She helped her out of the bathtub, treated her wounds, and changed her into clean clothes.

The girl remained lying there obediently, lifeless.

"Momo, you should rest well. I'll go make you something to eat," Aunt Sang said to the person on the bed.

"No need, Aunt Sang, thank you. I have no appetite right now and don't want to eat anything." The girl lay there with her back to Aunt Sang, her voice sounding weak.

Aunt Sang paused for a moment, realizing that she probably wasn't in the mood to eat, so she didn't press her further. "Okay, then let me know when you want to eat."

"Hmm," the girl hummed.

Aunt Sang stared at the person on the bed for a few more moments, then sighed softly and left.

Momo lay motionless on the bed. After a long while, she seemed to suddenly remember something, propped herself up, and wanted to find something in her suitcase.

I searched for a long time but couldn't find the birth control pills that Dr. Wendy had given me.

She remembered that it had been placed here before.

The girl's face was filled with anxiety and despair.

She searched almost the entire room but couldn't find it.

She returned to bed dejectedly, but she roughly understood what had happened.

My suitcase must have been searched.

Momo lay there, barely alive, her heart sinking into the sea.
