Chapter 174 Are you scared to stay here tonight?
A perfectly normal statement sounds incredibly harsh to a man.
Is this implying that he's naturally wild and no one cares about him?
Very good, now this little cat knows how to curse without using swear words, it's incredibly sharp-tongued.
After Momo finished speaking, she kept her head down and looked at the silent person opposite her. Suddenly, she paused and realized that her words might have been a bit offensive.
She knew that Fu Yungui had lost his mother at a very young age, so saying that was indeed a bit much.
No matter what, you shouldn't reopen old wounds, especially when it comes to your parents' painful memories.
However, when she said it just now, she really didn't think that much about it, nor was she intentionally trying to be sarcastic or anything.
It was just a sentence that came out without thinking.
As Momo thought this, she looked up at the man again. This time, her eyes were less sharp and more apologetic.
However, the man interpreted that look in his eyes quite differently.
She's so gentle and sweet, just like a plump and juicy little deer, it's incredibly alluring.
"Yellow Jasmine".
The man called her name, and his large hand reached out to her, pinching her cheek. It was still smooth and soft; after staying in this place for so long, her skin was still so good.
"What?" Because of what she had just said, the girl's tone was slightly more friendly now.
"Have you finished eating?" the man asked, staring at her.
Momo paused, wondering why he was asking this, but she still glanced down at her food, which seemed to be almost ready.
She could feel that she was full.
"That's about it, what's wrong?" the girl asked after she finished speaking.
"After you've finished eating, go upstairs and pack your things."
Fu Yungui leaned back there lazily, but his eyes never left her, as if this woman had some kind of magic that he could never get enough of looking at.
Upon hearing this, the girl immediately looked up, abruptly meeting the man's gaze, and asked somewhat nervously, "Why are you packing your things?"
The man raised an eyebrow at her. "Didn't you say you'd take me home as soon as you got back?"
Momo was stunned when she heard this. She subconsciously pursed her lips and looked at him, hardly believing it.
"Really?" After a long while, he asked again to confirm.
"Of course." The man smiled, seeing that she was genuinely happy and truly believed in him this time.
"It's just a trip to Wa State first. I have some things to take care of. I'll take you there directly afterward, okay?"
Although I had already decided to bring her along this time, I still asked for her opinion.
Without a second thought, Momo agreed, "Okay."
The man chuckled. The kitten's resolute agreement showed just how eager it was to go home.
I probably didn't even hear clearly where we were going.
However, he didn't explain further, since the less she knew about what he was going there to do, the better.
Otherwise, if she finds out that she's going there to kill Bian Xi, she'll probably have another falling out with her.
"I'm done eating, I'm going upstairs now." Momo stood up and spoke to him in a soft voice, sounding extremely obedient.
This time, she noticed a slight smile on the man's face, which pleased him greatly.
Fu Yungui glanced at her and immediately said generously, "Okay."
Upon hearing this, Momo immediately headed towards the stairwell without hesitation.
The man's gaze followed her intently, watching as her exposed, fair ankles climbed upwards layer by layer.
The man tilted his head slightly to stare, and couldn't help but smile. Even from her back, you could feel how happy she was.
How happy must they be?
It's just going home, but I'm more excited than if I won the lottery.
If taking her back home once can make her this happy, then it's worth it even if we only go back once a week from now on.
At 2 PM, a group of people set off on time.
The helicopter took about two hours to reach the Wa State region.
In Wa State, Fu Yungui has no base. This place is basically all about drugs. Before the ban on drugs, the entire village of Gagen was covered with poppies.
It's absolutely gorgeous at first glance.
But the price of such beauty is far too high; behind every beauty lies a bloody loss of life.
Since the ban on drugs, things have calmed down a bit, but because the profits from drugs are so huge, many people are still secretly growing them.
Because of the need to survive, the local conditions mean that other vegetable crops simply cannot be transported out for sale.
Even if they were manually moved down the mountain to sell, their economic value would be less than one-tenth that of drugs, and they wouldn't be able to support a family at all.
Therefore, many people who are driven to desperation will secretly plant crops, even at the risk of their lives.
After Momo stepped off the helicopter, she was greeted by a dense forest.
They stopped at a very secluded spot at the foot of the mountain, where the view from the outside was obscured by dense woods.
Behind them were several dilapidated houses, and the sound of rushing water could be heard from behind them.
Momo was drawn there by the sound of flowing water. She turned around and walked a little further, and saw a small river. Water flowing down from the mountain flowed directly into the river and rushed forward.
The stream wasn't very wide, but it was so deep you couldn't see the bottom.
The scenery here is nice, but it's gloomy and a bit chilly if you stay here for too long.
"Yellow Jasmine".
After Fu Yungui finished explaining things to Nar, he turned around and saw the girl standing there, looking at something very intently.
"Hmm?" Momo heard the voice and came over.
"Don't wander around, there are a lot of snakes and insects here, you'll get bitten again."
The man wasn't saying this to scare her; he genuinely cared.
"Oh," the girl responded, glancing around instinctively and becoming nervous. She then stayed close to him without wandering off.
However, she didn't quite understand why Fu Yungui had come here.
This place clearly doesn't look like a suitable place to conduct business. Last time William found a much better place, but that man still yelled at him.
So this is definitely not a place to discuss business.
But if it's not for business, then what are we here for? It's deserted, there's nothing here.
Momo was a little confused, but she didn't ask any more questions.
Because she knew that if the man didn't want to talk about it, asking him wouldn't necessarily be of any use.
Nar and Nighthawk received the man's orders and went on a mission, while the rest of the people stayed behind to tidy up the house.
They're staying here tonight. If things go smoothly tomorrow, it'll be one night; if not, it'll probably be two nights.
After Fu Yungui finished explaining things, he had nothing to do, so he put his hand on Momo's shoulder, covering half of the girl's body in his arms, making her look even more petite.
"Are you scared to stay here tonight?" the man asked, leaning closer to her.
Upon hearing this, the girl paused, and before she could speak, her tense body gave the answer.
