Chapter 181 Accidental Injury
A short while later, a group of people in front entered the firing range. Anu glanced around through the scope and immediately spoke calmly.
"Wait until all targets are within the ambush zone."
"receive."
After the sounds from the headphones began to play, the man's nonchalant voice finally came through.
"Attention all groups, be vigilant and observe your surroundings, and be alert for any changes."
"Received." Anu spoke first, knowing that Brother Yun should have already come this way from the blockade, so he took the initiative to hand over the command back.
Fu Yungui, holding his gun, glanced around at the surroundings with one hand while using a US military M3 binocular.
The red horizontal bars inside kept jumping and spreading outwards.
The weather brightened slightly after the rain, and in the lush green forest, the troops of people and livestock moved forward in an orderly fashion.
The road was winding and meandering, but the livestock carrying the goods walked very briskly.
The man frowned slightly, sensing that something seemed amiss.
"Attention all groups, take aim at the target."
"receive."
The man's eyes darkened. He put down his binoculars, picked up his gun, cocked it, and suddenly aimed forward.
The next second, a serious and earnest voice came from the communication device.
"Point A is for taking care of the snakehead."
"Point B, right wing three."
"Point C, left wing two."
"Strike the heavily armed target at point D."
"Continue to lie in wait at point E to seal the breach. Leave no survivors. Over."
"Received." came the unanimous reply. The next second, everyone stood in their positions, aiming at the oncoming target.
As soon as the human and animal troops entered the ambush zone, the man took aim and pulled the trigger without hesitation.
"Bang!"
A bullet, hurtling swiftly from the side, pierced the leader's left eye and exited from the right side of the back of his head. The man, still holding his gun, fell straight down, eyes wide open.
The next second, gunshots rang out.
"Oh no, an ambush! Retreat!" someone in the crowd suddenly shouted, then grabbed the animal's rope and tried to turn it around.
"retreat."
Everyone reacted immediately, turning around, drawing their guns, and firing as they retreated, returning fire in the direction from which the bullets came. Countless flashes of gunfire filled the forest, their sounds clearly audible down the mountain.
A moment later, a sound came from the communication device.
"Point A confirmed, all twelve targets are incapacitated. Over." Nar's voice echoed in the headset.
"Continue monitoring," the man replied.
"receive."
The next second, gunshots rang out again, and Night Hawk's voice came through the earpiece, "The target has failed to escape and five have been killed."
"Seventeen targets have been confirmed to be incapacitated. Over."
As soon as the Night Hawk's voice fell, silence descended upon the surroundings. Everyone was on high alert, searching for the remaining people.
Nar, gun in hand, slipped from behind the dense bushes to behind another tree, and the next second, the indistinct human head appeared in his scope.
"Boss, there's another woman here, but the rose on her chest is quite pretty." Sawa's voice came through the earpiece again.
"Her face is nice too..."
"It's just that I have a bad job. Of all the jobs I could do, I had to choose this one."
Sawa was admiring the sight through the scope when, in the next second, the woman's face was pierced by a bullet, and blood gushed out like a fountain.
"Hey, who is it? How could they be so rude?" A roar came from the earpiece.
"They don't even spare the beautiful women."
"Even if you're going to kill me, at least let me take a few glances first to satisfy my craving, right?"
“I only saw a female poisoner.” Nar’s voice was cold and devoid of emotion in the earpiece.
Upon hearing this, Sawa knew it was him who did it, and he was so angry that his skull felt like it was going to burst.
Just as he was about to argue with Nar, a man's voice came through the earpiece, and Sawa immediately shut up.
"Nar, at three o'clock, take out that MP5."
"Roger that." After responding, Nar quickly darted away, hiding behind a tree, setting up his sniper rifle and aiming at the three o'clock position. He peeked out slightly to confirm the location.
That MP5 submachine gun is extremely powerful, with a rate of fire of nearly 800 rounds per minute. Once your position is discovered, no matter how fast you are, you can't escape.
Without resolving their location here, the rest of them won't be able to move forward.
Nar hunched over and leaned forward, but the target no longer appeared in the scope. "Target disappeared, please give instructions."
"Continue the search. Once found, eliminate them immediately." Fu Yungui's voice remained calm in the earpiece.
"clear."
After answering, Nar quickly lowered his body, hid behind the bushes, and continued searching for his target.
Suddenly, the wind blew and the grass in front of them swayed slightly. Nar immediately fired a shot in that direction to try and expose their position. Then, holding his gun, he grabbed a tree trunk with one hand and climbed up the tree in a few quick movements.
The next second, several shots ricocheted from the bushes in the direction from which the bullets came, piercing through the dense grass and hitting the trees.
Judging from the shooting power, the opponent was using an M15 sniper rifle, not the MP5 from before.
In other words, there isn't just one sniping spot there; there are at least two or more.
"Two o'clock, Sawa, pay attention."
As soon as the man's voice came through the earpiece, Sawa, gun in hand, immediately ran diagonally towards the twelve o'clock position, then slightly adjusted the direction of the muzzle and aimed.
"Target has been spotted." Nar also aimed his gun at the target.
Through the scope, the man fired a few shots at Nal's location before suddenly getting up and running towards them. Halfway there, he suddenly turned right. When Nal saw the bombs surrounding the man, he immediately cried out in alarm.
"Attention, points B and F! These are suicide bombers!"
The next second, a deafening roar erupted, and flames shot into the sky.
The tree trunks in front were blown apart in all directions, with bloody limbs flying everywhere.
"Brother Yun!" That direction was exactly where Fu Yungui was stationed.
There was no response from the earphones.
Night Hawk was closest to Fu Yungui, so he immediately crouched down and crawled through the bushes. The thick smoke rose rapidly, and Night Hawk couldn't see the direction at all.
"It's nothing, everyone stay in your positions," the man replied, lifting the covering from his body.
He reached up and touched his shoulder, where several pieces of bomb shrapnel were embedded, half of them already hardened into his flesh.
Without hesitation, the man pulled out the fragments, and thin streams of blood kept gushing from the wounds, seeping into his black combat uniform.
The next second, the man's face darkened, and his eyes became even darker.
“This group seems to have come prepared,” Anu said.
Typical delivery crews don't carry too many heavy weapons. Carrying too many weapons would only be a burden, making them a prime target, and if discovered, could even jeopardize their goods.
