Chapter 249 We can take advantage of each other
The girl's long hair was casually tied up, revealing her slender white neck and her profile, which was almost entirely bathed in the colors of twilight.
Momo reached out to touch the low-flying seagulls. The bolder ones swooped down and their flapping wings landed on the girl's skirt before flying away from her.
In that instant, the girl's heart melted at the sight of those adorable creatures, and she suddenly felt a strong urge to feed them.
She turned around and looked around; not far away, there really were people selling bread crumbs at a stall.
But it seems I didn't bring any money with me, not even my phone.
There's simply no way to buy food to feed them.
Because the hotel was very close, and she was wearing a dress, she didn't even think about taking her phone when she went out.
The girl paused for a moment, then suddenly realized something and turned around to look behind her.
In the crowd, the man in the black suit stood out with his tall and casual figure, especially his impeccable face, which made people around him turn their heads frequently.
It was precisely because of the many gazes directed at him from the surroundings, especially those who blatantly approached, that the man couldn't help but frown, giving off a look of "keep away, strangers."
Seeing this, Anu walked directly through the crowd toward him, followed by the leisurely Sawa.
The two women stood on either side of the man behind him.
Anu, in particular, stood there upright with an air of righteousness. Under his black short-sleeved shirt, the muscles on his arms were thick and strong, making it seem like he could kill someone with a single punch.
The girl next to her, who had mustered up the courage to approach and strike up a conversation, was immediately startled and took a few steps back.
Momo paused for a moment, then glanced at Sawa, who was standing on the other side.
He was grinning slyly, secretly greeting the pretty girls next to him and exchanging contact information.
Sawa really missed that night he spent here last time. That woman was really skilled, and just thinking about it made him itch with desire. After he finished dealing with Brother Yun's business, he would ask this man for leave.
We can't have come all this way for nothing.
Momo couldn't help but sigh. This Sawa, wherever he went, he couldn't forget to flirt with the girls.
"Fu Yungui".
The girl stood there smiling, calling his name.
Her voice was gentle and soft, but loud enough for everyone around her to hear her calling out to herself.
"Could you come here for a second?"
Upon hearing this, the man raised an eyebrow and curled the corners of his lips.
Then, he walked through the crowd and went to her without hesitation.
After descending the steps, they reached the area where the tide was rising. Seeing him stop, Momo lifted her skirt and walked forward a few steps before standing in front of him.
"What?" The man's voice remained languid.
His gaze fell on the girl's well-behaved face, and he felt very satisfied.
All eyes followed the man and landed on the two of them. Although the gazes weren't malicious, the girl still felt a little embarrassed to be stared at by so many strangers.
She paused, trying to ignore those things, then looked at the man and said, "I want to borrow some money from you."
"Borrow?" The man frowned and asked in a raised voice.
Momo paused for a moment upon hearing his tone, then frowned slightly. "Yes."
"I want to buy something to feed the seagulls. I'll return it to you when I get back. I forgot my phone," the girl kindly explained to him.
As Fu Yungui listened, he couldn't help but look up at the sky a few times. Dense flocks of seagulls were flying everywhere. Then he turned his gaze back to the girl.
Without saying a word, he turned around and waved to Anu behind him.
Anu strode over and, upon hearing the request, immediately pulled out his wallet from his pocket.
The man took a few bills from the wallet and then returned it.
Anu immediately retreated to his original position.
Fu Yungui held a few US dollars, reached out and pulled her over, placing them in the girl's palm.
Momo glanced down at her palm, then looked up at the person opposite her.
For some reason, she felt that the man's face seemed somewhat gloomy.
He seems a little unhappy...
She frowned slightly. Did he not like people asking him for money?
Momo suddenly remembered the time she bought the ring in Bangsalai. She had borrowed money from him then, and the man had been pressing her to pay him back no matter what.
Thinking this way, she became even more certain of her idea.
However, she still wanted to ask clearly, but before she could even open her mouth, she heard the words, "Huang Momo, you are not allowed to borrow from me again."
Momo was suddenly startled and frowned. So that's why he was unhappy.
However, the girl couldn't help but have some doubts.
You can't say thank you, and you can't say you're borrowing money.
What should we say? Should we just ask him for money directly?
This doesn't seem quite appropriate.
It at least sounds rather impolite.
"From now on, everything I own will be yours."
Momo paused for a moment, then said after a pause, "No way. You're so rich, how can I take advantage of you? That's not fair."
The man chuckled, leaned forward slightly, and whispered in her ear, "It's okay, we can take advantage of each other."
"That's fair."
"Huh?" Momo didn't understand what he meant for a moment.
The man straightened up, pinched her cheek, and smiled without saying a word.
After a while, the girl suddenly realized what was happening, and the next second, her face turned bright red.
She instinctively reached out and pushed him, then ran away.
How could you say something like that in public? I don't even know if anyone heard me.
Fu Yungui stood at a distance with his hands in his pockets, watching the fleeing white figure, his smile almost overflowing.
Momo ignored him and went to buy food, then went to feed the seagulls.
A flock of seagulls swarmed over, and the large bag of bread in my hand was quickly emptied.
The girl reached into the bag and took out the last few pieces, ready to finish. But just as she placed them in her palm, before she could even lift them up, a man who had suddenly appeared reached out and snatched one away.
Momo suddenly turned around and saw the man casually toss the bread up on the ground.
Almost simultaneously, the nearest seagulls swooped over, caught the bread, and flew up to higher ground.
"Huang Momo, what's so fun about this?"
Fu Yungui said lazily, and then took another one from her palm.
Momo looked away from him and couldn't help but smile.
That's utterly hypocritical.
As dusk deepened, the sky grew darker.
Anu and Sawa stood still, watching the two people not far away.
The man was wearing a black fitted suit, paired with a white tulle dress by the girl beside him.
From a distance, the two looked like a perfect match.
"Have you had enough fun?" After tossing the last piece of bread up, the man turned to look at her, his tone indulgent.
Momo heard the sound and suddenly turned her head to look.
The girl's nose was red, and her cheeks were flushed, as if the effects of the red wine from that afternoon hadn't worn off yet. The darkening sky made her skin appear even whiter and brighter.
She nodded obediently, and Fu Yungui paused for a moment before kissing her lips.
