Chapter 298 Extra 3: Fu Yungui and Momo

Chapter 298 Extra 3: Fu Yungui and Momo

After dinner, the front yard became relatively quiet.

A cool breeze blew by, and the dense woods in front swayed in the breeze.

Momo had just put A-Yue to sleep when she got down and lay on the rocking chair to look at the stars and pass the time.

The night sky is beautiful tonight, so the stars are very clear and bright.

At that moment, Fu Xuan strolled over from the training ground on the east side.

During the day, he argued with his father and said he would train with Uncle Nal for a month.

He didn't regret it; instead, he was determined to prove to his father that he would never be worse than him in the future.

So as soon as dinner was over, he went with Uncle Nal to the training ground on the east side.

They're having extra training sessions at night now, so he's going to join in to get familiar with it, starting tomorrow.

However, he could also clearly sense that his mother seemed a little unhappy.

I'm angry not only at my dad, but also at myself.

As soon as Fu Xuan reached the flagpole, he saw the people under the tree in the distance.

The clear moonlight filtered through the dense foliage and fell on the woman's face, dappling the light and shadow and illuminating her gentle features.

He paused for a moment, then walked forward without hesitation.

Momo closed her eyes slightly, and as soon as she opened them, she saw the person standing next to her.

Fu Xuan stood there straight, blocking the moonlight streaming down from the sky.

"Mom," he called out.

"Hmm, what?" Momo responded in her usual gentle voice.

“Don’t worry about me,” he said simply.

He knew perfectly well that her anger stemmed entirely from her worry about him.

Momo sat up straight in the chair, looked up at her son, and spoke in a gentle tone.

"Ah Xuan, how can your mother not worry about you?"

“How old are you? Your father was sent to the army for training by your grandfather. Although he was young, he was at least a teenager.”

You're only eight years old.

As Momo spoke, she couldn't help but reach out and touch his face.

Fu Xuan's expression remained indifferent, his sharp eyebrows slightly raised.

Both in appearance and in mind, he far surpasses his peers.

"Mom, don't worry about me so much. I will definitely keep what I told Dad." The boy said earnestly and firmly.

Momo sighed softly and smiled helplessly at him.

"You and your son have exactly the same personality."

Fu Xuan smiled, a rare occurrence, upon hearing this.

He did admit to that.

With that smile, his eyes and brows looked even more like Fu Yungui's.

Especially those dark eyes that could give off a certain sense of pressure.

"Mom, you're not angry anymore, are you?" Fu Xuan looked at the faint smile on her face and saw that she was in a good mood, but just in case, she still asked one more question.

Momo immediately shook her head, "I'm not angry, Mom has never been angry with you."

"I was just worried about you."

Fu Xuan breathed a slight sigh of relief. "That's good."

After saying that, she took the few yellow flowers from behind.

The boy held the flower stems and presented them to his mother, his cheeks instantly turning red.

"Mom, this is for you."

Momo looked at the few withered flowers; they must have been in her hand for a long time.

She raised her gaze along the flowers, and as soon as her eyes landed on her son's face, she saw him immediately look away.

She smiled suddenly, knowing he was shy, and immediately reached out to take it.

"Thank you, baby."

"You're welcome," Fu Xuan replied.

Momo held the flower in her hand, then looked at her son, "Ah Xuan, get along well with your father."

Ah Xuan paused for a moment, then nodded.

Momo smiled when she saw how readily he agreed.

"Mom, I'll go in first."

"Okay, sure," Momo replied.

Fu Xuan had just left when, a short while later, the man strolled over with his hands in his pockets.

Although Momo was no longer angry, she still didn't really want to talk to this man.

She immediately turned her face away and looked in the other direction.

However, she still admired him.

How did he manage to both anger his father when he was a son and be at odds with his son when he was a father?

Fu Yungui looked at the cat's puffed-up appearance, curled up in the recliner without moving, and found it rather cute.

He sat down on the chair next to him, turned his head to look over, and cleared his throat.

"My dear wife."

Momo still didn't turn around, but she snorted, "What?"

The man rested one hand on the armrest and stroked the woman's hair with the other.

Are you angry?

The woman didn't move, nor did she look at him even once. "No."

You can tell that's a lie as soon as you hear it.

"I was wrong." The man's apology came out naturally.

"Where did you go wrong?" Momo immediately turned around and asked, following his words.

The man frowned slightly, looking meek and submissive. "I shouldn't have argued with that unfilial son and used him as a target to teach him a lesson."

As he spoke, he reached out and took Momo's hand, placing it on his face. "My dear wife, please forgive me."

A warm hand came from her palm. Momo looked up in the moonlight and saw that the man's face looked pitiful.

It's obviously an act.

But she didn't expose it.

She simply pursed her lips, smiled faintly, then raised her chin and looked at him.

"Forgiveness is possible, but Mr. Fu, could you please not be so childish in the future?"

"She's over thirty and still bickering with her son."

As she spoke, she slightly pulled her hand away from his and then pinched his cheek.

"knew."

The man's voice was languid and lazy, like a cat being affectionate. As he spoke, he leaned his body against Momo, resting his head on her lap, and then subconsciously rubbed against her.

"My wife is the best."

Momo smiled faintly and gently patted his head. "Don't do it again."

"Otherwise, I might lose my wife and children."

"Okay." He said, then nuzzled closer to the woman's chest and reached out to embrace her slender waist.

She's already a mother of two, but her figure is still the same as when she was a teenager.

Fu Yungui even felt that it looked more charming now than before.

Especially right after giving birth to A-Yue, a woman exudes a captivating and full-bodied charm.

The moon was already high in the sky, shining on the two people under the tree.

Momo kept her hand on the man's head, stroking it repeatedly.

The man, on the other hand, squinted his eyes with an expression of enjoyment.

"Honey, now you understand why Dad treated you that way back then, right?"

The man raised his eyebrows immediately upon hearing this, but still didn't open his eyes. "I didn't go against the old man like that back then."

“But you also made him quite angry,” Momo said with a smile.

She's seen it several times already.

He doesn't deny this point.

However, he always felt that after becoming a father, he was very different from the old man he was back then.

From now on, he will never show favoritism to one child by hurting another.

He was angry with the old man at the time, partly because of his favoritism.

“From now on, try to communicate properly with Ah Xuan, okay?” Seeing his silence, Momo added.

"Why are the father and son so distant?"

The man paused for a moment.

“I know you two are the same kind of people, never backing down to anyone, but now you are a father.”

"As long as Ah-Xuan hasn't done anything wrong, I hope you can get along peacefully."

Fu Yungui listened in silence for a long while before responding.

"Yes, I'll try my best."

Momo laughed, "What do you mean by 'trying hard'? You have to do it."

The man scoffed, "Okay, I'll definitely try my best."

Momo smiled and patted him.

Before long, the moon was obscured by clouds.

Just then, Sang Ma's voice came from inside the house, saying that A Yue had suddenly woken up and was calling for her mother.

The two immediately got up and went inside.
