Chapter 301 Extra 6 Chinese Valentine's Day (Part 1)
On Friday evening, Fu Yungui was returning from Pattaya city on business and happened to pass by Fu Xuan's school. He was unusually interested in picking up his son from school, so he asked Anu to turn the corner at the intersection.
The black Bentley parked across the street from the school attracted the attention of countless passersby.
It was right at dismissal time, and the chattering and noise coming from the school gate and inside was too obvious.
Anu stood straight beside the car, staring intently at the students pouring out.
Then they searched for Fu Xuan's figure.
Now almost fourteen years old, Fu Xuan is taller than most of his peers, and with his impeccable face, he is easily recognizable even in this huge crowd.
The man sat in the back, with the window rolled down, leaning against it and casually looking out.
A huge crowd of people poured out, all wearing the same school uniform. They all looked almost identical, making it hard to see clearly.
The man, with a cigarette dangling from his mouth, slightly withdrew his gaze, closed his eyes, and leaned back.
A moment later, Anu's voice came from outside, calling for Fu Xuan.
Upon hearing this, the man opened his eyes, rolled down the car window, and immediately locked onto his target.
The boy had a bag slung over one shoulder, his posture was upright, and his expression was aloof.
It stands out conspicuously in the crowd.
Fu Xuan still looks very similar to Fu Yungui in terms of her eyebrows and eyes, but there are some differences. The aloofness she had when she was a child is slightly less, and there is more softness between her lips. She looks more and more like Momo.
The man watched him casually as he walked through the crowd toward them.
Without the obstruction of the crowd in front, the tall figure became clear immediately.
The next second, as soon as he glanced to the side, Fu Yungui immediately frowned.
This unfilial son was openly holding a girl's hand.
The girl only reached his shoulder; she was petite at first glance, with very fair and bright skin, so she probably wasn't Thai.
It seems his taste is just like Lao Tzu's.
As soon as Fu Xuan stepped out the door, he saw the familiar Bentley, and when Uncle Anu called his name, he knew who had come.
He was slightly surprised, but not flustered at all, and continued to hold the girl's hand tightly.
He didn't stop to talk to the people next to him until he reached the side of the road.
Fu Yungui sat in the car watching, not knowing what the two were whispering about, yet they were laughing so happily.
The man frowned.
They have truly surpassed their teachers.
I didn't get it until I was in my twenties, and good heavens, he's still not fully grown in hair, and he already knows how to find a girlfriend.
He always tries to surpass me in everything, even finding a woman before me.
Thinking this, the man looked up again and saw that Fu Xuan had reached the car and was talking to Anu.
The fair-skinned girl has vanished without a trace.
Anu walked to the driver's seat, while Fu Xuanbian walked around the car to the passenger side.
The moment his hand touched the doorknob, he heard a cold voice from inside the car.
"Sit in the back."
Fu Xuan subconsciously withdrew his hand, obediently took two steps back, and went upstairs.
The man was leaning back in the back seat, glancing at him slightly to the side.
Anu had already started the car and was heading home. Fu Xuan leaned against the back, and although he didn't look to the side, he could feel his father's gaze fixed on him.
"Dad, thank you for picking me up," he said politely, without even glancing at me.
The man, not annoyed by his reluctant tone, asked bluntly, "Hey kid, you've been chasing girls?"
The next second, to the man's surprise, the person next to him shook his head.
The man immediately frowned. They had already talked, but he wouldn't admit it.
He's nothing like his son; he dares to do something but not to take responsibility.
It's embarrassing to tell anyone.
Fu Xuan immediately saw what his father was thinking. He curled his lips and gave him a rare smile. "To be precise, she pursued me, and I happened to like her too, so we got together."
He spoke as if it were the most natural thing in the world, and with such confidence that his tone was filled with pride.
To the man, these words sounded like blatant boasting, a way of showing off that he was different from him.
If a woman actively and willingly pursues you, there's absolutely no need to resort to coercive methods to conquer her heart, like some people do.
The man's brows furrowed even deeper, and Anu, who was driving attentively in front, couldn't help but glance back through the rearview mirror upon hearing this.
Seeing that the man's face was almost black with anger from his son, she couldn't help but chuckle to herself.
After Ah Xuan said that, the man couldn't refute it even if he wanted to.
It's an undeniable fact that he forced Miss Momo back then.
Although she eventually won him over, she was initially very unwilling and even disliked him.
That's it. How did Ah Xuan find out about this? Brother Yun would never tell, and Miss Momo would even less likely to tell. It's obvious who told him.
Fu Yungui simply put on his sunglasses, closed his eyes, and lay down without saying another word.
"Uncle Anu, please stop in front of the flower shop for a moment." A moment later, Fu Xuan spoke politely to the driver in front.
I want to buy a bouquet of flowers.
Anu paused for a moment, then looked at the man behind him through the rearview mirror.
He remained silent, and dared not make decisions on his own.
Fu Xuan noticed this too, so she turned to the man next to her and asked in a gentle tone, "Is it alright, Dad?"
The man glanced at him through his sunglasses, frowned, and asked, "Why are you buying flowers?"
"Is it going to be given to that girl from earlier?"
Fu Xuan neither shook his head nor nodded, but he also didn't say who it was for.
I'm determined to buy it, and he can't stop me.
If it's too bad, I'll just not ride in his car.
Anu glanced in the rearview mirror and saw the father and son secretly competing again. He paused for a moment, then spoke up.
"Brother Yun, we'll be passing by on the way back, it won't take up much of our time."
The man propped himself up with his hand and remained silent.
Anu then assumed he had agreed.
As he turned at the next intersection, he spotted a flower shop. He parked his car in front of it, and Fu Xuan got out of the car without a care in the world.
After waiting for about ten minutes, Anu could sense that the man behind her was getting impatient before she saw Fu Xuan come out of the flower shop.
The boy, holding a bouquet of delicate jasmine, walked resolutely toward the car.
Fu Yungui glanced at him through the car window and frowned.
I don't know who she took after, but she has such a romantic gene.
This little kid already knows how to buy flowers to please girls.
Fu Xuan opened the car door, and before he even sat down, the man could smell the delicate fragrance wafting in from outside.
It looks unremarkable, but it smells quite nice.
Fu Xuan sat down inside, holding the flowers, without saying a word.
The two didn't speak to each other the rest of the way.
The man tilted his head slightly, staring intently at the flower in his hand. The small flower had a strong fragrance, but it wasn't overpowering.
Suddenly, he understood why his father-in-law had given his wife such a name.
This jasmine really does look a lot like the yellow jasmine.
It's light yet flavorful, which makes it increasingly appealing.
