Chapter 32 Leaving without saying goodbye?

Chapter 32 Leaving without saying goodbye?

When she arrived at the entrance of the annex, the bodyguard was waiting for her. Momo went upstairs, quickly grabbed her things, and came back down. Everything had been packed yesterday, so she didn't need to waste much time.

After she got out, the bodyguard drove her back to where she had been. Momo thanked him and then hurriedly got into a taxi and left.

Out of professional habit and sensitivity, the bodyguard sensed that Momo's condition seemed a bit unusual, so he subconsciously memorized the taxi's license plate number and the direction it was heading.

Not long after that car left, Fu Qiyu and Pi Weng's car arrived at the door.

The bodyguard relayed the message to her, and upon hearing it, Fu Qiyu immediately instructed the driver to turn around and head towards the airport.

On the way to the airport, the driver noticed her urgency and suggested taking a side road, since traffic jams on the main roads are common here, making them unsuitable for people in a hurry.

Momo agreed and asked the driver to drive faster as well.

Compared to the main road that was partially blocked, this tree-lined path was much smoother. As Momo got closer to the international airport, her heart gradually relaxed.

It was still scorching hot outside the window. She leaned against the window, watching the swaying green trees pass by. These few days felt like months to her—long and unbearable.

Now we can finally escape this place of trouble.

A short while later, a faint rumbling sound came from behind and above.

"Is that the sound of a helicopter?" The driver, hearing the sound from ahead, casually mentioned it to her out of curiosity.

Momo absentmindedly hummed in agreement. It sounded like it to her, but she had no interest in such things at the moment.

"But we shouldn't be flying this low here," the master casually remarked.

Momo responded indifferently, still not realizing that anything was strange.

Until Anu drove alongside their car and drove forward.

Momo turned her head and saw Anu's face. She was so frightened that she shrank back and hid herself in the car. Her heart started pounding and her mind went blank.

Sawa chased after her in a helicopter, while Momo sat in a taxi, panicked. How could they have found her so quickly?

She found it unbelievable. She hadn't been unaware that Fu Yungui would chase after her, but she hadn't expected him to locate her vehicle in the crowd so quickly.

She knew that only Qi Qi could save her now.

She hurriedly pulled out her phone to call Qi Qi, but the call rang many times without being answered. The constant beeping chilled Momo's heart; it seemed even her last hope had been extinguished.

After the call automatically ended, she stubbornly continued dialing, then instructed the driver to speed up and shake off the cars beside her. There was no helipad to land the helicopter overhead. She figured that if she could escape the pursuing vehicles, she might still have a sliver of a chance to get away.

The driver didn't ask any further questions, but he roughly understood what had happened. He floored the accelerator, and the car sped straight forward.

The car was going too fast, and she was a little scared sitting inside, but she knew that if this man caught her, she would be in even worse shape.

Just then, Fu Qiyu called. Her phone was on silent; she had been checking the surveillance footage of the taxi that Momo had taken with Uncle Shanla, so she hadn't noticed her phone at all.

Momo immediately answered the call, holding the phone with some emotion, "Qiqi, come save me! Fu Yungui is chasing me."

Fu Qiyu immediately sat up straight in the car, asking only one important question without asking any further questions: "Where are you now?"

Momo trembled as she moved the phone away from her ear, then went to ask the driver in front of her, "Where is this?"

"Chunwu Road is almost at its end," the driver said calmly.

Momo was about to relay the message to Fu Qiyu when she heard the person on the other end say decisively, "Okay, I understand. Don't be afraid, Momo. Grandpa and I are on our way and will be there soon."

“Okay…” Momo was almost crying as she said this.

Anu accelerated and sped ahead of them, then cut in front of them, trying to stop their car. The taxi driver saw the car suddenly appear in front of him and knew they were about to crash. He instinctively slammed on the brakes. Caught off guard, Momo's head slammed into the back of the driver's seat with a thud, and a piercing pain instantly spread from the point of impact.

There were no other vehicles on the road at the moment, so Sawa lowered the helicopter and landed it steadily in front of the two vehicles.

"get off."

Sawa held a submachine gun against the car window, which terrified the driver, who immediately covered his head and tumbled out of the car, trembling.

"Don't kill me." He regretted taking this job today; he might not only lose money but also risk his life.

Without saying a word, Sawa kicked the person aside and then beckoned to Momo inside.

"Little sister, get off the bus."

"It's not good to keep Brother Yun waiting."

Momo got out of the car, covering her head. She held her breath and stood motionless beside the car. When she saw the man not far away, leaning leisurely against the middle of the helicopter with his arms crossed, her heart trembled.

Shava pushed her to Fu Yungui's side, but she remained expressionless with her head down.

"It's rude of you to just leave without saying goodbye."

Momo didn't dare look him in the eye.

"say!"

"I...I'm going back to China," Momo said tremulously.

"Did you order the ladyboy?" he asked again.

Momo's heart sank; she neither admitted nor denied it.

Fu Yungui sneered, "You've really thought of everything. Is this how you repay your savior?"

"sorry……"

Momo had no idea how many times she had apologized to this man.

Fu Yungui snorted coldly, "You should know that if some things are said too many times, they'll become like yesterday's newspaper."

"Absolutely worthless!"

Momo's face flushed red, but she remained silent; she truly had nothing to say about it.

Fu Yungui reached out and grabbed the back of her neck, pulling her close. He then wrapped his entire right arm around her neck and pressed his face against hers, chuckling coldly, "Since you ordered it, I can't enjoy it all by myself."

"That's so boring."

Momo held her breath instantly; her long-awaited desire to go home sank into the sea.

"I don't want to, I don't want to go back, I want to go home." She struggled incessantly in the man's hands, saying that she wanted to go back today.

Fu Yungui said, word by word, "Does your opinion count?"

He then pulled his arm away from her neck and placed it on her waist, preparing to drag her onto the plane.

“Pasong…” Pi Weng and Fu Qiyu arrived just in time. Pi Weng got out of the car and said, “Quickly let go of Momo.”

Fu Yungui turned around upon hearing the sound, glanced at the person quickly, and then spoke to Momo, "They're quite eager to call for reinforcements, but unfortunately, the people who came are useless."

"Fu Yungui, I really don't know how I offended you. Even if I did something wrong, I apologized. Why do you have to keep making things difficult for me like this?" Momo's tears fell directly to the ground.

Fu Qiyu ran over first, but she and Pi Weng, who arrived late, were blocked by Anu.

"Uncle, please let Momo go."

Fu Qiyu spoke in a humble tone, but the man didn't even glance at her.
