Chapter 51 Choosing to Call the Police for Help

Chapter 51 Choosing to Call the Police for Help

Momo went down the stairs, and Sawa heard the noise and immediately got up and came over.

Good morning, little sister. Did you sleep well last night?

Momo sulked and ignored him. If he hadn't brought her here, she wouldn't have been able to spend the night with Fu Yungui. Although it was definitely Fu Yungui who instigated it, the behavior was still despicable.

Where is Fu Yungui?

"He said he would let me go back this morning."

Seeing her angry expression, Shawa couldn't help but smile. "Brother Yun is away on business, but he did instruct us to send you away once you wake up."

Momo was quite happy that bringing up the matter in the morning went so smoothly. She had thought it would be as difficult as last night, but it was so easy.

"Then let's go quickly." She didn't want to stay here a moment longer.

"Not eating breakfast?" Sawa pointed to the food on the table in the restaurant not far away.

Momo didn't even look at it and said directly, "I'm not eating." At that moment, she just wanted to go home as soon as possible, and she had no interest in sitting there and slowly eating breakfast.

And she didn't even know if the breakfast was poisonous, so she dared not try it lightly.

"They really don't understand how hard people work," Shava couldn't help but complain. He had gone out early and worked late to buy this, and they didn't appreciate it at all.

Momo ignored him and walked straight out the door.

Sawa dropped the person off at the alley entrance she specified, then spoke to the person behind her through the rearview mirror, "Brother Yun instructed you to remind that unlucky Mr. Bian Xi not to forget the matter, or it will be over."

Momo was stunned, not understanding what he meant. But how did this get involved with Bian Xi? Could it be that Fu Yungui had already contacted him privately?

What exactly is that referring to? I've never heard Bian Xi mention it before.

It seems she needs to find Bian Xi and ask him for clarification.

Filled with curiosity, she turned and got out of the car, then walked into the alley without looking back. Her steps were slow, and after hearing that Sawa's car had turned around and driven away, she turned back immediately.

Before she could fall asleep last night, she kept thinking about one thing: whether or not to call the police for help.

After much deliberation, she decided to go to the police, even though she knew the consequences would be severe if Fu Yungui found out.

This was the most appropriate and best solution she could think of at the moment. She didn't have the ability to fight Fu Yungui, and she didn't want to drag others into this mess. So she could only take a gamble and place her hopes on the police.

She wants to tell her story so that the police can investigate everything, deport the bad guys, and give her a safe living environment.

She hailed a taxi at the alley entrance and told the driver to go straight to the police station.

At the police station, Momo truthfully recounted everything that had happened from the afternoon of last night until this morning to the people opposite her, and the two men in front of her listened attentively.

After she finished recounting her experience, the older police officer asked curiously, "Ms. Huang, based on your description, you feel that this man surnamed Fu is threatening you, right?"

Momo nodded, then shook her head. "It's not just intimidation; I feel like he's taking revenge on me."

"Revenge?" the older policeman asked curiously. "Is there some kind of grudge between you two?"

“I offended him when I was in Thailand, but that wasn’t my intention…”

"Could you elaborate?" the young policeman asked her.

Momo nodded, "Of course." She carefully explained the whole story to the two policemen in front of her.

After listening, the two seemed to be deep in thought, and the older policeman brought the topic back to the current situation.

"We understand about this matter. Now, regarding your kidnapping yesterday, can you provide us with some substantial evidence?"

“You can check the surveillance footage from around 3 p.m. yesterday at the very end of Linxin Road. There should be footage of me being tied up in their car there.”

The younger policeman overheard this and wrote it down on a piece of paper. "We'll investigate and verify this. Are there any other issues?"

"You need to think about this carefully, as it is important for us to find out the truth as soon as possible."

Momo paused, thought for a few seconds, and then took out the diamond ring from her pocket and handed it to them.

"this……"

"This?" The young policeman was surprised, then reached out and took the ring to examine it.

"Yes, this isn't mine. He forced it on my hand last night."

"Miss Huang, this looks quite valuable, doesn't it?" the young policeman asked after taking a look.

Momo shook her head. "I don't know." But she knew in her heart that the diamond ring was definitely real, but she really had no idea how much it was worth.

"I'm sorry, this cannot be used as evidence that he harmed you at this time. Let's think about it from a normal person's perspective: would a criminal give such a large diamond ring to his victim?"

"The chances of that happening are probably very small."

"So there's no way to prove he hurt you at this time."

The older policeman finished speaking and smiled. Looking at the somewhat distraught girl in front of him, he and his partner exchanged a knowing smile. They both agreed that the pretty girl might have encountered an extreme suitor.

Momo was indeed stumped by their questions. She couldn't answer them.

Yes, she's standing right here, perfectly fine, without a single scratch, and she even received such a huge ring. No one would believe this could be considered harm.

Momo felt that it was already good enough that the police officers didn't treat her like a crazy person talking nonsense.

"Don't worry, we will still verify what you said. If it is indeed as you said, we will definitely investigate to the end and give you justice. Leave your phone number, and we will notify you when we have the results."

She nodded blankly, wrote her phone number on the paper, and then flipped to the end to sign her name.

The young policeman saw her out, saying, "Don't put too much pressure on yourself right now. It's best not to go out alone, especially in places with few people. In any case, make sure you're safe first."

Momo kept all his instructions in mind and said, "Thank you, thank you for your trouble."

"You're welcome. Call me again if you need anything."

“Okay…” Momo left.

She started to feel nervous on her way back from the police station. She didn't know how to tell her parents that she hadn't come home last night, and she didn't know what the situation was like at home.

And what about Bian Xi? How should she tell him everything that happened yesterday?

She absolutely couldn't hide anything from him, but if she told him everything that happened last night, Momo didn't know what the consequences would be.

She couldn't imagine how painful Bian Xi's reaction would be after hearing this, and she was most afraid that he would go and fight Fu Yungui to the death.

However, Bian Xi is no match for Fu Yungui. With a ruthless and vicious person like Fu Yungui, Bian Xi might not even be qualified to be his opponent.

She absolutely could not let Bian Xi take such a big risk because of her. If something really happened to him, she would feel guilty to death.
