Chapter 59 The Goods Were Stopped

Chapter 59 The Goods Were Stopped

He quickly disassembled it again, then picked up a knife from the side to disinfect it and remove the bullet.

Bian Xi opened his eyes in a daze and saw a long, thin, and extremely sharp knife being sterilized over a fire in his hand. He felt that if that knife were used, a person would be crippled if not killed.

Before Shawa could even insert the needle, Bianxi had already fainted.

“…” Shava turned around, startled, then smiled. “Perfect, saves on anesthesia.”

After a while, Shava and Anu finished dealing with Bianxi and then left him there to lie down for a while. They received a call from their boss and went back to the room they had just left.

From the moment Sawa entered, he sensed that something was wrong with the two people in the room.

But I don't know what's wrong.

The little girl was still hiding from the man next to her, looking terrified. No one knew what Brother Yun had done to her to frighten her like that, but whatever he did wasn't surprising; Brother Yun never followed the usual path.

"How is she?" Fu Yungui asked casually. Then he glanced at the woman standing there, wanting to ask about Bian Xi's condition but not daring to.

“There’s no danger to my life anymore, I knew what I was doing when I fired,” Shava said.

"That's fine then," Fu Yungui replied casually.

He certainly wouldn't have the time to care whether Bian Xi was dead or not. He had only promised Huang Momo to spare his life. Otherwise, he would have simply shot him dead without going through all that trouble.

Thinking this, he glanced again at the person huddled to the side, not moving at all. What a troublesome person.

When Momo heard that Bian Xi was out of danger, her anxiety subsided temporarily.

However, given the amount of blood he lost from his gunshot wound, it's unclear how serious it is. Even if he's not in mortal danger, he'll likely be unconscious.

Thinking of this, she cautiously peeked out a little more, wanting to ask Shawa for more details about Bianxi's situation.

As she looked up, she glanced at Sawa, and the man sitting leisurely next to her suddenly shifted his body and looked in her direction. Momo's heart began to race.

She immediately pulled her head back, swallowing back all the questions she wanted to ask.

Fu Yungui glanced at her but didn't say anything.

He scoffed. It was better that she didn't say it; it would save him from having any more troublesome ideas that would annoy him. She wouldn't agree and would instead threaten suicide, playing the victim and making it seem like he was the one who had wronged her.

He usually hates people who are overly affectionate and clingy. If it were anyone else, he would have shot her eight hundred times over.

There's no time to play cat-and-mouse games with her anymore.

As Fu Yungui was thinking this, he looked away from her. Just then, Ye Ying pushed the door open and came in from outside, holding his phone and walking up to him. "Brother Yun, here's your phone."

"who?"

“Mr. Pion,” Nighthawk said truthfully.

When Momo heard that it was Grandpa Pi Weng, she suddenly looked up and glanced timidly at the Night Hawk.

The person holding the phone had no expression. She didn't think she had ever seen him in Thailand before, but she felt that he looked fiercer and more ruthless than Sawat, who looked kind.

Fu Yungui sat there without moving. After hearing who the caller was, he had even less interest in answering the phone. He was a little impatient. "What does the old man want with me now?"

"I don't know. He said it was an emergency and asked you to call him back," Night Hawk said again.

Fu Yungui frowned, got up from the sofa, took his phone, and went out.

Momo's gaze remained fixed on the man until she saw him impatiently kick the door open and leave, at which point she turned her gaze back.

She started staring intently at Shava again, wanting to take advantage of Fu Yungui's absence to ask him about Bian Xi's specific situation.

She didn't know if he would be kind enough to tell her this once. But regardless, she was determined to give it a try.

"Little sister, don't keep staring at me like that. It's scaring me. If Brother Yun treats me like a love rival and kills me again," Shawa said with a smile when he saw her staring blankly.

Momo paused for a moment, realizing he was joking with her.

She turned her head again and saw through the window that Fu Yungui was standing outside, one hand in his pocket and the other holding a cell phone, talking to someone.

Momo felt that Grandpa Piweng on the other end of the phone was definitely talking to that man about something unpleasant, or at least something that Fu Yungui didn't find pleasant.

The man's expression was one of gloom and resentment, almost murderous, which was somewhat frightening.

However, she figured the call would take a while, so she could take the opportunity to ask Sawa.

She glanced at Fu Yungui, then quickly looked at Shawa.

"How exactly is Bian Xi?" Her voice was soft, as if she was afraid that the fierce man outside would hear her.

Shawa glanced at her and smiled. "Little sister, you can't ask about things like that. Brother Yun doesn't like hearing you care about that guy."

“He can’t hear you now, so you can whisper a little.” Momo continued to speak softly, hoping that Sawa could reveal some information.

What do you want to hear?

A familiar voice came from outside the door before Sawa could speak. Momo was startled and immediately covered her violently beating heart to calm herself down.

This man appeared so suddenly, almost like a ghost.

He was just on the phone, wasn't he? How did it end so suddenly in just a few seconds?

Momo could hardly believe it. It was as if he had installed a surveillance camera on her.

Fu Yungui stared at her, then saw her small face quickly move away to avoid his gaze, not daring to utter a sound.

He ignored her and went straight to the sofa to sit down. He then spoke to Night Hawk, who was standing next to him, "Night Hawk, you go back to Thailand first."

"Brother Yun, what happened?" Night Hawk asked calmly.

"The shipment that arrived at the Qingsheng Wharf last night was stopped because they said it contained heroin."

"What?" Night Hawk's expression changed, and he quickly said, "That's impossible. I personally checked it before it was shipped. There was nothing extra inside except for the Type 77 pistol."

Night Hawk's statement was certain, and he could completely confirm it. Before each shipment, whether it was ordinary or valuable goods, he would personally inspect it to ensure there were no problems. Besides, they never touched that stuff, so there was no way they would smuggle it into the cargo.

Anu said, "It must have been brought up by one of our own people without permission, or deliberately put in there."

"And why didn't I receive any news?" Nighthawk added.

“It seems those brothers were also arrested, and those people were already there, ready and waiting for them to arrive, so they didn’t have a chance to send out any notifications,” Shava said.
