Chapter 92 Venting

Chapter 92 Venting

(About a thousand words have been cut here, you know what I mean, same old place)

When I woke up the next day, the yacht had already entered Myanmar.

Momo was held in the man's arms and heard Anu's voice coming from outside.

"Brother Yun."

Anu had been standing outside hesitating for a long time, afraid of delaying things. He called Brother Yun but no one answered, probably because the phone was on silent.

However, he didn't dare to knock on the door easily. He didn't even want to imagine what the man would do to him if he disturbed something. But if he wasted time, he might be even more unlucky.

Momo shifted her body, but the man immediately pressed her down, saying, "Go back to sleep." Then he got up himself.

"Hmm..." Momo hummed.

The man opened the door, told Anu something, went back to wash up, and then came out to change his clothes.

He glanced at the person on the bed, who remained motionless. "Huang Momo, you stay here today and wait for me to come back."

Momo was still half-asleep when she opened her eyes and asked him, "Where are you going?"

The voice was languid, like that of a little kitten.

As Fu Yungui buttoned up his shirt, he couldn't help but respond softly, "I'm going ashore to take care of some things. I'll take you back when I get back. We're in Myanmar, so don't wander off. Just wait here for me."

"Oh, okay."

This time, she didn't ask to go with them.

In her mind, Myanmar had always been a dangerous place, a synonym for drugs and crime in some ways.

She was afraid of that kind of place, so she was somewhat grateful to Fu Yungui for taking the initiative to suggest that she not follow him.

Fu Yungui walked to the bedside, bent down and kissed her, then left.

She stayed obediently on the yacht all day, spending the rest of her time, except for eating and sleeping, strolling around and enjoying the scenery.

As night fell, the yacht stopped at another dock. Momo was fiddling with the fishing rod next to her on the deck when a roaring sound came from afar.

She immediately looked up and saw a silver helicopter flying towards them from a distance. She stared at it intently, wondering what it was.

As the roar grew closer, Momo recognized it as Fu Yungui's.

A short while later, Sawa slowly brought the helicopter to a stop on the top deck of the yacht, where a dedicated helipad was located.

"Huang Momo, have you been good today?" The man walked slowly down from upstairs with his hands in his pockets.

Momo stared at him, seemingly in a good mood, so things should have gone smoothly today.

"I didn't go anywhere, I just stayed here. It rained this afternoon, so I sat here and watched the lake for a while," Momo obediently told him about her itinerary for the day.

The man hadn't expected her to be so detailed, but he was satisfied with what he heard. He reached out and patted her head, smiling, "That's very well-behaved."

Momo remained silent for a moment, then followed him inside.

"Are we going back to Thailand later?" she asked as soon as she entered the restaurant.

“Yes.” The man sat at the bar next to him waiting for iced water. “I’ll take you out to play again next time. This time we’re going back early.”

"Oh," Momo replied. She didn't really care, since she wasn't in the mood to play anyway.

The Flying Fox stopped at Sheng'an Wharf. Fu Yungui planned to take Momo home first before going to take care of his business.

As the black Ferrari drove into the manor, Fu Yungui saw the old man standing at the gate with a serious expression.

Momo saw it too, "It looks like Grandpa Piweng, he doesn't seem very happy."

The man's face darkened upon hearing this, and he uttered a dry remark, "That's just how he is by nature."

Momo paused for a moment, then immediately got out of the car and took the initiative to go up and greet him. She put her hands together on her forehead and said, "Hello, Grandpa Pi Weng."

"Miss Momo." Pi Weng returned the greeting, feeling a pang of heartache seeing such a well-behaved girl being forcibly possessed by his son.

At first, he couldn't believe it when his granddaughter told him, but now he has no choice but to believe it.

After all, this beast is capable of anything.

But now that we know, how can we just sit idly by?

The man next to her glanced at her when he heard her address him so politely, and his face darkened even more.

Why call him grandpa? What, does he really think he's an uncle?

Is it absolutely necessary to call him "Grandpa"?

Momo didn't know why he was suddenly unhappy, or if it was related to Grandpa Pi's appearance, but she didn't dare to ask too much. She greeted Grandpa Pi and then left.

"You still know how to come back?" Pi Weng was furious when he saw his unfilial son. He had come several times but hadn't seen him at all.

Fu Yungui glanced at him, then walked straight past him.

"Why wouldn't I come back? This is my home."

"Are you just waiting for me to not come back one day?"

One sentence can be incredibly offensive.

Pi Weng was furious, but he didn't want to dwell on the topic and went straight to the point.

“Since you’ve done this, you have to give someone an explanation. Momo isn’t one of those casual women out there.”

"Explain what?" the man asked.

Don't try to play riddles with me.

"Getting married?" Fu Yungui said with a light scoff.

Pi Weng was angered by his frivolous manner.

"Marriage? Do you think you're good enough for her?"

"You want to marry her, but she doesn't want to marry you."

"Then why are you spouting all this nonsense?" The man had lost patience to listen to his continued rambling.

"You should spend more time in the sun and get some calcium; it might even add a couple more years to your life."

After saying that, he glanced at Sawa, who had no choice but to do as he was told and shut Pion out.

The angry old man kept poking at the glass from the outside.

Sawa followed behind the man, glancing back at the commotion as he went. "That Yun guy," he thought, "the old man's been so angry with him, it'll be hard for him to live two more years."

Before long, Fu Yungui took Anu and Night Hawk in another car and drove towards the central area of Pattaya.

Central Pattaya is the city's most commercially developed area, a prime location similar to Bangkok's Lumpinee district.

Night Hawk was driving, and Anu was sitting in the passenger seat. She turned around and spoke to the man, "Brother Yun, we have received confirmation from William that the people behind the scenes are indeed Buddy and Songcha."

"Badi probably wants to use your relationship with Soncha to get rid of one of them."

The man in the back seat listened without any change in expression, staring at the flow of people outside the window without saying a word.

Anu couldn't fathom his feelings at that moment, so he continued, "And as for Wenlai, William also inquired about him. In this business-grabbing incident, he was just a pawn. Wenlai has recently started getting involved in the drug business, and he's doing quite well."

"I reckon we'll have to give up on weapons."

"However, he has been getting quite close to Song Cha recently."

The man snorted, indicating that he had heard.

Anu turned her head and looked at him through the rearview mirror. "So... what should we do now?"
