Chapter 30 Slandering a good person like me?

Chapter 30 Slandering a good person like me?

Gu Sen smiled, not wanting to waste any more words with him, and instead asked, "Where were you last night?"

Where could you be so late at night?

"Just lie down and sleep in a beautiful woman's arms," Fu Yungui said in an extremely flippant tone, glancing at the person who had already disappeared into the distance.

Momo hid behind the bar, peeking out with her head to observe the unfolding situation. Fu Yungui felt that she even wanted to hide her head.

"Is there any witness?" Gu Sen asked again.

"Of course," Fu Yungui said casually, then waved to the bar, beckoning her over.

Momo didn't expect that even though she dodged so quickly, she would still get involved. However, she could feel the tension between the two men, so she didn't dare to resist at all and did whatever he said.

In short, it's always the right thing to do at this point.

Gu Sen then noticed the girl who had suddenly appeared beside him, with her bright, dark eyes, and asked her seriously, "Was he with you all night?"

Momo glanced at the man on the sofa, not daring to lie to the police, but even less daring to tell the truth.

Seeing her nervousness, Gu Sen softened his tone and asked again, "Are you sure you were with him all last night? I want to remind you to think carefully before you speak. You have to take responsibility for every word you say."

Fu Yungui glanced at her indifferently, hoping she would be smarter.

“Yes,” Momo said, making sure to say it in English.

Gu Sen then realized that she didn't seem to be Thai, but just in case, he checked her identity information.

After verifying the evidence, he stopped. In any case, he didn't believe a word that Fu Yungui was with her last night, since he had evidence. Thinking this, he turned around and continued to ask Fu Yungui.

“Last night, there were people making a deal in the Gulf of Thailand, and then a murder occurred. Someone reported that one of the boats was yours, and that you were seen on board. How do you explain that?”

Fu Yungui pushed his wine glass aside and casually asked, "Is someone there?"

"Kosen, shouldn't the police prioritize evidence?"

"Or do you think you're acting in a suspense drama here?"

Sawa couldn't help but laugh. You could never guess what his boss would say next.

Ignoring his sarcasm, Gu Sen threw the photo onto the table and said, "Look, isn't this your ship?"

Fu Yungui didn't even look at it, and put his foot on it directly. "So what if it is? My boat is legal. What... can't I go to the Gulf of Siam?"

“Just admit it’s yours. The bullets that attacked our police station last night came from this ship.”

"Oh?" Fu Yungui glanced at the photo and then sighed slightly. "That's a real pity. If it had been shot from this angle, your colleagues would probably be dead."

"Please tell them to rest in peace for me."

"It can be considered a sacrifice for the country."

"you……"

The young man behind Gu Sen was so angry at his arrogant attitude that he wanted to confront him, but Gu Sen stopped him.

"Since it's your ship, come with us." With that, Gu Sen gestured for the person next to him to come forward. He really hadn't expected him to admit it so quickly today.

Anu immediately stepped forward with his gun to block him, while Fu Yungui lay back on the sofa, speaking in a very casual tone, "Gusen, I don't think you're that old, how come you're so blind? Just because the ships look alike, you can slander a good person like me?"

"You didn't even look at the license plate number?"

"Luckily, I have good eyesight, otherwise I would have been wrongly accused and killed by you just like those innocent ghosts."

“If the police station is full of people like you, then I’d like to raise some questions on behalf of us taxpayers.”

Gu Sen was taken aback, and had a bad feeling. He then looked down and picked up the photos to examine them carefully. After looking at them for a long time, he found that only one of the people in the middle was different.

That's not 1, it's I.

Depend on……

Gu Sen looked up at the cunning old man, his teeth practically grinding in hatred.

This is clearly a deliberate illusion, used to mislead the eye; the subtle difference is so easy to overlook.

It seems he had already devised this plan to escape unscathed.

Fu Yungui couldn't help but smile when she saw his face contorted with anger.

Then he pointed towards the door and said, "Take care, and don't bother coming back."

"Remember to wear your glasses next time so you can see more clearly, instead of coming all this way in this hot weather."

"Don't be too arrogant, one day I'll find something on you."

Gu Sen said it almost through gritted teeth, and then walked away without looking back.

Fu Yungui chuckled lightly, then turned and glanced at the person next to him who was shrinking back again, sneaking around like a mouse.

"Pour the wine." Momo had just shrank back and hadn't even regained her balance when the cold and ruthless voice came from the other side.

She quickly ran over, not daring to delay for a moment. Even the police couldn't do anything to him, so what could she possibly do against him?

Momo stood to his right, holding the wine bottle with both hands, and bent down to fill his glass.

"Is that enough?" she asked again.

The man picked up the glass, took a sip, and said nothing. Momo automatically assumed he was satisfied, then turned and walked away.

Before she could even take a step, Fu Yungui grabbed her arm and pulled her back. Caught off guard, Momo stumbled and fell onto his lap.

She immediately realized what was happening, jumped up from him, and took several steps back, as if he were a venomous snake in the Amazon that she couldn't touch.

"I'm right here. Call me anytime you need me," she said softly.

She had no idea what her actions meant to that man.

Fu Yungui coldly downed his drink. Momo, seeing the glass was empty, immediately went up to him. Just as she touched the glass with the bottle, he ripped the bottle out, spilling the wine all over the table, splashing it everywhere.

"I'm sorry..." Even though she knew he did it on purpose, Momo's first reaction was still to apologize, and then she took out a tissue from the side to wipe the water droplets that had splashed on his pants.

Fu Yungui glared at her fiercely, and Shawa involuntarily moved aside to avoid hurting innocent bystanders. Anu felt that the boss's anger was completely reflected on his face. "You're disgusted, aren't you?"

"I'm letting you sit on top!"

"No……"

Momo then realized that her behavior just now did indeed seem to contain elements of disdain for him. However, she really didn't have that intention; in that situation, her first thought was that she was afraid he would be angry, so she sat on his lap.

But can it still be explained clearly now?

Momo felt like crying. "I really didn't mean it." With that, she walked over and sat on his lap again, proving it to him.

The man's legs were hard and all muscle; she felt uncomfortable sitting on them.

"Don't be angry, I really didn't mean it that way, I swear."

Momo was more anxious than an ant on a hot pan. She was terrified that the man might lock her up if he got upset, and then she would definitely not be able to go back that afternoon.

She can't be left here; she has to go back today.

Fu Yungui didn't listen to a word of her explanation. His warm, large hand grabbed her slender waist and lifted her up. "I just said we'd see how you perform. Did you really take that to heart?"

"Hmm?" The man raised an eyebrow, looking at her frightened little face.

Momo felt like she was in a world of extremes, experiencing both heat and cold. The heat emanating from his legs was intense on her bare legs, while his face felt as cold as ice.

"I'm sorry." At that moment, it seemed that there was nothing else she could say but "I'm sorry."

Fu Yungui reached out and grabbed the hand holding the wine bottle, pressed it to pour wine into the glass, and then brought it to his lips.

Momo's hand was suddenly pulled by him, and her whole body involuntarily moved closer to him.

Looking at his face, which was so perfect that it could easily give off a sense of pressure when you got close to him, she couldn't help but hold her breath and look away.

She stopped making any futile resistance, hoping he would calm down soon, and also thinking about how to get out of there unscathed.

The clock on the wall has already reached eleven o'clock.

She had to arrive at the airport by 12:30 and go back to get her luggage, so she didn't have much time left.
