Chapter 064 Chapter 64

【Topic】Slow reply to the second public repo
[Main post] I just finished my meal and recovered. If you have any questions, you can ask. Let me first talk about my feelings about the second public performance offline.
I was lucky enough to catch both performances. First and foremost, I want to praise the production team for their excellent staging. The wait wasn't as long as it was for the first performance, which was a reasonable amount of time, and it didn't detract from the individuality of the performance.
Throughout the show, the better stages in my opinion are:
"Only For You" opens with a bang. It's hard to believe this rap was written by the trainees themselves, and I feel like it's likely to be included in the group song. The team members also work well together, and Ji Shao actually hums a melody in the middle, which is really nice!
"A Little Sweet" had a strikingly emotional feel, and many people in the audience had to put on makeup when the song came out. The performance was also quite captivating. The overall level of the performance was above average, and a special mention must be made of the excellent synergy between former band members Chu Cheng and Xiang Rui on this song.
Some flawed but still good stages include:
The rhythm and flow of "Painting and Ink" are quite good, but the emotions aren't as rich as "Only for You." Xu Zhou's rap is really good, but some members forgot the lyrics, leaving the stage empty for quite a while, which was a bit of a shame.
Liang Wendao's vocals in "Handwritten Diary" were truly top-tier, but I felt he made the same mistake as Wang Quan in the first public performance: he was too self-conscious, taking away all the showmanship. The other members of his group weren't very present, but the performance was actually quite good! The original song's melancholy was recast with a sense of relief, and at least the audience was quite impressed.
I noticed that the dance group in this position review was quite average. I'm not sure if it's because the dance styles weren't particularly explosive (I'm a fan of both gentle and explosive styles), or if my expectations were too high. This group had the most uniformity and was more pleasing to the eye.
Controversial Stage:
"Turn on the Lights, See You" drew a strong reaction from the audience, thanks to Wang Quan being a member. As you're all aware, this delayed the trainees' performances. But aside from all else, Wang Quan's skill on this stage was undeniable. He remained so calm, especially in that kind of setting. I'm quite impressed.
My personal dislike for the stage:
"High and Low" can't help but sneer: If you haven't practiced your dance yet, don't even bother going on stage. Stiff body movements, missing the beat, and just standing there idly... Even if you look handsome, others will just see you as a gorilla with bared fangs and claws. I urge Zheng Shulin and his crew to practice harder; it's hard not to suspect their level is at the bottom of the Xingtu 101 group.

The poster next to me said that the vocals of Duan Jiamu's group were not good, and it seemed like everyone was singing their own songs and there was no harmony at all. Is this true, poster?
9L OP
Reply to 4L: I don't have much impression of his group, it should be just average.

The host said a lot, I love to read it!

I want to know how Ji Shao and Xu Zhou compare. I'm not afraid to ask first, hahaha
39L OP
First, Xu Zhou's group suffered from a poor live atmosphere. And for some reason, they kept running to the back of the stage during the rap, unlike the group on "Only You" who interacted with the audience. Lyrically and melodically, I think Ji Shao was better!
…
The second public performance didn't end until the early hours of the morning, and many audience members thought the performance was quite good. At least everyone was quite fascinated by it. Although there were some minor incidents, fortunately, the impact was not significant.
Since Zhou Xiao was in the front row, she did not rush out after the second public performance ended. Many fans who were originally around her, regardless of whether they were fans of Ji Shao or not, waved goodbye to Zhou Xiao before leaving.
"Why hasn't Teacher Zhou left yet?" Zhang Hongyu, dressed in black, put the camera in the hands of his assistant and ran over quickly when he saw Zhou Xiao.
"Wait until there are fewer people around before leaving." Zhou Xiao glanced at Zhang Hongyu. She was now used to his sarcastic tone.
Zhang Hongyu scratched his head and chuckled, "I have to thank you. I still get paid now, and my work is much easier."
He was talking about taking official photos. The first voting for the program team's innovative #Star Path 101 Station Sister Help# ended at noon on the 8th, and the program team had selected a station sister through voting.
Although the production team was previously criticized for canceling the "Pounding Heart" spot, the trainees' fans were still very concerned about the voting results. In the end, Yan Shu's fan club narrowly defeated Chu Cheng's fan club to take first place. This led to an even more heated fight between the Yan Shu and Chu Cheng families, and they often accused each other of vote manipulation on the forum.
Just as Zhou Xiao was about to answer Zhang Hongyu, Qi Sisi and her group, who were walking against the flow of the crowd, finally found her. "Xiaoxiao! Come here!" Qi Sisi spotted Zhou Xiao's figure with her sharp eyes, raised her hands above her head and waved them vigorously, trying to attract Zhou Xiao's attention.
"You're welcome. My friend is looking for me. I'll be leaving first." Zhou Xiao's face lit up when she saw Qi Sisi and the others. She was in a good mood. After saying goodbye to Zhang Hongyu, she quickly ran towards Qi Sisi and the others.
…
On the tree-lined path at night, the light of the flashlight flickered on the ground, and the chirping of cicadas, the croaking of frogs and the sound of people's gentle conversations intertwined.
Dong Xiaoyu, who was standing by, pointed her flashlight at a frog with its cheeks puffed out. When she shone the light on it, the frog immediately jumped off the floor tiles and back into the bushes on the side of the road.
"...So you're shooting Ji Shao's perfume commercial?" The group walked slowly down the street, chatting as Zhou Xiao briefly described the process. Of course, Zhou Xiao had dismissed the existence of the "Business Photography Card," rationalizing it as a temporary shoot recommended by a friend in the industry.
"No wonder," Qi Sisi muttered to herself. No wonder Zhou Xiao asked her to choose the perfume that day. It turned out to be because she was participating in the advertising shoot. Thinking of this, she held Zhou Xiao's hand tighter. God, this is more than just a friend, this is a big partner!
The group trudged along a small path to Huashang Times Square. Although it was already midnight, the square was still bustling with activity. Zhou Xiao could still hear the sounds of people maintaining order; these were the fans' club members recording offline support videos.
Of course, Zhou Xiao and the others were much slower, so what they saw was the finale of the recording. Offline, many families had already started packing up. "Xiaoxiao, are you going to take down this flower wall?" Qi Sisi was eager to touch the still-blooming flowers on the wall.
Zhou Xiao shook her head. Qin Shi had previously transferred a sum of money to her, asking her to use the flower wall later. She said she was planning a two-day offline check-in event, and the flower wall Zhou Xiao had been supporting was a ready-made resource.
"XS and I bought this flower wall," Zhou Xiaoxu patted his bag. "Let's go, I'll treat you tonight." As for who's guarding the flower wall? Did you see the security guard sitting next to it? That's Qin Shi's own money.
…
Just as they were discussing what to eat, a forum user named @一只小瓜 (a small melon) suddenly broke the news—Wang Quan had withdrawn from the competition. The forums and Weibo accounts were in turmoil, with many fans of the show, including those who followed the show, feeling that some netizens were pushing Wang Quan too far.
——Blog Post——
@拉面館陶老师V: I was quite sad to see the revelations. Mr. Tao happened to be at the recording site for the second public performance of Star 101 today. Honestly, although Wang Quan did something wrong, he finished the song under tremendous pressure. I think he is quite strong inside.
[Just finished eating melons on the forum, as a viewer, I think I should give Wang Quan a chance. It's really rare. Listening to today's offline repo, it seems that he carried the whole scene by himself. Sigh...]
I didn't dare to say this before because the online anger was so intense. But now that Wang Quan has withdrawn, I'll say it. I feel like Wang Quan is a very responsible person. According to the source, Wang Quan asked to withdraw, and the conditions he and the production team proposed were to help his teammates finish the second public performance... I really would...
What a shame! After listening to the leaked live audio, Wang Quan was really steady! His teammates, on the other hand, were lame and completely out of tune.
"Can you give him a chance? Who can say they never make mistakes...?"
【……】
While some onlookers were listening to the secretly leaked audio of Wang Quan's live performance during the second public performance, admiring his stability and hoping that the production team could retain Wang Quan, someone suddenly jumped out in the forum and directed the topic to Ji Shao.

[Topic] Strange, no one talks about Ji Shao’s weight?
[Main Post] I went to the second public performance and listened to the entire performance, but I'm still a little curious. With the acclaimed "Only For You," doesn't anyone feel something's off? Is Ji Shao getting too much weight?

Fire Tongs Liu Ming, what kind of giant melon is this? Let me try it!

According to what the original poster said, could it be that Ji Shao took someone else's share?
9L
He's already so famous, why would he still do something like this? Look at Wang Quan next door, he's about to withdraw from the competition but still wants to ask his brothers for help...
13L OP
There must be quite a few people recording videos and audios on the scene. Ji Shao's voice is very clear. You can simply calculate the proportion he accounts for and you will understand my doubts.

Oh my god... I recorded it and just listened to it. Wow, whose part did Ji Shao swallow?

Reply to 48L: Could someone please share this with me?

Maybe it’s because Ji Shao is good at rap, so he got more points. Can you please stop talking about conspiracy theories?

Does singing well mean you deserve more? Even though it's a competition, isn't the way you eat a lot a bit too ugly?
…
Zhou Xiao, who had just sat down and was about to order food, saw a call pop up on the other end of his phone. After answering it, he heard a noisy voice on the other end of the phone.
She asked Zhou Xiao loudly, "Xindong, I heard from others that you were in the front row during the second public performance. Do you have a panoramic view of Ji Shao's stage during this performance?"
"Panoramic view?" Zhou Xiao was a little confused as to why Cheese would ask her about the panoramic view. Could she have said something wrong?
The next second, Cheese seemed to walk to a quiet place. "Someone on the forum said Ji Shao stole someone's part, but the gossip I heard here is that someone on stage forgot the lyrics!"
"He added Ji Shaoduo's part to save the day!" Cheese's voice sounded a little anxious, "But I only recorded Ji Shaoduo's straight shot, not the others. Do you have any?"
