The white sea of clouds looked just like the snow that fell outside the dilapidated temple years ago.
Looking at the sea of clouds, Gu Jian felt as if he were seeing the scene from back then.
A three-year-old boy was chasing desperately in the snow, crying out, "Daddy, don't abandon me!"
But his father rode his horse further and further away, leaving him alone in the white, snowy world.
A child abandoned by his loved ones cries in the snow.
The darkness that followed filled him with fear and helplessness.
This scene also became a midnight nightmare, often haunting his dreams.
On the hill.
In his hand, Gu Jian tightly gripped the jade pendant bearing his birth date that he used to wear around his neck.
His inner turmoil was at its peak.
The feeling of confinement was as if the world was shrinking, turning into a cage that trapped him inside.
