Chapter 355 Du Wanchun's Counterattack

Chapter 355 Du Wanchun's Counterattack

The servant immediately squinted and smiled, "Young Master, what do you mean by that?"

Young Master Yang said confidently, "Since Lord Zhou doesn't love beautiful women, I don't believe his wife doesn't love handsome men."

The servant's smile faded slightly. "However, this Manager Du seems like a shrewd man; he doesn't seem like someone who would easily go astray."

Young Master Yang stood up, looked ahead, and revealed a sinister smile. "She won't go the wrong way. We can just push her in."

The servant replied, "Yes, young master."

Young Master Yang waved his hand, telling him to hurry up and get on with it.

The next day, Du Wanchun did not go directly to the shop in Cheng'an County, but instead went to the school that the Fifth Prince had just opened.

Besides the Zhou family's children, there were also children from several families in the surrounding villages, totaling more than ten students, all of similar age.

With more children, Xiao Mianmian no longer clung to her older brothers and Xiao Qing'er as much as before.

The little ones all love her.

Seeing this, Du Wanchun let go and left.

As she was leaving, the Fifth Prince strode up to her and said with a smile, "Sister-in-law, I think Yi'er and Yu'er are very intelligent. They will definitely have a bright future."

Du Wanchun looked up at her two sons in the room and smiled, "They'd be happy if they were even half as good as their father."

The Fifth Prince said with certainty, "Sister-in-law, I think these two children are even stronger than their father."

Du Wanchun chuckled softly, "You mustn't let your older brother hear you saying that, or he'll make you regret it."

The Fifth Prince quickly covered his mouth and nodded obediently, "I understand, sister-in-law."

Du Wanchun laughed when she saw his frightened little face.

When the Fifth Prince saw her smile, he knew she was joking, and immediately laughed along with her.

Since he came to Cheng'an County, his timidity has improved a lot.

Although they can still be a bit startled at times, they won't let you down when it really matters.

After leaving the school, Du Wanchun returned to the Zhou family's rice shop.

She had just arrived at the rice shop when she received an invitation from Young Master Yang to go to a nearby restaurant, where he said he wanted to host a banquet for her and her husband.

Upon receiving the message, Du Wanchun smiled and said, "Then please wait a moment, Young Master Yang. I will go to the county government office to wait for my husband so we can go together."

The servant quickly replied, "Manager Du, there's no need. My young master has already sent someone to the magistrate's residence to fetch Lord Zhou."

Upon hearing this, Du Wanchun smiled and said, "Alright, but may I go to the incense shop to get a change of clothes?"

After hesitating for a while, the servant bowed and replied, "Alright, I'll go to the incense shop to pick up Manager Du later."

Du Wanchun nodded slightly, turned and left the rice shop, heading to the incense shop on the next street.

At this moment, there was a customer in the incense shop, Miss Wei Er, who had just arrived from the capital. She was also the first to find the Zhou family's incense shop.

"Wanchun, this lady says she's looking for someone."

Du Wanchun approached Miss Wei and asked, "Madam, who are you looking for?"

Miss Wei quickly took out a portrait of her husband.

Zhang Qiuhe leaned closer to take a look, "Isn't this Young Master Yang?"

Miss Wei said with a stern face, "That's right, it's him, he's my husband."

Du Wanchun feigned surprise and said with a smile, "So it's Madam Yang."

Miss Wei's expression softened considerably when she heard the woman address her as Madam Yang. "You must be Manager Du?"

Du Wanchun smiled and said, "That's right, Madam Yang. I just saw your husband's servant."

“What happened to my husband’s servant?” Miss Wei asked.

Du Wanchun said slowly, "Your husband is hosting a banquet for me and my husband at a restaurant. You can come with us."

Miss Wei suddenly realized, "That's fine too."

Just then, a horse-drawn carriage arrived.

This carriage was found by Young Master Yang in Qingzhou Prefecture on short notice; he did not know Miss Wei or Du Wanchun.

Du Wanchun pointed to the carriage and said with a smile, "Madam Yang, this is the carriage that Young Master Yang came to pick me up. Why don't you go first, and I'll go change my clothes and then come back?"

Miss Wei nodded and boarded the carriage with her maids and servants.

After Du Wanchun helped her onto the carriage, he turned around and went inside to change his clothes.

It was half an hour later when she finished changing her clothes.

Du Wanchun made another carriage and headed towards the restaurant that Young Master Yang had mentioned.

Meanwhile, inside the restaurant.

Young Master Yang was smiling as he led Zhou Ruiyuan into the private room.

"Lord Zhou, come this way."

Zhou Ruiyuan walked beside him with a sullen face.

Two servants walked in front of them and led them to the private room, pushing the door open.

Inside the private room, there were people: two or three young men and a woman were lying on the couch drinking.

The servants exclaimed in surprise, "Oh! This! This!"
